Room is not super spacious. Shuttle buses to airport and Tung Chung Station are convenient. Would recommend if you are staying for 1 or 2 nights.

This was a nice hotel, convenient and allowed us to visit parts of the city on our layover. We had a great time in Hong Kong!

However, when booking through Expedia the app bumped my stay into the next day on the calendar. When I let the hotel know about this mistake they asked us to request a change with Expedia and they would honour it. We were told we had to go ahead and book the other room and pay with the expectation we would be reimbursed. After we had already stayed there the night, they did not honour that statement and I was charged full price for a night I never intended to book. This was a combination of Expedia and the front desk staff. I should not have been charged because an issue with an app.

Convenient for flights, but small rooms
Best thing about Regala Skycity is the free shuttle, runs to the airport every 30 mins and also to a nearby metro station, super convenient for transit. Everything else was okay. Only downside: rooms are very small. Fine for 1 night before/after a flight, but tight if you’re staying longer.

Love the hotel. Close to the airport with an indoor walkway to Terminal 2. Staff were friendly. Provides frequent free shuttles to the nearest MTR station and the airport. Also has a large lobby and 2nd floor that allows you to hang out and eat without being in your small room.

I think we were upgraded but wasn't informed about it.The check in person just told us about the breakfast which we were not interested. However, we found the room larger than normal which we prefer. It is also nice to have the toilet separated from the shower cubicle.

We did not want a meal meal but a warm light meal. The menu in the downstairs bar was not too our taste and expensive.
The Vivaca bar on the third was not open and would only open with a prior booking.
This left us with only vending machines with a poor choice.
There was an empty refrigerator in a cupboard.
The hotel information on the tv was all adverisements but no real information about emergency procudures.
An emergency fire alarm went off at 1pm in the morning. This was very worrying as we were on the 12th floor and knew we could not use a lift in a fire. We did not know how to proceed. We rang the service desk and they said it was a false alarm and we did not need to evacuate.
We wanted to use the roof terrace in daylight to take photos before we left the hotel at 7:45 am but the access was locked.

Shuttke is fine. Tiny rooms, no food access except hotel restaurants which serve limited and bad food at about 3x to 4x the price. Should have stayed in town and take a taxi out.

We stayed at the Regala Sky City as a stopover to London. Whilst the room was clean and the staff were nice I thought the Rooms were very small and box like & the Room reeked of smoke which seemed to be coming from the Air Conditioning ( although these were apparently No Smoking rooms ) and I found it very uncomfortable breathing in smoke all night. The Hotel does have a shuttle bus to and from the Airport & Shops.
We had booked there as a stopover on the way back to Australia, but cancelled because we didn’t like it - we stayed at the Marriott Sky City which was so much better, much bigger room, no smoking smell.

Rooms are very small. The ventilation is so bad that after a shower, the moisture never left the room and got the floor all wet in the whole room. The AC was so loud and never stopped buzzing, which kept us up all night when really needed a good sleep before getting on a long flight the next morning. The beddings smelled very bad of dampness. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Not sure when this property opened. It is in as new condition. Room was not large, but made perfect use of available space. Perfect for a night in transit at Hong Kong International Airport. After receiving booking confirmation the hotel provided very specific information regarding the free shuttle along with other options to get to the property. Shuttle worked well in both directions.

Shuttle access could have been easier. The desk in arrival hall did not have any pictures or know the exact signage words to navigate nor.
Room was very clean amd nice view. Provided water machine in hallway and bottle in room which is good eco choice.
Shower/bathroom leaked into walking area.
Downstairs restaurant had not food and not even 8pm so had to go upstairs and pay much more. Sadly, had to leave before i could see breakfast.

Bright and airy rooms. We were on the 11th floor and enjoyed a lovely view over the sea. Shuttles were good and punctual and we took it to go to Tung Chung for our evening meal and an early one to go to the airport. Staff were polite and efficient. Definitely will stay there again.

I picked this hotel for an overnight stay as my flight arrived Hong Kong at 11:00pm and would like to stay a hotel safely. They provide hotel shuttles after midnight.
However, it would be nice if they could put the shuttle bus pickup point on the website.
I re-booked this hotel one more time when i left Hong Kong.

This hotel is very new. The room is relatively small, but it is amazing that they designed everything to fit it. It was a surprise to discover this and that in the one-night transit stay. It would be good if they had brief notes / diagrams to show the content. For example, the location of the closet inside the shower and the hair-dryer/ (^^). They picked up guests after midnight.
I booked the hotel again a few days later because I had an early flight. Therefore, I don’t need to wake up at 4am in the morning. I was staging in a bigger room the second time as it is only a10-minute drive from the hotel to the airport.

Hotel was very good. 3 minutes from airport - if shuttle bus is not convenient with timing, be sure to take the Blue taxi. Beware that alot of the blue taxis only take cash...i was lucky and got a credit card payment taxi
After 12 hour flight, check in was quick, room quite small but everthing that's needed is there. If not, you can message for extra items
Food in the bar in the lobby was very good

The staff were accommodating and friendly. We were in transit and needing to sleep; the rooms were great, swiftly prepared and exceptionally clean. We slept! Our only disappoint was the high tea that camd with our bookjng. We were expecting a high tea with cakes/clubs sandwiches/savouries/champagne/tea. Instead, we got a glass of wine and after half an hour wait 4 small dim sum each, which we shared. When you promise a high tea, an expectation is set. Aside from that, everything was great.

The rooms are unbelievably small. Thankfully it was just a one night stay but a warning to everyone thinking of booking a longer stay. We could hardly even open our suitcase - there was nowhere to put them!

Very small room, suitable for solo travelers needing a layover before a morning flight. The room was very small soni couldn't imagine spending more than a night, as you can barely open one suitcase.
Yet, the room was very comfortable and quiet. It's close to the airport but you can't walk there, you have to take a shuttle bus back and forth.
In summary, excellent value for money for a solo traveler needing a layover night.

My only problem was checkout.... there were a few of us lined up to check out or in.. but they kept taking people who wanted to checkout without lining up.. they just walked up and gave them their cards which still took time.
