No hot water for the first two days. Unlike my friends', the room was not cleaned the second day and when asked, the staff lied by stating that I was supposed to hang out the tag (which I then checked and realized it was missing in my room). Safe broken.

Replace beds in the rooms its in very poor condition all the inner springs broken, we expect to sleep comfortably when paying to stay at bulabard hotel. And upgrade bathrooms standards . Maintain professional service at reception. Pest control required in the kitchen as dishes gets prepared left on the counter cocroches gets to taste the food before customers . We hardly ate from your restaurant. .

Disappointing, wouldnt stay here again.

Ordered food at the bar whilst waiting for 2pm checkin. Still waiting 1.5 hrs later, went to enquire and got told our order didnt exist. They eventually found our receipt and told us our order hadnt printed on the kitchen end. Asked for a refund as had 2 hungry kids. Walked 5mins to olive mart where food was good and arrived promptly!!

The room itself could also do with some improvement. While big and the air con was nice. Cups were dirty and kettle looked about 10 years old.

Do yourseld a favour and dont book here.

Great place ! me and my little family we enjoyed every bits of our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable especially the beds, my kids love the soft pillows.

We spend Christmas Eve at the restaurant, we love the homely vibe mostly from the staff, the entertainment and the food.

We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Suite 1 room is very old, paint coming off the walls, carpet in the hallways missing and the most agonizing thing was air conditioner was broken for 3 of my 5 days stay. They dismantled the key lock (no one knew where the actual key was to open it) and opened an adjoining door to try to move a/c into the room until repair guys came which helped a bit but not enough to really give relief and prevent my suffering heat stroke. The a/c company took their sweet time coming & when a/c guys showed up to repair they didn’t have another gas canister and had to come back the next day (day 3) to install. The room was measuring at 36.7 degrees (I have a thermometer app on my phone) and I was sick from the heat. Room was very noisy at night from other guests on the floor, the music playing outside and guests on patio singing and making noise until way past 2am on two separate nights. I found a cockroach crawling on the wooden wall behind the headboard my final night there which then I cancelled my other booking at Bulabard for my final two nights in Fiji. I have been there several times in the past and my stay was fine, this trip it was terrible. I will never return as they are not maintaining the rooms or this property and I paid alot of money for the suite I had which I was never offered a refund for especially due to the nights I had to stay in a hot room. Even the staff was commenting about how hot the room was yet no one hurried the a/c company to fix it. Extremely disappointed.

Lots of seating near the pool although only loungers in the sun. Staff very friendly. Right on the beach. Music from next door was really loud until about 1030-11 pm each night. Lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance. Short taxi ride to the airport

Not much to do in the area just relax walking on the beach. There is a small store to buy water or snacks. The rooms are not soundproofed, I could hear next door neighbors conversations and snores.

Very much a hostel vibe. My husband and I actually booked another place and moved. We just wanted a comfy affordable last few nights before flying home and this was not it. There are no pool loungers and it just felt overall uncomfy and inconvenient. Super noisy area and not sound proof at all. Music was always blasting loud and you can hear it clearly from all the rooms. More for young single backpackers, not couples or families. Staff was wonderful as always in Fiji.

As a family of 4, we had a terrible stay and would definitely not stay again.
Were unsure if staying in main hotel or apartment when booking, but thought it was hotel when making booking although the booking site was not at all clear which is a shame. On arrival after a late flight, arriving around 9.15pm with young children were taken to apartments 2 blocks from hotel. The next door apartment (part of Bulabard apartments) had a party to 3am with loud music and partying outside our room. we told security & rang reception twice (which is not a cheap exercise as we’re on roaming charges due to just arriving, no phone in rooms & reception at main hotel around 10min walk away in a place we had just arrived in the dark to so had no idea where to walk, apartment is completely separated) but the noise continued meaning very minimal/no sleep. The beds were very old, squeaky, dirty and the door to bathroom was broken/did not work properly so could not be shut. Shower was cold only in the morning after almost no sleep for the entire family which was another terrible experience. Kids wanted a swim but hopped in pool at apartment and it was freezing/then shower was cold so unable to warm up. When checking out reception just said ‘sorry’ and will let maintenance know about shower. No offer of anything due to our terrible stay and no functioning shower. Worst place we have stayed in anywhere we have travelled & definitely not recommended, so many better options we have used in Fiji

I booked and pre-paid a standard room at Hotel Bulabard in July. I arrived to be told I have been \"upgraded\" to an apartment off the property and a staff member would drive me there. I said I did not want the upgrade as I wanted to be on the property for the hotel amenities. I was told my room I booked was not available.

I was driven 5 minutes away to a very simply property with a pool that was not in use. I was taken to my \"apartment\" which was just a room with a bed, a sink and bench in it (no kitchenette facilities to justify the 'apartment' label). The light in the main room did not work, only the bathroom. When I turned the bathroom light on there were cockroaches crawling up the curtains in the main room. I asked for a light bulb to be brought which was not possible. I called the hotel reception to explain what was going on. I was then taken to a different room on this offsite premises. This had light but no curtains, not hot water, and the door was not lockable. I called the hotel again and they were 'unable to do anything'. As I was alone in an unknown area with no knowedge of hotels nearby I stayed in this room but did not sleep.

I demanded repayment the next day of my accommodation fee. Hotel Bulabard said they would approve this but I had to go through WOTIF. I emailed WOTIF numerous times and have not received any reply.

I will never book with WOTIF again due to their inability to follow up issues.

Upon arrival, we were informed that the room we had booked via Expedia was unavailable and that we would be moved to alternative accommodation. This was located just around the corner, accessible via a short drive in the property’s transport. Instead of the ‘deluxe queen bedroom’ we had reserved, we were given a studio apartment.

The standard of the accommodation was rather average; the room was in need of refurbishment and felt a little rough around the edges. Clean sheets ensured a satisfactory night’s rest. We had chosen this property primarily for its cost, so we were not expecting luxury, but as we were not given the room we had booked, we would not choose to stay here again.

A lovely start to our Fiji holiday. A couple of nights at the BulaBard with amazing ocean views over the pool and outside dining was divine. (Unfortunately the pool was closed as it needed a really good clean, that was disappointing!)
Great eating options all along the beach, a handy supermarket for little things and just a great introduction the the Fiji vibe. It is a bit rundown and could do with a makeover, but it was clean and comfortable for the price we paid.

Amazing view of the beach. My sister and I fell in love with Wailoaloa Beach. There’s no seaweed, great shells, and a great natural palm tree grove nearby. We stayed a week and loved the place. The staff were super nice and the resort was great. The sunset view from the beach can’t be beat. The staff helped us arrange every trip we made, and the food and drinks were all safe. You can freely travel to the nearby hotels, so you can watch a show or two every night. We had the closest room to the beach and back patio and were able to sleep soundly despite the partying. We were in the room opposite the kitchen and were even able to sleep through that most nights. They definitely ensured that my sister and I’s vacation which we had been dreaming since we were kids was a dream come true. 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We weren't met at the airport despite having arranged a pick up from the Hotel so we caught a taxi (that turned out to be cheaper anyway). The room was an odd configuration of 4 king size beds and two small ensuites with a shower and toilet each back to back. The toilets didn't smell good. It was a noisy area not improved by loud music from the restaurant that went on until 11pm each night. When the music went off the staff continued to party. And then when all the human sounds had stopped the air-conditioning units for every room were located on the wall outside our room and hummed loudly all night. Luckily we had ear plugs. We weren't given enough towels or a bathmat or hand towels and had to request these. There was lots of space in the room but nowhere to hang anything (like towels). Even the wardrobe didn't even have a bar, let alone any hangers! It was a room with things you didn't really need and missing some of the standard things you would expect. Our room was FJD 500 per night which seemed like a lot for what it was. Restaurant was also pricey and basic so we ate elsewhere. The people were lovely though! :-)

Accomodation had issues though. We only got hot water 2 of 9 days; apartment was not serviced when requested a few times; pool pump and other guests disturbed sleep; tv was only functional on youtube.

The staff here at the bulabard are absolutely lovely! And soooo friendly! The pool itself is beautiful, the deck is in need of some love for sure. There are plenty of restaurants around for choice, all of them pretty decent. Easy and plenty of transport 10mins into Nadi. The hotel is definitely in need of some renovation and repairs, and if your looking for quiet this is not the hotel for you. It’s very noisy with music and ppl coming and going until very late and rooms are very noisy. Our first room was very mouldy the whole ceiling in the bathroom was covered and wet in there the fan didn’t work so nothing ever dried. And the shower was mouldy too, and not tried to clean it and fix fan??. We got moved after 2 days due to the noise, that was nice they tried to help by doing g this, the rooms in the hall across from kitchen and reception get all the noise early and late +++. the next room was no better for the noise factor, as it was directly above the car park where everyone arrives and departs at all hrs and the music and traffic on the road very noisy, in fact worse, but the bathroom was at least dry and no mould on the ceiling. All in all, it’s in a fabulous location, beautiful scenery and the staff are fabulous but you are getting what you pay for definitely!

This place is the worst place to stay. They have the main building renovated but still very outdated. Then they have another property called BULABARD apartments. When you’re booking you see different units we opted to book the apartment size unit. Its located not at the main building. This is not indicated. The pictures are not what you get. The units have used furniture. Broken shower doors. No water pressure a pool that is not maintained. Patio furniture in the living rooms. There is no elevators if you are trying to get to the 2nd level. Floors dirty i dropped water wiped the floor towel was black. Tried to speak to the managers and they didnt know how to handle the false information/advertising. I wish i had taken pictures. Do not stay here

Staff at the front desk were so lovely and welcoming. Our room was very worn - the bed was lumpy and had seriously creaking springs. There was something amiss with the plumbing - the toilet was fully blocked to the rim when we checked in. When we got back from dinner out, a sewage truck was parked outside sorting the problem and the smell was terrible. The pool was closed for maintenance, and isn’t really a pool you’d want to spend any time in. Fine for a night when transiting offshore. Walkable to supermarket, and two nice food places - Olive Tree and the Peanut place (smoothie bowls are delish). And Grace’s Day Spa for amazing massage.

We stayed two nights at the hotel. Staff provided excellent service. Food was very delicious cooked by Mohammed and team. We were not happy with our room, there was no bar fridge, bathroom shower didn't had a dooor. Not enough towels or any robe provided but towels were provided when requested. Hotel BulaBard should be your last choice. The staff were friendly but they play terrible music every night until 11pm that is so loud, even the guests in neighboring hotels could hear it.

had discussiin with front desk for things to do.. was told to see museum is Suva and they could arrange it. i wanted to take bus they kept pushing for the car saying it was very good price and i trusted them...wrong move. Bus tour inc pickup, museum entry , shopping and return turned out to 85% CHEAPER.. they told me i was wrong, but i showed tgem it was true and wanted 1/2 of my money back.. the got me a price on trip to cloudbreak wave for 1/2 day..i was shocked andcwent to Port Denarau and price was 75% CHEAPER.. they just tried robbing me and will never return.

had breakfast 1 morning.. 1cold scrambled egg, 3 pieces almost raw cold bacon and a pot, 2 cups, of tea yuk..service just slow went for happy hour as board by reception advertised it. went and ordered a beer and was told beer was regular price no happy hour.. told waitress she said no.. went for dinner. picked up menu from waitress sat down and waited 20 minutes to get order taken. the next table said service was very slow.. one staff member said people get up and walk out, no service. last night I went next door to smugglers and the beer was 1/3 less and fast service.. I asked many locals about trip price to museum and all said they robbed you. credit surcharge at Denarau 3% BulaBard 5% they just rob the tourist.. my feeling was i was not a guest but an ATM they could take money from.

Great rate with a lot of amenities

My daughter and I briefly stayed here on our way back to Canada. We had cousins staying at the Ramada next door so it was great to have the options of going to either hotel. There's lot of food options at the Bulabard and also other hotels along with some great restaurants nearby. There's Trumart super market close by so Bulabard is great location for a great price. We stayed at one of the 2 ocean suites. Great view.

Booked this hotel at the last minute and I would say I made the right choice. It's right by the beach and was very affordable. The staffs are extremely nice and the General Manager was very kind and helpful. Highly recommendable hotel.

Poor Quality

Toilet was in poor conditions, the shower didn’t have any door, there was no toilet paper when I got there. The room had a weird smell, no complementary coffee or tea. The music that they put in the hotel pool area was so loud all nights that you can here in the room so loud that it was annoying. The food in the restaurant is over priced and not good
