The hotel was fine until…we were given an occupied room upon check in! We went up and the room was clearly still being used. When we told the desk attendant, she looked confused and asked if we were sure…(seriously?). There were used towels in the floor and someone had just taken a shower because the room was humid. She assigned another room and then escorted us to the new room to make sure it was vacant. (As two adults who were set to get some R&R, our focus was NOT on playing games with the hotel staff!) Prior to going upstairs, I asked about the valet parking and if there were any other options available. The valet attendant confidently said Cambria’s fee was $39 per day but there was a public parking lot close by but you would be subjected to an hourly fee. Upon further investigation and $78 later, the public parking deck adjacent is $9 per night and the EXACT location where Cambria valets guest cars!
After all of those shenanigans, Sumaya provided excellent customer service by adjusting the bill without hesitation or unnecessary hassle.
Overall, Cambria was okay. I’m not sure if I would stay at this location again, if so, I definitely wouldn’t use the valet service!
