Good overall experience. The hotel is in a quiet area. The gym is not much of a gym, there are no dumbbells or weights to use, mostly just cardio equipment. Staff were excellent!

We love this hotel, staff can’t do enough for you. It’s peaceful and in a quiet place to relax and enjoy their wonderful spa facilities! I’m a cleaner myself and their standards are unbeaten, full room cleaned everyday! Could not recommend enough, also great value for money

It was a very nice hotel with great facilities the pool area was especially good and always sun beds available our room was a family studio which was in a separate annex it was well laid out but the Bathroom was very small especially as I’m 6’4” tall the only real drawback back with the hotel is that it’s located up quite a steep hill and a 15 minute walk to the nearest supermarket if you’re self catering

We booked last minute and everything was perfect! Hotel crew welcomed us warmly, helped us a lot with destinations/maps/transports from and to the city.
We booked for one night and have been upgraded. We booked on spot another night and hotel kindly accommodated. Hotel even let us to do a lat check out to shower after Marathon race and even enjoy one more time the rooftop jacuzzi and balneo!

So, super staff, welcoming, arranging, good value for money, Top class place to stay!

This is a very special place. Peaceful in lovely grounds with an infinity pool to laze by. Everyone there was so helpful and nice and nothing seemed to much trouble to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel is up a quite steep hill, but walking down into Cannes is a pleasant walk of about fifteen minutes. Coming back was more difficult for two older people such as ourselves. The little bus was erratic, so we used taxis quite a lot, cost of which seemed to vary for no apparent reason! But this in no way detracts from the delights of this hotel. We hope to be back!

My room was a great size, and well-appointed/spacious and clean. Love the wardrobe area and large terrace, and the bathroom with a nice tub as well as shower. Dark-haired woman at the front desk was extremely rude on a few occassions. The lounge area is such a missed opportunity as it looks like a parlor in a senior citizen home. The furnishings were awful and the room was truly uninviting - I didn't see one single person ever using the room the whole week I was there. The Jacuzzi was great - once it was working and was warm enough.

The spa facilities were amazing, gorgeous view from the rooftop pool and jacuzzi!
The ordinary pool was so nice and quiet and also had a nice view, very peaceful.
A very relaxing hotel to stay in, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and fulfilled all our needs during our stay. The breakfast was lovely, and had everything we needed.
Close to Cannes beach fronts, only a 10 minute walk so very convenient for getting out and about but far enough away to be quiet and away from the business of the town.

La Bastide de L'Oliveraie is about a 15 minute walk from the Cannes' city center, in a quiet area. The room was a little small but the personal balcony and big bathroom are great. The breakfast is really nice.

Lovely location, not too busy, away from the crowds but close enough to get to trains, buses, shops etc. All within a 10 minute walk.
The room was very nice, very clean. Wasnt happy that the seperate toilet did not have its own sink....very unhygenic having to go next door to the bathroom to wash hands after germs have been spread on door handles and light switches. Friendly staff on reception but could have been more helpful when asked about any tours or excursions, was just told they dont have a concierge so I'll have to phone and enquore myself, despite knowing im a tourist from another country! The breakfast was fat too expendive for what was on offer. Thankfully the rooms have a kitchenette so resorted to buying grocery, would have preferred not to but €20 p.p for a very small selection of cereal, pastries, eggs and sausage wasnt worth it for the 2 of us every morning. Other than that, was happy with our stay.

The hotel was slightly out of town up in the hills, so peaceful and beautiful - everything was clean and smelt wonderful of herbs and lavender. Very helpful staff who let us come back and wash and change once we'd finished our racing. Breakfast was lovely - chef to prepare what you want, fresh oranges (you run the machine yourself!). Individual, huge attention to detail and nothing like a chain/centre of town hotel.

This is a lovely hotel, in fact I would call it is a calm oasis situated just far enough away from the busy downtown city area but still within easy walking distance from the main shopping streets and Cannes' famous seafront promenade and port area. This hotel has everything you could need for an enjoyable stay - there is secure on site parking (additional daily charge), an outdoor infinity pool and a roof top jacuzzi where you can take in the views, a small but well equipped gym and spa facilities (additional charge may apply for some services). There is a guest lounge with comfortable seating should you wish to use it and a quality breakfast is served in a brightly decorated dedicated dining area in doors or you can choose to enjoy your breakfast on an outdoor patio area which is wonderful on a warm sunny morning. We selected a superior room which came with a balcony with a lovely view over the swimming pool to the wooded hillside beyond. The room was very well appointed with a super comfortable bed with quality bedding, a quality wall mounted TV, fitted kitchenette with everything you might need for light cooking if you so choose and a Nespresso style coffee machine and kettle.. There was a luxury tiled bathroom with separate bath and shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water (which is always a good sign that the basics of a good say have been covered).

I wish to congratulate the Management for a first class product and giving us an enjoyable stay. 5*

Room was very nice with great bathroom and we were surprised by the additional 'hidden' kitchenette which was useful. Breakfast had a good choice. Free daily bottled water was a good addition. Hot tubs on the roof were lovely and views of the surrounding hillside were very good. Cleaning staff were excellent. Good selection of information about what to do in the area. Pool could've been a bit cleaner add a downside was the lack of any restaurant/pool bar for lunch or dinner, especially as nothing else that close. No free parking was also frustrating (think it was €15/night so we ended up parking on the street). Overall we would stay again.

Gem in the hills above Cannes

Lovely little boutique type hotel, very clean, rooms were spacious with lovely bathroom, large walk in shower, adequate kitchen facilities, very comfortable bed and lots of facilities including peaceful sun lounging area round the pool, 2 outside hot tub/Jacuzzi, spa area and balcony overlooking the pool. 15-20 min walk to town. The walk to town was downhill with a very slightly challenging up hill return but hey you are on holiday and after lazing about all day the exercise will be beneficial. Absolutely no hesitations about returning here, a hidden jem in the hills above Cannes. Absolutely perfect for just chilling, enjoying your surroundings and getting away from it all. We were travelling with our 2 adult sons and had the interconnecting rooms which were ideal, offering both privacy and the opportunity to be together.

A 'must stay' hotel with great views

Hotel was in a great location with easy access to Cannes centre. Staff were friendly and helpful on our arrival. We were given a lovely room with balcony overlooking Cannes, room was both comfortable and of generous size. We enjoyed the beautiful infinity pool, gym area and the romantic roof top jaccuzi was a real treat. Can't say anything other than great hotel.

Great that the hotel is away from the busyness of central Cannes and makes the 15 min walk to restaurants etc we’ll worth it. Suite was perfect for the 3 of us and the little kitchenette a bonus. Easy to spend a few hours relaxing by the lovely pool too.

Beautiful small hotel. Stayed in a classic room. The room was large and beautifully decorated. Spacious bathroom and small kitchenette which was handy as we made breakfast each day. Had all the essential equipment. Pool area was lovely and watching the sunset from the roof top Jacuzzi was awesome. 10-15 minute walk to promenade was grand, but most nights we walked over to the old town and marina so ordered an uber taxi to take us back up to hotel. This cost about 7€ so was reasonable and very handy. Loved our stay and hope to return!!!!

Very peaceful and relaxing

After a particularly hellish week of sick baby needing to be hospitalised (will spar details) we really needed somewhere to relax in comfort and this place was exactly what we were looking for. We got two adjoining rooms that were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The aircon was fantastic, really affective and quiet. Bathrooms were big and beautiful.
Pool was lovely and our room overlooked it.
If we’re back in Cannes we’d definiteky consider this place agsin

I would absolutely recommend this hotel, it's a beautiful place with lovely gardens and view.
It's also extremely clean.
If you're a little older, you may need to use a taxi or bus to get into Cannes, it's not far but the roads are up and down.

Superb, small, quiet and well located Cannes hotel

We spent a week in September and could easily have spent longer there. Room was lovely - king size bed (and clever in built kitchenette with fridge, microwave, hot plate) with a terrace that overlooked superb pool and gardens. There was also a beautiful bathroom, iron, ironing board, hair dryer. Air conditioning worked well.

Spa rooms are beautiful, so clean (as is the whole hotel) . Everything works including a roof terrace jacuzzi which was a delight. Staff are very helpful and friendly and just go about their business quietly and efficiently. It is all so calm.

Continental Breakfast at 15 euros might seem a little expensive but 6 mornings out of 7 we chose to have breakfast there, so that tells you something. Fresh orange juice, fresh breads, cheese, meats, eggs, fruit, yoghurts, melon, coffee tea - self service - excellent.

There is no restaurant for lunch/dinner but Cannes town centre is 10 mins walk away and full of options. We were able to have a drink on the terrace after returning from evening dinner in Cannes as Reception is staffed 24/7 and there is complete security cover in/out of the hotel. It felt very safe.

We would recommend this hotel very highly

Huge disappointment

Upon arrival to the hotel, wed discovered that they had booked us into the wrong room. When I notified reception, they'd informed me that the room choice I'd selected was no longer available and compensated the mistake with breakfast. This seemed all ok until we discovered the next morning what breakfast involved!!! There was NO cups or mugs or plates. After trying to ask the one guy running the breakfast room for a cup or a mug or plate so we could have a drink and pick some food, a guest eventually had to step in to translate. When we did finally get a plate there was no food - baring in mind we came to breakfast an hour before finishing time. We settled for toast and finally had a croissant after management stepped in and made the guy running the kitchen make some extra croissants. What's worse is that this breakfast is €15 a day per person and the food selection is diabalacle. this was the case for 3 mornings. The swimming pool is small but nice. Rooms were cleaned extremely late - I'm talking 3/4pm! There were a couple staff that just never smiled but a friendly lady (I think management which was nice). Overall, we may have just got unlucky but would I recommend - no.

Excellent hotel, approx 15 mins walk to beach front, down hill. Facilities lovely and staff very friendly. However please note if travelling with child that you check that your children are include in the price with the hotel, not what Expedia may think you have booked, definite flaw in the system. In effect you pay twice - be careful.

Very nice decor and facilities. Lovely and quiet neighbourhood, though location may not suit guests who don't have a car, and don't like walking. Bus service nearby, but infrequent or off altogether at times. Taxi from Gare/Hotel de Ville area only 7 euros until later evening. The birdsong while sitting on the terrasse or by the pool, was so much more pleasant than the typical traffic noise that's hard to escape in the center.

A great place to stay in Cannes

They are still finishing off the hotel but this didn't cause any disturbance. Parking can be a bit challenging if you have a big car as parking is limited to everyone ends up double parking. The pool and poolside is small ish but is perfectly adequate. The rooms are excellent, the beds are really comfortable, the kitchenette is exactly as described, the bathrooms are a good size and everything is really nicely decorated and very new. When I stayed the hotel had only been open 5 days. The staff and owners are all really helpful and very welcoming. The hotel is around a 10 minute walk from Cannes centre, easy reach of restaurants and bars but is in a nice quiet area.

C'est un charmant petit hôtel, niché dans les hauteurs de Cannes, au milieu des arbres et de la verdure, baigné de calme et de silence. On se croirait en pleine campagne, alors que l'on n'est qu'à 10mn à pied de la Croisette.
Mon séjour y fut agréable et confortable, grâce à \"la bonne fée\" Tatiana, qui veille avec grâce et grand professionnalisme sur les lieux et s'assure du bien-être des clients.
Toute l'équipe qui travaille à l'hôtel est de la même veine: Isabelle, toute en douceur et en finesse; les gouvernantes Olga, Natalia et leurs collègues qui maintiennent les chambres et les locaux, hyper propres et bien rangés.
Sans oublier les jeunes alternantes, qui ont le désir de bien faire et de rendre service.
Bref, je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

We stayed here for 4 nights, the location is in the northern part of Cannes and the city can be reached within 10 min walk, but be aware it is very uphill.
The hotel itself is some years since it could be categorized as a 4 star hotel. We stay in many hotels around the world every year and this is far from what is expected for a 4 star. Hard beds, worn rooms where several things are either completely worn out (sofa bed) or broken (soap dish, coffee maker, drain in both bathroom and kitchen sink)
We stayed in room no. 12, and left a few cups / plates, and did not empty the waste bin resulting in an extra bill of 25€, this would never happen at any other 4 star (Note there was a small sign with this in the room, so the fault for not complying with this is ours)
So book this for the price but do not expect anything close to a 4 star

Hébergement très propre et calme. Très bien équipé avec la piscine, le jacuzzi, la balnéothérapie et les services du spa.
Inconvénients : les senteurs positionnés un peu partout dans la chambre sont beaucoup trop forts et désagréables. Nous les avions enfermés à part pour diminuer les odeurs mais cela restait relativement prenant. D’autre part, cet hébergement propose des places de parking très limitées et l’accès est très étroit.

Supert hotell i gangavstand fra Cannes sentrum

Vi følte oss velkommen fra første øyeblikk. Varm velkomst i resepsjonen av to hyggelige damer som snakker godt engelsk. De tok seg tid til å vise oss vei til rommet, det er ikke vanlig.
Rommet var utmerket rengjort og smakfult innredet. Tydelig at det er pusset opp ganske nylig.
Stort pluss for separat bad og toalett.

Bildene på hjemmesiden viser tydelig hvor fint det er her, så jeg beskriver det ikke.

På veien opp her kan man lure på om man kjører riktig, for noen av nabohusene ser ut til å trenge kjærlig omsorg, men fortvil ikke. På toppen av bakken åpenbarer det seg en oase av en hage, og der inne ligger hotellet. Området er stille og rolig, det oppleves merkelig at det er så stille når man er 10min gange fra Cannes' hovedgate.

Frokostbufeen er rikholdig til å være et lite hotell, vi savnet ikke annet enn litt grovt brød. (grove bakevarer er uansett vanskelig å oppdrive rundt Middelhavet, så det var ingen overraskelse)

Vi gir 5 av 5 stjerner, og kommer garantert tilbake :-)

A hidden oasis of perfection

We stayed for four nights and it was absolutely wonderful.. Beautiful rooms and a lovely pool area. Everything spotlessly clean and well maintained. Nice and tastefully presented breakfast buffet. A hidden oasis of perfection on the outskirts of Cannes city center. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Highly recommend!

On nous a réservé une nuit avec un massage et l'accès au SPA. Nous avons rajouté une nuit supplémentaire pour compléter le WE.
Cela a été fabuleux. L'emplacement est idéal pour aller à la Croisette (15mn à pied donc pas besoin de prendre le véhicule).
L'hôtel est magnifique et très propre. Que dire du personnel, tout simplement agréable et très serviable. Pour finir, le massage a été pour moi et mon épouse, un moment magique. On vous masse sans vous parler et essayer de vous vendre des produits. C'est vraiment votre moment de quiétude. Ce sont des artistes !
On y reviendra...

Quiet area, nice garden and lovely pool with view over the hills behind cannes . Not crowded and always room by the pool. Sometimes we even had the pool to ourselves. We also used the spa area with the rooftop pool (due to covid this was booked so we were there alone when we were there).

Was a bit surprised that there was no restaurant in the Hotel in the eveneing ( offered only breakfast), so had oviously missed that information beforehand. One of the days we ordered takeaway as severeal restaurants offer that service, and that worked fine.

Bien surtout ne pas réserver une chambre classique j’ai dû payer plus chère pour changer de chambre la chambre classique est pas dans le bâtiment principal qui est moderne ,juste en face une ancienne villa très humide et
Semi enterré très sombre Se trouve les chambres classique j’ai eu l’impression d’être puni et de ne pas faire partie de l’hôtel après avoir changé de chambre de niveau supérieur le bâtiment les prestations le personnel tout était parfait un peu cher le parking à 15 € Par jour Il y a de la place à l’extérieur

Bon choix qui permet d’aller dans le centre à pied

Hôtel familial
Grande chambre, très propre et coin cuisine très pratique
La balnéothérapie et le jacuzzi sur le toit sont top et la vue est très belle, le nombre de personnes est limité à 6 ce qui est sympa, pensez à réserver au moins une heure par jour!
Les communs ( salon, salle du petit déjeuner, piscine, jardin côté colline...) sont propres et fonctionnels, il manque une petite touche déco pour donner plus de charme.
Nous avons essayé le petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse commune et avons trouvé plus sympa de le prendre sur la terrasse de la chambre.
