Flop and Fly

A very quick overnight connection stopover for 4 family members. Early morning flight. Room was small but had everything we needed as long as you didn’t want to re-pack your suitcase.
Receptionist friendly on arrival and there are plenty of airport eateries and shops within a few 100m.
Next morning was a breeze…at check in within 5 mins of leaving the room! Just what we needed.

It was difficult to find. There is no Terminal 2 at the airport. They need to give more detailed written directions, ex., go through baggage claim, exit through Arrivals, the entry is on the left.

Once I found it, it was great for getting some sleep on an 8 hr layover.

This is a basic hotel for when you need to stay over at the airport. The rooms are compact without windows, but the price is good compared to your other options. We found the room to be clean and well maintained and the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Perfect layover hotel

Not sure why this place would have any poor reviews, it’s the perfect layover hotel. Sure there are no windows in the room but it’s ideal for a totally dark room to sleep in for your layover. Shower had great pressure and bed was very comfy. Has everything you need to refresh and rest during a Helsinki airport stay.

This hotel is entirely underground. I would hate to be in this place in case of a fire. The rooms are barely big enough for a bed, suitcase, and a bathroom. It was a struggle to reorganize my suitcase in my room. Showering was hard in the room due to limited space. The toilet seat cracked into two pieces.

Rooms were clean , hotel was in terminal so very convenient.

However there was continuous noise and sound proofing was not great. I may have just picked an odd day for it and could be coincidence. I will not recommend unless you don't have trouble falling asleep with little bit noisy.

Great for overnight layovers!

We landed in Helsinki at 10pm and had a second flight at 10am, and this hotel ensured we got the perfect amount of sleep before continuing our journey. Honestly, the windowless rooms were awesome, as we were able to sleep for a full 8 hours to help us adjust to the time change! The room was bigger than I was expecting based on other reviews, but we didn’t need a ton of space just to sleep anyway. Staff was nice and checkin was easy. Just be sure to discharge any static charge on your body before plugging anything in - we got shocked by the outlet.

Good value stay

A good cheap overnight stay at Helsinki airport. No windows, but everything else you need for a good nights sleep between flights. Lots of dining or shopping options in the landside area of the terminal if you need food or anything else during your stay. Hotel has a few basic food and drink options too in case you are there very late and the outside ones might be closed. Recommended.

Sanna at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and kind. It is always a pleasure after a long day to be treated with such kindness and compassion. She truly is a 5 star employee.

It looks like a prison cell with about the same amenities (none at all) every time you open the door you envision a movie where they say ‘open up on cell 3’ only good thing is prison is free this you have to pay

A nice, clean room located conveniently close to the departure hall. This time we had noisy neighbors whose voice carried into our room. Fortunately they stopped after a few rounds of knocking and staff fight didn’t need to get involved. We have stayed in this hotel before and will return!
