We enjoyed this property four four days. We booked it wanting to have a different experience than the \"chain resort\" accomodations we enjoyed in December as a stopover on our vacation in New Zealand. We stayed in a beachfront bura which was clean and basic. We enjoyed sitting on the porch during rains. The breakfast at the resort was basic but enough. Dinners were good. We had pizza next door from the main dining on night and it was very good. Interesting cliental and we met an assortment of people from young travellers on school break from England to young families to older couples. The resort is quite remote but it has a swimable beach when the tide was right. Warning - hotel is suppose to be no cash so watch for employees wanting you to pay in cash. The bartenders we great and we enjoyed banter with them. A very good value for families.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this resort in Fiji. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome with their genuine warmth and friendliness. The resort itself is beautiful, well maintained, and perfectly set up for families.
Our kids had the best time, they absolutely loved the activities, kids’ facilities, and overall atmosphere.

There was always something for them to do, which gave us the chance to truly relax and enjoy the holiday as well. Seeing how happy and entertained the kids were made the whole trip even more special.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, the food was delicious with plenty of options for everyone, and the resort grounds were stunning.

Everything was well organized and stress free, making it a perfect family getaway.

We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and created unforgettable memories as a family. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone travelling to Fiji, especially families with children. We can’t wait to come back!

1 pool was decommissioned the rwsort was down the dingiest dirt road the pictures on line over sold the facility. It was bit old in reality, menu was odd no fijian meals or very lottle option for that and didnt stock things they had on offer for cocktails.

All aspects of this resort was unsatisfactory. The room was very run down. Mismatched tiles, old furniture. Other guests reported their room didn’t even have fridges. The breakfast was the worst experience. The buffet served tinned spaghetti, tinned fruit. For the amount of money we paid, we were well and truly ripped off. Expedia should remove this resort from their site.

This was a great place to stay. Beautiful property and great staff helpful and accommodating. The food was adequate as were the accommodations. Not to mean it was bad at all. It IS pretty rustic, at least in the non renovated bures I stayed in, but I felt that was part of the charm. Despite rustic and dated very clean. There are not TVs as advertised, if that’s important to you. Liked the different activities and dinner events they had too. So overall I would stay here again and would recommend.

Room was still dirty from the previous guests. Garbage, bed slept in and not bedding not changed. Dirty towels still in bathroom. Bathroom not cleaned(streaks in toilet). Plus there is an open air crematory within 400m of the hotel so I could only imagine the smell if it was in use while we pulled up to the hotel. We seen our room and decided not to stay. We have stayed in some questionable place over our world travels and this place was by far the worst place we have been. Staff didn’t care at all about our complaints. Expedia tried to contact them while I was at the front desk and wouldn’t answer the phone. I’m still waiting on Expedia for a refund.

I was swinging my bag off the bed and hit the floor fan which fell over and broke. I took it up to the front desk to report it. They told me I would have to pay for it and I was happy to do so, as I broke it. I asked for another one bc I am a fan sleeper and they told me they did not have any extras. Sadly I went back to my room. About ten minutes later a knock at the door. They brought me a new fan! Great staff all around! The location was decent but the road in needs a lot of love!

Most of Club Fiji's staff are truly wonderful but some are very lazy and the fiji time excuse is not acceptable when your bath towels are taken and you dont get replacement until late afternoon and you are faced with drying yourself with used clothing. The female public toilets are filthy and the toilet seats broken and extremely unsafe especially for the elderly and children. No one seems to care especially management who are eager for profits but run a dangerous resort with obviously no incentives for some staff to get important repairs done.
I am also annoyed at being placed in the ocean front bure with large gaps in the window slats that i needed to cover up for fear of anyone being able to see my very beautiful 18yo granddaughter getting undressed etc.
This resort FALSE AND DECEITFUL advertising claims wifi in rooms, laundry facilities, Tv in each room ALL FAKE AND DO NOT EXIST. Shame on the very wealthy and exploitative OWNERS/MANAGERS who enrich themselves at the risk of safe practice of a truly beautiful place with many beautiful and hard working employees. The owners house is very impressive and lacks nothing in security and maintenance but YOUR RESORT cannot even supply safe and clean public use toilets or adequate window covering to look after the comfort and safety of your clientele. SHAMEFUL!!!

Worst resort I've stayed at. Spend your money elsewhere. Dirty rooms and bedding is just the start. We found bed bugs and ants on the bed that had been 'cleaned'. A few days into our stay the water shut off and we had no running water the whole day. We asked for a different room by the receptionist multiple times but got rejected. We checked out early as we had enough of the place. With 2 days left on our booking we were told that we'd be refunded for those 2 days as we checked out early but now the resort refuse to take calls from Expedia who's handling the case and trying to get the refund, so we have yet to be refunded. Hope the owner or manager crawls out of that cave they're hiding in and make this right.

We reached the resort around 9.30PM in the night , all of us starving and the only dining option was to eat @ resort. The kitchen was closed by then, so the only choice was to place a custom order where we paid a premium price 30$ for a plate of veg fried rice(the most costliest veg fried rice of my life).and chicken noodles was 42FJD. We checked in to the room, pretty dusty which also has torn curtains with untidy sheets. We spotted a healthy spider on one of the side table, and lots of frogs in the corridor. The buffet at night was overpriced and terrible platter. The resort is secluded with a only choice to rely on the resort for commute to any other places you plan to visit. Most of the staff clearly lacked hospitability with a forced smile on their face We weren't expecting luxury as this was a last min choice and booking but this resort has terribly failed to offer the bare minimums in most areas.

The only reason I booked this was for my one day of holiday to chill next to the pool and they closed this for a tv show shoot. The staff weren't great, the massage I got from the massage lady lost my earring, and she was sick coughing and had to stop and blow her nose during the massage. I ended up having to get another hotel and lost my last nights fee on this place with no refund. The beach and palm trees and gardens were pretty.

We had unfortunate water problems our first two days. There’s also nothing really walking distance, so unless you have transportation you are “limited” to the resort. That said, we enjoyed the pools and beach, finding shells, good food, lovely staff. We had a very relaxing stay.

My wife was sick (wih a doctors certificate) so I asked them to transfer dates to a week later. They said they could but needed expedia to do it. '(Surprise wotif are owned by expedia)They didnt even try to contact expedia for us. Expedia didnt respond to me or Wotif and so we lost our money.
Dont book this place via Wotif they just want your money.
The addage is true these booking sites have a mantra:

The good: the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The natural beauty and views from the resort is hard to beat. The property has unlimited potential. The bar and seating areas are lovely and the pools are nice. Lots of places to sit and relax. The entertainment was good and the bartender at night was fantastic and friendly. We were lucky to be at the resort for Kava night where they provided free kava and it was a great time. There was a great range of other guests.

The bad: the rooms were dirty, lots of mold around the shower and bathroom. Lots of caked up dust in other areas, did not feel clean at all. When we first arrived there were tiny ants in the bed, the room smelt mildewy. The food was o k, all around 3-4/10, although the pizza was okay and the people serving in the pizza restaurant were very polite.

Although there were a lot of great qualities, I don't think this place is up to westerners standards, however some small changes would go a long way.

If I was reviewing this property after the first two days, it would be much more positive. It's a lovely property, and the staff were mostly very friendly, but the last two days were pretty bad.

I had great service right up until I invited a local from an Indian background for a drink at the bar, where the waitress blanked me and was overtly rude and dismissive, to the point where other guests asked her to serve me.

This same person was on breakfast duty the next morning, where the service was eaully indifferent, there were no plates, which I asked to be provided, and then also no glassed for juice. She started packing up the milk for coffee before I'd sat down with my breakfast.

The property is a bit isolated, so there is no shoip, bar or restaurant that isn't a tax ride away, and desipite this I was mostly happy, but that one member of staff ruined things oin the last 2 days.

We stayed here for 3 weeks. Hotel is on the beach with a public beach next to it. It's about a 30 minute walk to the other hotels and grocery store. This area is quiet, only for those staying at the hotel, so very few people around (which we liked).The staff was incredible and the bura view was absolutely lovely. The hotel had something going on most nights. The dinners were lovely with a pizza place on site too. We're from Canada, so we said if we ever ventured to this end of the world again, we would definitely do a layover again in Fiji and again at Club Fiji Resort!

If it wasn’t for the super impressive fire dancers and bar tender this would have been a much lower review. I won’t be staying here again. Quite dated property and not clean at all. Some dangerous nails, bolts, and broken flooring caused some minor injuries to our kids. Breakfast is very low standards and vibe overall is a bit off. The bar tender and fire dancers saved the day but still definitely will be warning friends and family not to stay here.

No atmosphere either but close to the airport , Denarau and Nadi town.
We basically got a taxi every day for coffee because they had no good coffee at the resort.

Bed bugs. Absolutely disgusting. The room was not as advertised on Expedia and was in terrible condition. Sheets were dirty bathroom was disgusting. We woke up at 3am to a horrendous smell in the room to only find hundreds of bed bugs crawling all over. We immediately left and thank god we had a car to stay in until reception opened at 7am. It was traumatizing and has ruined our entire vacation experience. All the reviews are fake as they have signs up saying “leave a review for free drinks”. Such a shame and I hope no one has to go through what we did. I wish I was able to upload the photos

Wouldn’t stay here again. Check in was slow - after a long day of travel we just wanted to eat and sleep. There was no key for the room and the spare key they provided did not work. The food was expensive and not cooked well. The room smelt of varnish and outside smelt like sewage. Mice in the room.

Will say the beach and outdoors area was lovely. Beautiful gardens, pool and seating area for the beach was great. Staff and cleanliness of our room very disappointing. Power points didn’t work. Had to unplug the fridge to use the one working power point. Floors were filthy. Bathroom yuck. Ceiling light broke off in the night. So glad we only booked for one night. I’m not one to leave a bad review but wish we had read an honest one before we booked there.

I advise people to seriously consider their stay here.
We arrived to Cockroaches in our room, the room booked was not what we received and was not fit for a family with young children to stay in, It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.
There was rubbish being burned onsite which filled the resort with very unpleasant smoke, only one food option was open which was not great quality and expensive, we lost all power to the room on the first day which was unable to be fixed.
we were moved to another room for the night but told there was nothing else available so we would have to go back to the original room.
we didn't agree and the booking agent spoke to the manager who agreed to refund if we checked out right away, we did this and now 3 weeks later are still fighting to get our refund.
The manager has been extremely difficult to get on the phone and when I finally did he denied having any conversation with the booking agent and said \"I don't care about your refund, your not getting it\"
I have been informed by a Fijian Friend that this resort has come under new management in January this year 2025.
Be very cautious and if you do book here make sure if you have issues get everything in writing before you leave.
This resort ruined our family trip to Fiji with poor customer service and us having to spend our holiday money to book other accomodation.
