Pool wasn't open and we were not told. We would have booked a different hotel if we had known. Hotel is dark and very old fashioned. Breakfast is mediocre with limited range. Limited facilities in rooms (no USB charging). Gym is extremely old fashioned with limited old equipment. The hotel is really more 4* than 5* given the level of amenties and facilities.

The front desk was not helpful trying to check in..i was very early 1030? After overnight flight..check in is at 3. I asked if we had a chance of early check in. First person said they would check with housekeeping. I asked if they would call and let me know. No answer. I then told them i would check back with them around 12. Checked back at 12 . \"My\" room was not ready. Since she said my room i asked her what my room number would be. She couldnt tell me because it could change. She said she would check with housekeeping. I asked if she could call me. No answer. I told her i would check back..130 checked back..not ready . I told her we would be sitting in the lobby/lounge area. She said she would come get me when room was available.. she never did. I checked at 305. Room was ready.. room turned out to be room for person with disabilities, shower is open to toilet. Waited for this? .there was not one person waiting to check in while we waited for 4 and a half hours.so they were either lying to me or didnt care. Either way terrible experience. I understand check in is at 3. Dont string me along like i have a chance of getting in early and keep telling me your checking with housekeeping. Just be honest and say sorry we cant get your room till 3 and even though i was extremely tired and i would have been disappointed, i would have went in to toledo for a few hours. Room was ok. Toilet was wet after shower. The only good service was from the two young men in the bar area.

The hotel in terms of its physical building, amenity, rooms, gym, views and location is all faultless.

Also very good value for price paid. A genuine five star hotel for a very affordable price.

With the notable exception of a nice lady called Carmella, Service in the bar and restaurant was just woeful. For both lunch and dinner it took ages to be served. We pacifically ignored for about 45 minutes. Was not hospitable. It was just plain rude. This is the aspect that should be improved.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay but it was a shame that the easiest thing to do was the element that was lacking. Nonetheless, I would happily return again and pay for a better experience next time.

Nice hotel but the frontdesk / staff was very unresponsive. We had only one shower towel in the room for two and the A/C was not working. When we called the frontdesk, it took few mins for them to pick up the call and they said they will call us back in few mins and never called. We were so tired after the full day walking in the town that we dosed off into slept in a no so pleasant night.

A few min drive to the old town, this property provided a nice break from the large number of tourists. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great parking available below ground and the breakfast buffet was delicious with great variety.

Very attractive property and room. The hotel is not in walking distance of town. That being said, there’s a very nice walking trail nearby. The dining room service and menu was terrible for lunch and dinner. The breakfast was very good. The spa treatment was ok. Price was good but it was not a deep tissue massage. Also,you have to pay an additional 30€ to use the spa facilities even if you have a treatment. This hotel is a nice choice if you rent a car or cab into town and then relax by the pool (freezing) in the afternoons.

Room was very hot, air con not working but it was March and can’t open the window as noises Road. No pool as it was closed and you had to pay to use the Spa, extra €30 each which was not advertised. One day later remember that. we call to hotel They said there is no wallet in safe case. come back to hotel and call to police. it is very big issues. there is no camera in corridor. security people is unserious. hotel manager is un serious. There were several issues with this stay. First, check in/out extremely slow. Second, the hotel virtually empty except for a small Samsung Convention yet they put us in a third floor room directly above the outdoor Samsung party that went until 2 am! Had to change rooms at midnight. 3rd both restaurants were closed +they did not notify us at check in.Claimed food avail at bar but bartender said use room service. This is not at all an impressive performance.

This is a very agreeable, spacious and well-run hotel. The dining room and common parts are airy, comfortable and pleasing. The breakfasts are excellent. Our room was large and comfortable with a very large bathroom. There were a few little signs of wear and tear in the room which they should really deal with, but they were very minor in the scheme of things. The staff were all helpful to a fault. The hotel is a 5 minute taxi ride from the old town up on the hill, so be prepared to do that trip a few times. Taxis are quite cheap however. A very nice place to stay overall.

I stayed here 6-7 or years ago and I remember it being a lovely hotel, the bar service and food was great, however on check in so much detail was missed out and which left me trying to search for my own answers, the hotel has not been updated at all I would say since my last visit, carpets are tired TVs look like something from the arc, I was left flat as I had travelled out of my way to stay here on the back of a great stay last time, in short you won’t get value for money here :-(

This hotel is very stately and the main area is a work of art with stain glass ceilings. Having visited the hotel in early October, the pool was closed and the main dining room was not available on Sundays which was disappointing. Our room viewed over the river,, was large and will appointed.

Just Don’t stay here.

Bed was rock hard, super uncomfortable, surprising for a 5 star hotel. The AC turned warm in the middle of the night, even while set at the lowest temperature setting. Carpet was dusty and set off my dust allergies. Staff was slow and inefficient. Left a blanket inside my room and asked them to retrieve it after I checked out. It took them 40 minutes to bring it from lost and found to the front desk. Note that they said it was in lost and found within 10 minutes of me asking, it just took the manager 40 minutes to get it. I guess he was tired of his shift at the front desk and didn’t mind me waiting for something that should have taken 5 minutes.

A beautiful hotel with very nice amenities as well as location. The negative is the desk staff seemed inexperienced with their billing system as we were charged twice after prepaying on Hotels.com. They had no way to confirm payment although we showed them our hotel.com confirmation. We will not use this hotel again for that reason we are refuting the charges. Also their restaurant appears to serve pre-cooked microwave meals for dinner. Not good for the level of hotel they promote themselves to be.

Amazingly beautiful hotel. Marble floors throughout the whole hotel and perfect condition. It looked like a perfectly maintained castle inside. Great spacious rooms. Incredible breakfast. Staff went out of their way to take us places in their luxury limo. It was by far the best hotel we stayed at in our 3 month Euro holiday. We would stay there again for sure. Lovely hotel!

Lovely hotel..huge room with a nice private deck area. This hotel is out of the tourist area but they offer a free shuttle to the old town. They can seat 6 so you must reserve a time and the last pickup to get back to the hotel is 4:15. Very handy! We would suggest this hotel as long a you have a car to get there.

Beautiful clean hotel with nicely appointed rooms. The only issue my husband and I had was with the shower in our room. The hot water got turned off all of a sudden but upon calling the front desk, we were told it would be back. And it did but the pressure was really low and it wasn’t very pleasant.
Good breakfast buffet, 7.50 euro taxi ride to the city center.

The treatment at the reception was terrible considering the obligation of leaving a deposit or blocking amounts at the credit card as a guarantee for the extras, not the room charge, as it was paid up front.
The issue to tell you of blocking money as guarantee dispense immediately your sense of integrity and put you in a position as untrusted guest.
They did that very boldly, and although the hotel itself as a property is good, but the treatment at the reception staff is very aggressive most of all they are very proud of it and claims that this is the company policy.

For me as this happened twice, I booked 2 double rooms for 1 night, then we figured out, that it was short visit to Toledo, we decided to extend extra night to cover all the sight seeing, we suffered the same treatment again on the second day.

Finally most probably it shall be the last visit to this hotel, as long as such behaviour and the so called company policy remains.

The hotel is 5/10 minutes out of Toledo but the hotel minibus service worked well for us. But do book it as soon as you arrive as it is only a six seater; the service only runs to 5.15 on Friday and Saturday but we got a taxi back one evening and it was only €5. Lovely lounge, casual dining area and attractive gardens. Very large, quiet and well appointed room. Staff were good. Two very good meals in the casual restaurant and excellent buffet breakfast. Only negatives were: check in slow as only one person on, no shaded outside area and a very noisy conference taking up the whole of the lounge area for most of Saturday afternoon. But great value for the quality and definitely recommend.

Great breakfast but for visitors with jet lag it would be great to extend breakfast past 10:30am.
I addition to that, early checking for huestes coming from overseas with very early arrival flights rooms should be available sooner than 2pm. Or at least to be offered quite lounge areasntonrest. We were hours at the beautiful interior lobby but we wished we had a more private area to rest while waiting hours to get our room ready.
I feel the hotel is more a four stars hotel than a five stars hotel. The picking up and drop pool
towels was not ideal. Far simpler to have someone at the pool site for that.
Other than that just to say we truly enjoyed our stayed in spite those details.

Excellent stop-over while travelling from Asturias to the Costa del Sol. Beautifully situated on the outskirts of Toledo, with impressive views of the old city. Finely equipped bedrooms, very spatial, excellent quality bathrooms fittings. It would be perfect if there were access to a terrace for breakfast/evening meals, especially on warm summer's evenings. Overall, very satisfactory place to stay.

When we first came to this hotel, it seemed great. However, after settling into my room, I realized that there was a strong smell of smoke even though all rooms were supposed to be non-smoking. When we let the hotel staff know, they promptly switched our room while my family and I were touring Toledo. When I came back, I realized that in our new room the toilet flushing mechanism was basically falling apart but it was late and I was too lazy to say anything. I feel like both of these issues should have been caught by housekeeping and dealt with by the hotel staff before they let us stay in the room. Also the TV was quite old but worked great. Everything else in the room was fine. It was very big. As for the location, we had to drive into Toledo and park in order to visit the attractions. But for the little money that we paid, it was expected.

High class luxury at a 3 star price

Beautiful Classy Hotel, away from the tourist core and great service all around. Ample rooms, lots of space, reminiscent of a luxurios palace and to top it of...great food.
