Good location, bad service

The hotel is conveniently located straight in Messukeskus, so you can visit your room during the fair. It is in ok condition. Very limited food choices in the restaurant, only junk food. The service was terrible, the waitress was noticably not pleased that we disturbed her peace.

The worst of the worst.

The room is as hot as a sauna. Why can't you turn on the air conditioning in advance? All the curtains are open and the sun is shining in.
The parking garage is ridiculous. The parking space is mainly intended for pedal cars. The staff and hotel management have reserved the best spots for themselves.
Never again to this particular hotel. The worst of the worst.

Everything was fine, but the cleaning was missing

The hotel was beautiful, the service was great, the location was amazing for me, who went to work at the Messukeskus, and the breakfast was delicious. But the cleaning was disappointing. I arrived, and the low table was full of breadcrumbs, the night table had a raisin, and in both beds I found long hairs. The tables stayed like that until I left, despite the bed was made every day.

Great hotel, next door to the exhibition centre, train station less than 5mins away with line servicing the center (1 stop away) and the airport ( direct , about 30mins journey costing 4.80 euros single way). Staff very friendly, room was clean and nicely layered. Restaurant and bar food very good.

Recommendation to Holiday Inn

Room was nice, clean, and spacious. Bed comfy (even softer vs firmer pillows to choose from). There were table and chair for working, which was good. And as a cherry on the top; even a little couch for just chilling. Thank you, it was a very comfortable stay.

Breakfast disappintment but otherwise good

Overall everything was very good. But the breakfast was not. Sunday morning, I guess hotel was full but in this kind of hotel I assume that they are aware how to handel things. By breakfast everything was over. More products were occasionally imported, but the tables were completely congested and there was a lot of queuing, and still the products ran out. This was a big disappointment.

A very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The staff are really pleasant and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, modern and up to date, and have everything you need. The breakfast was amazing; so many options! Everything from cooked, to cereal, cheese platters and deli meats, pastries, eggs, even salad. Gluton free also catered for. Less than a ten minute walk to the local mall for anything else you need.

I booked 3 night at hotel it was fantastic! The room was cleaned and fresh during my time away which made me feel appreciated. I didn't touch minibar but check inside it was filled with a nice set of Snack and drinks had even space left for my own soda.
Cabin was nice were i was able to unpack my clothes and take them after shower.
Towels were great and soft i really liked them! Bathroom was not bad either. Only down side i found was during using TV trying to browse tv channel had annoying overlay during browsing. Movie option didn't work either and the remote seemed bit weird but overall my staying in was very happy and positive experience.

Business hotel close to conference centre and Helsinki's second station, access to central Helsinki easy by train or tram which stops outside the hotel. Area and hotel do lack character but is clean, modern and well run. Quiet mid-week in July, but much busier at the weekend. Avoid breakfast after 9, as it becomes a scrum on Sat and Sun. Breakfast quality was good, with a wide choice available. Hotel has gym and sauna facilities but no pool, which is the only negative. Staff polite and helpful and like everyone in Finland, speak excellent English. Overall good value, would recommend.

Huge inconvenience

All was good but the restaurant was closed. I cant walk well so this was a huge inconvenience for me as everything nearby is located uphill.

We stayed at this property for 6 nights and frankly there is nothing to complain. The location is great. Trams to downtown drop right in front of the hotel. The train station is a 3 minute walk. The lobby is great and has everything from a giant TV screen to board games. It has a bouncy castle and foos ball. Sauna is great and the gym is also very good. Rooms are new and well decorated. Breakfast was plentiful and was not a problem even for vegetarians like us. Staff was nice. We had an absolutely great time. Quiet part of the town with several restaurants nearby. The pizzas in the hotel are a must try as well.

It is just a few minutes walk from the station - from where it is a 5 minute journey to Central Railway Station and just 22 minutes from the Airport.
We chose to walk to central Helsinki - took about 30 minutes mostly through a park with a lake.
So ideally located and excellent staff and facilities with great rooms.
