We really enjoyed our stay. We were minutes drive away from the walled city. Property is across the street from the Cartagena sign at the Beach. And the coffee and chocolate crossaint are so good.

Overall it was a nice room but we couldn’t get to the balcony due to plants the moment you open the sliding door, the hotel location is good right in front of the Cartagena sign, and about 5 minutes away from the airport

Great experience!!!!
Our check in was a little late(10pm), but it was nice and smooth. Location was perfect, the roof top amazing, with a nice pool and jacuzzi, decoration so beautiful with a nice Bar so you can buy drinks, cocktails and snacks.
Our apartment had a beautiful ocean view, with balcony, big bedrooms and bathrooms.
Highly recommend!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Cartagena. The ocean view from the suite was beautiful, waking up and seeing the water every morning was a highlight. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

The staff stood out the most. Everyone was friendly, responsive, and helpful whenever we had a question. They made the experience feel easy and welcoming.

The location is very convenient, close to La Ciudad Amurallada and Bocagrande, which made it simple to explore. The immediate surrounding area feels a bit older and not as polished, but it didn’t take away from our stay.

Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel was very nice. We had a one bedroom suite. It had everything you needed if you wanted to stay in and cook. It was a 10 minute ride to the old town. The rooftop pool was great. The stuff of the bar on the rooftop was amazing. Lorena and Deimer are amazing. Always with a smile and nice to chat with.

This place is a gem in Cartagena. Although the neighborhood was a bit scary at night just because it is a ghetto area. I highly recommend to use uber services to get around everywhere, which is very convienent to do. Despite that, this place felt very secured inside, beautiful and very clean rooms. Has a cute coffee shop that makes great coffee. Its also right in front of a beach which wasnt very appealing to swim in. There is beach port nearby that can take you to beautiful beaches in the coast of Colombia that is a must during your stay!!

I contacted the property by email in advance to see if it was possible to do an early check in but no one responded. There was a leak on top of the bed and woke up all wet “disgusting”. The iron wasn’t working neither the hair blower. There was garbage in the kitchen from the previous occupants. I ask for clean towels at 10 am and got them at 6:00 pm after many contacts to the receptionist. 😡 Also I try to buy a breakfast and pay with a 50,000 pesos bill and told me that they didn’t have change and that they can’t serve me. I was on the 9th floor and the loud music at night from the terrace and the “chivas” on the road all night was super loud, so was impossible to sleep. The place is nice but the service was horrible!

The room was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned. We enjoyed the ocean view from our room and having a kitchen with full fridge.
We enjoyed the rooftop pool and having occasional appetizers and drinks there. Even on hot days there was always a comfortable breeze on the rooftop.
We had no difficulty finding the location and a security guard was always present. We were always warmly greeted by the staff whenever we returned to the hotel.

Overall quality was designed with beauty, but very low quality and was old and falling apart.
The hotel safe didn’t work, stains on the table, ect…
If I had a guest after 8PM it would cost double per night extra
The location of the hotel is horrible, right on a major highway, and nothing in the neighborhood except the Cartagena sign which you’re done visiting in 10 minutes.
I thought the proximity to the beach was a plus, but Cartagena’s beaches aren’t where people go, they are kind of gross. Everyone takes a boat trip to the Rosario Islands.
I observed all of this in 20 minutes, they refused to cancel my booking, so I booked a last minute hotel in the Centro neighborhood – walled city. I ended up paying for 2 hotels this trip, but the new hotel was amazing!!! (casa la cartujita)

Noise from renovation start way too early , and people with room at the back are subject to extremely loud music coming from a nearby club/ house. Security very friendly and helpful, but the desk girls aren’t always helpful and I think that could be due to limited English. I also think a little more attention to room upkeep should be exercised and not only available for payment. Decent spot but the area and beach have zero to offer , I’d recommend searching out a different area. Although psssable , I’d not return or recommend, with so many better options.

The place was excellent, the service was great, and they attended to my needs super quickly. The room was decent, perfect for resting since we didn't spend much time in the room. Overall, I loved it! It has everything: a coffee shop for breakfast or snacks, lunch options, and a bar. The terrace was incredible, and it's in a great location, in my opinion. No complaints!

I liked the room and the staff. I wish the shower looked a bit cleaner, as it almost looked like mold on the edge of the floor, but the country is very humid. The rooftop pool is great, but the jacuzzi was not hot at all and the pool was actually warmer. The staff were super nice and I appreciated the 24 hour security very much. Wasn’t a big fan of the cafe downstairs food, but again, the staff were very friendly and I got great work done down there while having a great view of the beach!

We really liked the place, ambience and staff. The main drawback is the super busy road out front that you have to cross to get to the lovely beach. This is the same for all properties in the area and wish the authorities would restrict traffic speed, or make cars adhere to pedestrian crossings, which they totally ignore.

The food at the hotel was honestly very good. The only thing about this hotel that I did not like was that you had to pay a 16 dollar fee to have your room cleaned everyday or which ever days you wanted it cleaned. But other than that everything else was great.There staff was also super nice.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was not satisfactory. The door to my room was damaged, and there was no way to access it from the hallway. The only “solution” offered was to enter through the connecting door of another room, a situation that is completely unacceptable and compromises the guest’s safety, privacy, and comfort.

Despite the seriousness of the issue, no form of compensation was offered, nor was an appropriate solution provided. This type of failure reflects a lack of proper maintenance and poor management when dealing with serious problems. I expected a much more responsible response consistent with the level of service the hotel claims to offer.

The staff at this hotel are really nice and helpful. The ladies at the cafe and the pool bar were very warm and friendly. The girls at the spa were amazing when I got my massage. The maids and cleaners were always smiling and would greet you. Rooms were clean, bathrooms are concrete floors but clean and sanitary. The food at the cafe and pool bar was pretty good and there are other hotels and restaurants within walking distance. You are also a USD $5 cab ride away from El Centro where you can walk easily and safely around to restaurants, cafes, and shops. It’s right across from the beach and a huge Cartagena sign for photos and beach life. Beach across from the hotel is only a 6 out of 10 but I may be a beach snob. There is a beach that you can do a cheap excursion to called El Blanco in Baru. Blue water, jet skis, about a 90 min ride by bus where you see the countryside of Colombia. Highly recommend.

The view and location from the room is amazing. Staff friendly. We think more pots and pans and utensils should be supplied, and a microwave. It is impossible to cook without this. Also, there was construction noises during the day. But most importantly, we think the hotels should all get together and DEMAND that the rivers and parks have the plastic and rubbish removed. AND fines for anyone throwing rubbish, the people are just so careless with their rubbish. It is such a negative experience for tourists and I would not recommend Cartegena to international tourists just because of the rubbish in the beautiful waterways and on the beach. I know this is not the individual hotels fault, but they should get together and demand this stops as it would be better for business.

I love this hotel! Staff and vibe are really cool! Neighborhood can see some improvement, not many restaurants walking distance. Beach is right across the street so that's cool, and local stores are just steps away. 5-10 min taxi to downtown walled city area.

They have a cool rooftop with lots of seating areas, cabanas, etc.

Definitely coming to this place every time I visit.

I stayed at this hotel twice during my last trip to Colombia, and it was an excellent experience. On both occasions, the front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful, assisting me with everything I needed. They were very sweet with my baby and helped me get hot water for her bottles.

The food at the café on the first floor is amazing!!!!!! The girls at the café were always wonderful and incredibly kind. The rooms are beautiful!!!!! Extremely comfortable. At all times, they were so thoughtful and attentive. I even made a mistake with my second reservation, and they helped me right away.

I am very grateful, I would highly recommend this hotel and would come back a thousand times.

The hotel was exactly as described. Housekeeping didnt go once to deliver towels, change sheets or touch up the room until the final day I was there, but I was already about to check out. The ladies at the downstairs restaurant weren’t the friendliest, but the staff on the rooftop restaurant were funny, outgoing, very informative, offered many suggestions and made the time up top very fun. Overall, I would go back. The room was so cute!

Recomiendo muchísimo este hotel, está ubicado en una zona muy buena, alejado del bullicio del centro pero tampoco lejos, el personal es súper atento, en el front desk le agradezco a Caroline que nos ayudó a imprimir un documento que necesitábamos con urgencia y siempre atenta a lo que necesitábamos, Daniela nos cambió de habitación cuando quisimos cambiarnos de piso y siempre estuvo dispuesta a ayudarnos en lo que nos hiciera falta, pero en general todo el personal de check in es especial, y el personal del rooftop ejemplar, Jesús hace unos tragos exquisitos y siempre está atento tanto el cómo el otro personal que lo ayuda. En fin una experiencia única en este hotel, lo repetiría una y otra vez.

El bar que está en el rooftop es demasiado caro, y tras de eso es súper lento, por unas empanadas y un trago se tardaron 2 hrs, mi hijo pidió toallas limpias los 8 días que estuvimos ahí y nunca le llevaron yo le tuve que dar de las mías, pienso que dos a tres personas fueron muy buenas con nosotros, el elevador se descomponía a cada rato, y la cafetería es lento y caro.

Where do I start?… I believe we have never stayed at a place with such welcoming staff. From the security guys, Santi, Dario; to the front desk Dani (the best host we’ve ever met, she just helped us in every single thing we needed, from transportation arrangements to ordering food, finding places, etc.) and Nelson, and of course the cleaning lady Betty, she was always so attentive to us. These guys just made our stay the greatest of all… Yes there may be more luxurious hotels around, but there are things that money can’t buy. This place is kept pristine, the rooms are very nice, and with super comfortable beds. The view on the roof top is unbeatable, the 2 pools are awesome!! We’re already planning on coming back, and Bondo is our first choice. Thank you guys, we will keep you all in our hearts.

I stayed at Bondo Estudio during a semi solo trip & I enjoyed every minute! I had to change my dates & the hotel staff was very accommodating, & did great with communication. My room was so beautiful & clean!! There’s security onsite 24/7 & the cutest puppy for back up lol. I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable at the hotel.

The hotel is directly across from the beach, and about a 10 min ride ($3-6USD) from Centro Historico. There’s a cafe in the lobby with the best croissants & chai tea frappes. The pool/rooftop is so beautiful the only thing missing was a dj to really set the mood in my opinion.
The surrounding land is in the process of being redeveloped but there’s still a good amount of traffic because the highway is right there. If you are a light sleeper I don’t think this is the hotel for you because you will hear honking, music, party buses etc very frequently until late in the night. The noise is probably my only con about the hotel other than that 10/10 when I return i definitely plan on staying here again <3

Overall the hotel is great - staff super friendly, common areas very clean, rooms comfortable.
Room turning / cleaning is not included in booking and should be made clear there’s an extra charge.
Location has nothing near it so you need to always go to the centre to eat etc.

Such a great place, super clean with great communication and they are super helpful with any questions. Right infront of the Cartagena letters and very easily accessible to any part of the city. Would definitely recommend and stay here again !
