For a Hilton brand we felt it was a little lacking in standard of service for the money.

The staff were great but seemed to lack a little direction at times .

Probably look at other options the next time we come to Fiji for the money we spent.

My wife and I stayed at Hilton Fiji resort for two weeks in march. We booked a one king bed ocean view with private plunge pool room. The room is absolutely massive almost 900 ft.² with wonderful amenities. I have to say that the gym was very well equipped, and all the pools on property are amazing. The lounge chairs are very comfy and all three of the restaurants on property are to die for. But make sure to go for your breakfast to Nuku with chef Tevita. He runs the kitchen wonderfully, by day three he was making my wife and I off the menu, breakfast platters with fruit and coconut pancakes that are to die for. The property is only 1.1 miles from the pier where you can book all your island expeditions and find even more wonderful places to eat, including bonefish. As far as the Hilton itself, the staff were so kind and amazing and they can help you with anything you need especially if you want to go shopping in town. I recommend getting the room upgrade for anyone traveling even just couples as you get a grill, refrigerator, kitchenette, and washing machine that can be so vital when you are staying at one resort for a week or more. Such a wonderful experience.

I stayed at Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa and accidentally left my iPhone charger in the room. When I contacted the hotel, I was told they checked but couldn’t find it.

This is extremely concerning — if it was left in the room, where did it go? It raises serious questions about how guest belongings are handled after checkout.

Very disappointing experience, especially from a hotel that claims high standards of service and accountability.

Resort is in dire need of renovation, with multiple issues/appliances falling apart etc. The kids don't care though, still loved it.

Staff lovely and helpful, but overwhelmed and desperately understaffed by the looks.

If price is ok and you have young children, its still a good stay, but would strongly recommend staying away if childless/older children in favour of other options until they sort themselves out.

Staff were very nice and polite, really accommodating. Our room was clean, light switches were a bit confusing in the rooms and sometimes didnt work but overall was a nice place to stay. Staff really accommodate for the kids, even brought out a small mattress when our toddler fell asleep at the restaurant giving my wife and I the opportunity to eat without holding him, they just did that without request.

Beautiful room with a washer and dryer! So handy considering the Fiji heat & humidity I was able to do some washing.
Stayed for a wedding at a neighbouring hotel. You cannot go wrong here!
Breakfast is delicious. Pools were great. I thoroughly enjoyed the walk throughout the resort.
Everyone is so welcoming and our stay here did not disappoint! Vinaka Vakalevu for the great Hilton hospitality.

The Hilton is very run down. Construction happening throughout the complex and outside. Our garden view was of the busy main walk way and construction site. The entry is very small. Some Staff are not the friendliest compared other 5 star resorts on the island. 2 of the pools looked like swamps with lots of leaves in the afternoon. The adult breakfast was average. Compared with other resorts on the island this was the most underwhelming and at the same price point. We had issues with room service with delays/ payment issues and it tasted awful. The room its self was unclean with mould in the shower and no extra toiletries compared with other 5 star resorts.

Ehhhhhh. We had a major issue checking in regarding room. After a day of writing to Hilton corporate , we finally were able to get the results we needed. Thank you GM Solte for your help and assistance. Staff all around 10/10. Food needs help as well as some areas of resort. Serum at the spa was excellent. I’ll visit again only for a few nights only do to the staffs hospitality .

Our beachfront room was spacious with kitchenette, bedroom nice and large, but unfortunately, due to lack of ventilation, there was a lot of condensation in the bathroom - leading to mould on tiles. Our key swipe failed on three occasions, and waiting for maintenance in the heat and humidity was not ideal. The plunge pool was magnificent, and we spent every day there. Buffet breakfast was always fresh and yummy.
The restaurants there are fantastic, with freshly cooked meals for any taste.

The staff are the most amazing part of your stay so like, accommodating and just happy you’re there. We absolutely loved the people who did room service. They always wanted to make sure we were all set. The only reason I didn’t give a perfect score was because we could see mold in the bathroom above the shower in some of the crevices. We upgraded to one of the nicest rooms and I know it’s damp there but I could smell the mold/mildew on our second to last day. It’s not something I blame the house keeping for but maybe the Maintnence team didn’t know about it we’ve seen this in many tropical locations but paying around 400 a night it should be close to perfect and Hilton should pay for that upkeep. We were grateful to get a noon check out since our flight wasn’t until 9pm - if we had Hilton status maybe we could have stayed longer, they let us stay and hang at the pool and grab food. The food was pretty good we loved the room service option. Would stay again just because of the people they made everything super seamless for you.

Cons: I’m not usually one to complain but we had an issue every day of our trip, from uncooked chicken served to our toddler to a hot water system in our room that sounded like a plane taking off (and turned on any time one of the rooms around us used hot water) so we had to change rooms when another room became available the next day.
We were incorrectly charged on nearly every bill so make sure to be very careful about checking the receipts before signing!
The lock on our door stopped working so we couldn’t get in without maintenance and on our final morning we booked a buggy to get us to the lobby with our bags that never showed up so we had to speed walk through the resort with bags, toddler & pram to check out and make our airport transfer.
Overall, I’m glad we did a visited other hotel restaurants & did a day trip so we know Fiji is beautiful, we just picked wrong with accom and would stay somewhere else next time even if it meant not having the separate living space during naps (which was the main selling point here).

As much as we love the Hilton Denerau..it’s now showing signs of needing some love and care..lobby walls to the rooms were all dirty,doesn’t give a nice feel of being a quality hotel. We were offered and payed for an upgrade,however the room was not worth what we spent . Ceiling fan not working,plug sockets not working,tumble dryer not working properly.door handles nearly falling off…not what we expected for a paid upgrade

My husband and I traveled to Fiji from Sydney and stayed for 5 nights at the Hilton. We booked a beachfront room- the view from the room was amazing.
The resort has a spa, gym, 3 main restaurants and 1 for snacks.
There is a buggy service through the resort every 5 minutes, since the resort is around 2.5 km big. This service makes moving around very convenient.
The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.
The spa services and food were on the expensive side, but that’s how everything on Denarau Island is.
We would highly recommend a stay at the Hilton.

This is a lovely hotel in Port Denarau . The rooms are spacious and the resort is spread out with excellent views ad access to the beach. Easy connection to the Marina ( use Bula bus) and island hopping.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. There are 2 main restaurants but we preferred Koro .

Staff are very helpful (mostly).

The Hotel could do with a better reception area ( looks a bit too simple compared to Sheraton next door).

The Nadi city centre is about 20 min drive and you will need to take a taxi ( fare vary with who you book and hotel one's are expensive ).

Overall the food was not up to the standard I’d expect at a resort like this. For instance, at the deli, fresh juices were advertised and my fresh pineapple juice was anything but. Upon returning the item, there was no apologies - the staff just took the glass away without a word. We did have an okay breakfast selection at Koro, however the lunch menu wasn’t great. We ended up eating outside of the hotel at Port Denarau.

The adult only area near Kori was amazing - very clean and relaxing. A bit of rain didn’t dampen

Our stay was very short so there was no need to raise the minor issues for the time we had.

The front desk staff were not too accommodating, didn’t go above and beyond. It was quiet season and I requested for a late check out since my flight was departing at 22:00 and check out was at 11:00am. The best they could do was an extra hour, with the alternative being that I paid $250. I had no option but to checked out at 12:00 and spend 10 hours at the airport! Mind you, I was embarking on an 25 hour journey back to the UK. This set a bad tone for my upcoming trip, made it extremely long and even more tiring. There was no welcome drinks, cold towel on my arrival however, I noticed that other guests were offered this on their arrival. Room telephone didn’t work despite telling the front desk staff. This meant that I had to travel from my room to the desk which was about 2km walk. Cleaning team often didn’t fully close my room door well after room service and I often came back to my room with lots of mosquitos as a result. This was also a security breach as anyone could have entered my room and stolen my belongings.

Our stay at the Hilton Fiji was excellent. The staff was super friendly, and would always greet you with 'BULA!' every time they passed by you........Grounds were well maintained, even through 2 tropical storms.........Room was good, clean. Buffet breakfast had lots of choices, and was clean as well. The adult pool was very nice, but the main pool was great also. Very warm.......Lot's of good activities to do. Cava ceremony, water aerobics, ceviche class.......Front desk staff, and bell staff were excellent. Always had great attitudes. Location was good, as you can walk to Port Denerau easily. Can also take local 'yellow' bus to Nadi and visit market and Indian Temple, which were both great! Would visit again, 100%.
