Breakfast is great! Hotel is a bit outdated, but clean and quiet. Goodvalue for money.

When I arrived I was told I would have to wait in reception whilst the receptionist visited my room, most unusual. On day one I advised reception that my TV was not working, someone was despatched to my room to rectify the problem, they were unable to do so. I was told that I could not have a room change, however I was told that my TV would be replaced the next day. The hotel failed to change my TV. I was however supported very well by Tamnit Gill who kindly moved me to a new room.

I had a room close to what sounded like the heating system, as I could hear the burner starting up / running, I guess that I just drew the short straw. But it was only a low level soun so didn't wake me up. The entrance hall and stairwell looked in need of repainting and the mat at the entrance looked very worn. But actually it was quite comfortable and the breakfast offering was quite varied. So once you got past the first impressions it was quite comfortable.

Well it was as i expected but location was good for city and airport.Helsinki is expensive and this hotel is expensive for what it is.Good breakfast friendly staff.tv was not working safe deposit box key pad broken hotel gave us a master key so that was ok. Sauna only open in the morning pool useless.

It was abit suureal, as the hotel had ni lights on when I arrived (technical reasons with wires---it happens!), so check in was with flashlights and there was not much to doi in te room without any light...but they were polite, breakfast was quite okey. Parking nearby---not too much space available.

We arrived after midnight. Doors were locked. Waited for 15 mins in -6 degrees for the security to arrive and open the door. It's a good hotel but make sure that you ring the hotel in advance if you are checking in late.

The property is next to all the great public transportation in Helsinki. The train is a 5 minute walk up the hill. Tram #1 comes right in front of the hotel. Several buses come right next to it. The hotel has a daily buffet breakfast. The building is very old “Soviet block” style. It is a budget hotel for sure. Accommodations are simple.

Dated, desperately needs refurbishing. Very basic room, mould in bathroom, hairdryer not working, depressing room with curtain too small so light streams in. Cheap, stained plastic covered chairs in lobby. Breakfast ok but not good - lots of flies. I was kept awake by next room noise of tv, etc. Should be a lot cheaper for what it offers. However staff are friendly so two stars.

stayed one night here and only booked it as it had parking and was a short drive to the airport. Parking was difficult in the end, the hotel was rather scruffy, no night porter, and the area is not good. Also they made such a fuss about the early breakfast (which they offered but it seemed to be too much trouble for them).

Mutta huone haisi viemärille, ja suihkusuutin oli viallinen, ja suihkussa käynti kasteli minun lisäkseni koko kylpyhuoneen: vettä suihkusi muutamasta suuttimen reiästä suoraan kattoon, josta sitä tippui kauan suihkun jälkeen ympäri lattiaa ja peilin edessä hyllyllä olleeseen kosmetiikkapussiini. Oli iso työ kuivata kaikki meikit ja pussi, jottei kallis kosmetiikka menisi pilalle.
Mutta huone haisi viemärille, ja suihkusuutin oli viallinen, ja suihkussa käynti kasteli minun lisäkseni koko kylpyhuoneen: vettä suihkusi muutamasta suuttimen reiästä suoraan kattoon, josta sitä tippui kauan suihkun jälkeen ympäri lattiaa ja peilin edessä hyllyllä olleeseen kosmetiikkapussiini. Tarvitsin lyhyellä varoitusajalla edullisen yöpymispaikan ja sellaisena hotelli palveli hyvin. Unta häiritsi huoneen sijainti ilmalämpöpumpun keskusyksikön yläpuolella. Lähes tauoton hurina ja pörinä toi mieleen risteilyaluksen moottorin äänen. Puuttui vain tax free -myymälän pullojen kilinä. Henkilökunta oli tavattoman ystävällistä ja sauna-uima-allaaosasto oikein mukava.

Leider ist dieses Hotel in die Jahre gekommen, unser Vierbettzimmer glich eher einem Jugendherbergezimmer, es war alles sauber, aber das Zimmer ist auf keinen Fall 200Eur/Nacht die Nacht wert. Das Frühstück ist leider auch nicht besonders appetitlich angerichtet, alle Warmspeisen sind mit Alufolie bedeckt, um es so noch länger warm zu halten. Wurt und Käse werden geschichtet...lecker ist anders. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich und können sicherlich nichts für diese Situation.

Pieni käytännöllinen huone 2 erillisellä sängyllä, sisäpihan puolella,meteliä en havainnut minkäänlaista, huoneesta löytyi myös pieni jääkaappi mikä oli positiivinen yllätys, huone kelvollinen lyhyttä majoitusta ajatellen ainakin, hieman lämmin, mutta löytyi tuuletin myös.. :)

Nyt oli vähän huono hetki tulla tähän hotelliin. Ulkona oli kuuma, joten myös huoneissa oli kuuma. Äänieristys myös oli aika kehno. Illalla pääsi nukkumaan vasta klo 24 jälkeen, kun kovaääninen puhe hiljeni. Huone oli ihan hyvä, mutta vuode oli liian pehmeä ja tyynyt aika loppuunkuluneet. Aamupalalla tarjottiin molempina aamuina homeisia marjoja?! Ja vaikka Suomessa ollaan, niin ruisleipää ei ollut tarjolla. Eikä mitään, pientäkään, makeaa palaa. Hinta-laatu -suhde ei siis ollut aivan kohdallaan.

Das Hotel hat definitiv die besten Jahre hinter sich, das Zimmer entsprach überhaupt nicht den Fotos auf der Seite. 2 Tage konnte ich fast gar nicht schlafen, da wahrscheinlich die Klimaanlage Dauerkrach machte , das Frühstück ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig

Yöpyminen sinänsä sujui hyvin, mutta ensimmäisen aamun aamiainen oli katettu eteisaulaan. Tästä informoitiin meitä kyllä edellisenä iltana ja tiesimme siis tästä järjestelystä etukäteen. Aamiaisen kattaus oli kuitenkin yllätys: ruoat olivat kylmiä esim nakit, pekoni jne. Oli aika epäsiistiä, lautasia puuttui ja kaiken lopuksi meille ei ollut paikkaa missä syödä vaan piti nousta lautasten ja lasien kanssa kakkoskerroksen kokoustilaan. Onneksi toisen aamun aamiaiskattaus oli jo tasokkaampi.

The food in the restaurant ok, but could be better, we like our bacon crispy, not soft, can be cultural. :) Ate there in the evening also as previously written, the food is ok, but nothing special. resturan out dated on the look, but ok, (probably had to be renovated at the end of our stay but didn't get to experience it before we went home).
The hotel is in a nice walking distance to the tram, bus and train, so nice and easy to get to city center in 20-30 min.
For the price we paid for the stay we are satisfied but new duvets are a must. We would love to come again. will give it 2 stars out of 5.

Prima hotel voor één nachtje op doorreis. Bij het ontbijt kregen we niet de indruk dat hygiëne veel prioriteit kreeg. Maar het personeel was uitermate vriendelijk. Door omstandigheden waren we drie uur te vroeg voor de incheck, maar dat was geen probleem. We konden toch direct in de kamer.

Over the years Park Hotel has begun to lose its shine. There is a bit of a shabby tinge these days. (I have been using this hotel since the 90’s when out Finnish teachers’ union used to offer significant discounts.) the hotel’s location, however, is convenient.
