Front desk support is nice & friendly. Housekeeping and cleaning of room is more like a 2 star hotel. Hotel & rooms are a bit old and can use refurbish. Example: my chair was broken but I was told there were no more room chairs 😳. Rooms are small but comfortable You get what you pay for in Homg Kong 😅

There’s no self serve laundry, but the laundry service is fine and inexpensive. Everything is fine except when the group tour guests arrived, the lobby is quite chaotic. Room for improvement: power outlet near the bed.

The room we assigned were terrible. After seeing the room, I immediately had to go speak with the receptionist that the room was so small with the space between the two twin beds is very narrow. Toilet ver awkward. Welcomed by mosquitoes. And lack of electric plug-ins no USBplug in either

My stay in this hotel was very pleasant. There were a few problems, the lack of suitable power points at the head of the beds and the internet dropping to substandard speeds. Other than these, my stay was comfortable and I loved the view ( if you like watching container ships dock, unload and load, and tug boats and maritime activity and vessels ). The hotel is perfectly priced and I’d be very happy staying there again. The 88F & 88G green minibuses performed an excellent service and do enquire of the hotel staff at check in if you are not familiar with these buses.

Bed is so dirty and my daughter had a rash all over her face after spent a night there. Floor is also dirty. The bathroom door close the door on my sister, it almost broke her fingers. My oldest daughter was struggling to open the bathroom door.

On checking in, the staff didn’t give much information. We were given keys to our room and that was it. I had to ask about dining options, no offer was made to help with luggage. We once stayed out a little after eleven and when we came back with the bus the entrance from the convenient stores were closed off and we had to walk all the way around, I had no problem with this since it seems to be a safety measure but a heads up from front desk on check in would have been nice to avoid the stress of walking that distance so late to get in. It was then we were told they closed off at 11pm- 6am 🙄. I tried calling front desk from my room 3 times the phone just rang without answer, when I got downstairs 3 representatives at the desk only one dealing with guest, why wasn’t anyone else answering the phone? The hotel is close to airport, convenient ride to Disney and have restaurant, 7-11 , supermarket and pharmacy on the ground floor. You will need to access some form of transportation for anything else. Our rooms were quite small and the head board area facing the window could do with some cleaning.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rambler Garden. The staff was courteous and gave us a free upgrade. The room was neat and clean. The swimming pool is one of the largest in Hong Kong and was great, even with the $40 HKD extra charge.

On the other hand, dining options was rather limited, with only a Chinese fast food restaurant in the mall beneath the hotel (Cafe de Coral).

The Chinese tourists staying in the hotel are noisy. Hair dryer didn't work but they provided a plug in one that worked. Air conditioner cold and needed air filter cleaning. The front desk and room service people are nice.

Good budget option, staff are friendly and helpful, housekeeping is good! Mini bus just outside of hotel 88F/88G transport links to MTR is convenient, it’s a bit out of the busiest part of the city which is lovely in the evenings.
The building looks a bit tired but well maintained, you get what you pay for, good value for money, will definitely use again.

The staff was very friendly, but reaching them by phone—especially to notify them of a late arrival—was difficult. However, I was able to contact them through Expedia.

The hotel is well-connected for transportation, with many buses and shuttles providing reliable access to Central, Hong Kong Island, and other areas. The A32 bus offers a direct route from the airport, and there are also connections to the airport train. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near an underground mall and shopping area.

Overall, this hotel serves its purpose as an affordable, no-frills stay. I would stay here again.

Basic hotel with furnishings that match price point. Good quality towels. Had to change rooms because shower was faulty otherwise good water pressure. Cheapest rooms are tiny so if you are claustrophobic, I recommend upgrading room.

On 19th floor, very noisy. Top of wardrobe i discovered greasy froction dust on top. I have photos. Swapped to 30th floor which was nice and quiet. The bathroom sink was cracked and held together with protruding sealant. Top of wardrobe was dusty also.

This is a great hotel. I stayed 4 nights. Excellent, friendly staff. Use of gym at the Rambler Club. Clean and a decent size room. Hotel sits atop of a small shopping centre. Supermarket, 2 restaurants and a couple of more shops. Pleasant 25 minute walk to MTR and Maritime Square along a wide Promenade. Also green mini buses outside hotel and KMB buses a short walk across road from rear entrance. Disappointed I didn't stay a couple of more nights to use as a base to visit outlying areas.

Not convenient area. But there is a convinience store Seven Eleven. It’s not 24 hours.
Hong Kong station is far a little bit. So we often use taxi and public transportation.
Hotel staff is impolite a little. But hotel price is cheaper than urban area.

I think it’s a good option for budget travelers. The room was clean. The only issue was the leak in the bathroom but nothing that couldn’t be covered with a bath towel. You do get a lot of travelers from mainland China and they are loud and stare a lot but tbh so does everyone so it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us. If you are traveling to celebrate something special then this ain’t the place for you unfortunately

This place is not really for western folks in my opinion. This place mostly caters to guests from mainland. We booked family room but what we got was 2 rooms next to each other with no shared door. So you have to go out to go from one room to the other. Next our rooms had strong smell of smoke. We were told although rooms are non smoking. Some
Guests don’t follow the rule and smoke indoors. We asked for change but they had large mainland tourists arrive that day and took over most of the hotel. The only thing i really liked was the gym and sauna. Pool was good but closed in November. In summary, if you are a westerner you might be disappointed but everyone is different. I being from USA was underwhelmed by the experience.
