Convenient walk foodie and shopping. Unfortunately myself firstly room air conditioner wasn't working. Front desk sent a technician to check and there's no problem but the air is 27 degrees Celsius. Considering it was not working well. I was upset with the front desk giving me excuses due to the direction of the window.
That's a ridiculous reason.
These are my second time staying. 2024 and 2025. But I would not 2026.

Amazing and good service. Super convenient to get to pulic transportation, restaurants any shopping mall. Except little upsetting with a deluxe room seems like a standard room sized. With luggages, hardly have much rooms to be comfortable. Also,needs more lighting. Carpet and shower need to be considered.

Always a very fast check-in and check out experience at this hotel. Friendly staff throughout.

Clean and new furnishings inside.

I do suggest that they test and change the position of the TV, as they are mounted on the wall so high the screen appears very black if you try to watch from the bed.

This is my favourite hotel in Tsuen Wan.

The bed is very hard. The room has an uncomfortable smell which gave me an headache once I have been there. In terms of hygiene, it has some anonymous stain left on the blankets and the towels are smelly too. Booked two nights for the stay but gotta check out after the first night due to the massive discomfort.

Only 5-10 Mins. by walk to MTR. Tsuen wan station exit B. and not far from the A31 bus stop to the Airport. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel provided a mobile phone to use during our stay and they have a free shuttle bus service to many places. Many convenient stores and restaurants around there.

The bed sheet looked poor, a little area of sheet is decolorized. The area under the toilet at bathroom is wet, but not a big area. The cup on shelf in bathroom is dirty, I saw some dirt there. It seems that it’s not changed to washed one. The receptionist staff was impolite, his speech was fast and unclear, without any smile. The double bed is small for me. With this $400 price, well. So far so good. Thanks

Response was immediate for any issues we had. There was a leak in the ceiling which they fixed right away. The only issue we had is that the attendants kept forgetting to leave us soap but it was rectified right away when we called. Pretty good hotel for a 3 star.

+ It is the only hotel in the area near MTR.

Upon check in the front desk clerk was very rude. He treated me like i was stupid and had a horrible attitude. We prepurchased breakfast which was a horrible idea. Everything was empty. We waited a good 20 minutes before going to the front desk and requesting a refund. The room was very small. I wouldnt stay here again.

5 mins walking from MRT station, safe area

It seems most of room don't have good sound insulation. Two rooms i stayed this time can clearly hear noise from inside(water pipe) from outside(next room, from aisle, from street) Except of the mini room size, poor sound insulation is the only disadvantage of this hotel.

Silka Far East Hotel covers most of the basics quite well. The housekeeping crew is especially wonderful, always accommodating, always helpful. The rooms can be very tight for those of us over 6' tall. Also the lighting in the rooms leaves much to be desired. The crew at the front desk can be quite helpful, although they can be aloof. My recommendation is based upon the complete lack of viable competition!

Room is very small and not very clean. Stains on duvets and mattresses. Towels tatty and overused, holes in them. Shower very small and not enough room to turn around in. Wouldn't stay here again or recommend to a friend, not sure if worth the room rate.

I've stayed at the Silka Far East in Hong Kong before, but was sadly disappointed this trip. The room is tiny - I wonder where they got mattresses this short? The lift/elevator is half out of commission - meaning waits of 5 to 10 minutes to vacate the 15th floor. And, now they have informed me that they will more than double my rent if I choose to stay another nght. Well, that is a pain, but the lack of comfort in the room makes the choice inevitable.

Have stayed at this hotel before. This latest stay was less than satisfactory. We have found bugs in the room, and have to change room afterward.
There were days house keeping forgot to give us soap, disposable slippers or newspapers
Soap dispenser not working, we were give small tubes of liquid soap and hair cleanser/conditioner
Shower walls were seen with dirt marks between tile to tile joints
There were not enough towels for two occupants

The rooms are a little smaller then I thought but the best thing is the hotel location. The receptionists st the front counter are not friendly at all most of the time especially the girls doesn’t want to help . STAYED AT THIS HOTEL SEVERAL TIMES, THERE IS AN ISSUE THAT APPEARS IF YOU ARE CHINESE, OR EVEN CHINESE LOOKING YOU GET BETTER RATE, THEY HAD A SPECIAL PRICE FOR ROOM INCLUDING BREAKFAST THAT I COULD NOT RECEIVE. Loved the location of the hotel. There is literally everything around the hotel. The room was in great condition as well. Small in size but very welcoming and comfy.
But, there was some problem with the safe box and we also found some used papers in the drawers.

Apart from that, very friendly staff and had a great stay! Definitely coming back in the future.

Really SMALL room.....

The room is really really small.... The toilet is pathetic.. You couldn't even seat comfortably to do your business.. The shower area......sigh.. think its about or less than 1sqm.. stand there do nothing and let the shower spray rain on you is ok, but once you try to soap yourself, you will hit every wall and shower curtain...never think about bending or squatting... There isn't double queen size bed. It is only a large single bed!! The front desk customer service never smile and seems like you shouldn't be there... The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It is very close to mtr, eateries and shopping malls.. Airport bus stop directly along the road beside the hotel. However you need to walk a distance and cross an overhead bridge to the bus stop going to the airport.
