I chose the hotel because of its convenience for the railway Central Station. They notified us on arrival there would be building noise each day from 10 to 4 pm - yes it was noisy and continued to 5pm. Hotel was extemely busy, long queues in reception, the \"highly sophisticated\" call systen for the elevators had several problem and we had to nominate our time for breakfast as it was so crowded.

You have asked if I enjoyed the ocean view. There was no ocean view, although I was not expecting one. The main problem for me with this hotel is the wifi was very poor. Also the breakfast options were quite limited for such a big hotel.

This was the second bad experience at a Radisson hotel, would not choose the chain again as a result (2 strikes and out)

Stayed for weekend as part of daughter's 21st celebrations. From room upgrade to cake and bubbly - everyone was so kind and made our stay so special. Room spotless, views incredible, best breakfast buffet ever, wonderful pool and sauna. Great location meant most major sites in easy walking distance. Staff was very rude and said if you dont like it you could leave. Room was getting cold every hour temperature would just drop. Pool is extremely small and about 30 minutes walk to it. Bar was always closed. Restaurant was good but way too overpriced. We paid extra for the fjord view which does not exist in that hotel, so ivercharged again. Breakfast was terrible. As we checked in , our mini bar was half emptied by previous guests and no one fixed it in 3 day stay

Renovations going on so there were some times of no hot water and loud drilling. Asked for an extra mattress topper as husbands bed didn’t have one. After 5 days I gave up. Charge to empty the mini bar!

We had booked KING bed with extra bed for 3 people. they initially, gave me king bed but said to get extra bed i have to move to family room and then gave us 3 TWIN beds. Wife, my child and i all slept on TWIN bed separately. They have COT available but in some rooms only and refuse to move it room with king bed though room size and configuration is identical.

I booked a double bed and ended up in a room with 3 single beds. The mattress was sliding from the frame and so the mattress cover. You have to get up in the middle of the night and push the mattress otherwise you would fall off the bed. The third looks like a grubby box with some bedding on it. A round table too big for the room. To get anywhere near the window you would have to remove a big armchair and the table. I was asked to go to the reception in the morning to change the room and every time the same conversation. Come back around 4 pm or 5. The following the same thing. I caught a staff rolling her eyes when asked for some milk. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place. I stayed in better motels along the trans Canada for 50 dólar a night. They kept say there wasn’t any available room with a double bed but if I was willing to pay 300 Kron I could changed right away. The hotel sells a standard of service they are not capable of providing. Avoid at any costs.

Fantastic breakfast and we loved the dedicated gluten free area. Our room with a fjord view was wonderful and the bed was so comfortable. The only downside was being next to the lifts, which were a little bit noisy going up and down outside our wall. We did get used to it though. The staff were all so helpful and friendly too. It would have been nice to have more options at The Top. We didn’t eat there as there didn’t seem to be much on the menu.

The hotel inside was generally excellent, the staff checked us in early and helped with a couple of requests I had, the pool and gym being included was great. There was building works going on at the time which didn’t affect the night time in anyway, the area around the hotel isn’t great with lots of drunks and everyone smoking outside is a bit much

We asked to have our room changed as we were put on the 8th floor on the construction site side of the hotel. It was noisy and depressing. I went back down to ask for a room on the other side just wanting to escape the construction site, so the lovely gentleman at the desk changed us to the ocean view side on the 16th floor. I had no idea! It was spectacular and comfortable and most importantly, quiet. Thank you!

This hotel is located right next to the main train station in Oslo. It is also located next to a seemingly busy sidewalk. There were homeless people and drunk folks around. For that reason, I found the area a bit too unsafe to walk around especially after dark.

Highly recommend this hotel

Great hotel,not far from the main attractions. We stayed following a cruise. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast is the best we have experienced at a hotel in Europe. The front desk staff was very helpful, we appreciate the recommendation to download and use the BOLT rideshare App. It was very reliable and saved several dollars compared to Taxi or Viator driver service.

Really good business hotel and clearly plenty of cruise travellers on stop-overs as well. *big* hotel.

Super convenient for central Oslo (central station c 5 mins walk). Room spotless with nice views over the city. Good breakfast with good variety of food.

Lovely pool and sauna but tricky access up spiral staircases off a main floor (and having to pay extra if you want to borrow a robe to walk through the hotel common areas when using these facilities feels cheap).

Would definitely stay again.

A nicely appointed room but beware there is demolition happening across the road that will be followed by construction. We were woken at 6.50 am each morning by the external demolition which didn’t finish until 9.15pm and in addition to this the hotel has renovations happening. Despite reception telling us the internal renovations were between the hours of 10 and 4, the drilling started at 8am each morning and could be clearly heard. All odd numbered rooms will be affected by the external construction works for quite some time. Unsure how long the internal renovations will be going on. There was no warning by the hotel of these inconveniences.

Great choice for Oslo

Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Oslo. Easy train from airport to the hotel via Oslo S central station, and walk to the hotel from there. Very central to all main attractions. Highly recommend buying the Oslo Pass that includes public transport and museum admissions. Also recommend you request a room away from the giant construction site across the street. We couldn’t sleep past 7am due to the noise. Not the hotel’s fault, but every room in that hotel should be filled before you put anyone along the construction site view.

The hotel is located near the central station . Unfortunately near the hotel there is a building site that offers a grim view. The staff is amazing though . Special shoutout to Frogdis at reception that is truly a star . She accommodated our requests and was very friendly and professional . The breakfast buffet is crowded and very limited considering the brand Raddison . All in all a good stay .
