From the minute I was welcomed arriving at 1:30am to the minute I left, I felt that the customer service here is amazing. Super friendly and helpful staff. The room was great, the bed was ao comfortable, and the breakfast included was amazing - lots of vegan or vegetarian options. Room was cute, though small — had to scoot along the wall to get to the other side of the bed, and the window faced a courtyard that, while quiet, occasionally had workers that might catch a glimpse of you. Would suggest asking about privacy if you aren’t staying solo, and having the windows covered in film at ground level! But otherwise would recommend and stay again.

Overall a wonderful experience. The room was quiet, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is one of the best I have ever had. Streetcar stop is conveniently at the front of the hotel and Mannerheimintie is right around the corner making the location superb. The only negatives were that the mini refrigerator was not very cold, the room was quite small and we spent a while looking for the power outlet in the bathroom! This was my second visit and I will definitely return!

Mini rooms are fine for a very short stay. Anything longer than two nights, you'll want to upgrade to a comfort room or larger. The three tram lines opposite the front door make this an easy choice for enjoying Helsinki.

Room was nice, it just felt like it hadn't been stayed in for a while. The front desk warned me that the refrigerator didn't work, which was fine with me. The tv remote also didn't work which was more of a problem because that meant I couldn't watch tv at all when I was looking forward to that. Additionally the wifi signal was pretty weak.
Lastly, it was hard to find a way to plug my phone in and still keep it close to the bed at night.

Amazing location, lovely staff but I can’t help but decrease my rating due to the fact my room wasn’t cleaned for my entire stay (3 nights). On the first day they were there and replaced a rug in the toilet but didn’t make the bed or anything else and on the next day they weren’t there at all. And I always left my room in the morning. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choices and all in all I’d still stay there. Also, amazing rooftop bar

Checked in and was pleasantly surprised at how cute my room was. It’s the mini-room so it’s small, but I’m small and don’t need a lot of space. I called down to get an extra blanket and they brought me a heater too. And, breakfast is excellent. Would definitely recommend.

I started with a faily basic room, either the Mystical or Passion, they look similar. It was really nice, well laid out, and well designed.
The next room was one floor up. I'm not sure what it's designation was, but it had more amenities (coffeemaker, desk, etc.). The bathroom was smaller and a little less convenient than the first room. It had a huge, new looking tv, that unfortunately wasn't programmed right. Being late on a Sunday, there was no one onsite that could fix it, so they apologized and offered another room. So...
The 3rd room was the Sky Balcony. It was beatiful, well designed, blissfully quiet, and even came with a guitar. Really wonderful. There are 3 stairs to go down between the sleeping area and the bathroom.
Showers were excellent. New, clean, with plenty of hot water.
Breakfast and meeting areas were really well done, with interesting design and use of space. Breakfast included plenty of Gluten Free options for celiacs.
Location was very convenient, and easy walk to the train station even with heavy luggage.

Covid has been tough on Helsinki hotels and Klaus K is still recovering. The rooms are showing age, the showers need a clean and many of the staff are still learning on the job. I’ve been coming to the Klaus K almost every year since 2007 so I’ve watched it fade and lose appeal. I get the impression it’s now under new management - I just hope the new owner has deep pockets so this wonderful hotel can be restored to its former glory.

What can I say? It was the absolute perfect stay. I was visiting during Helsinki pride March weekend. The city was hot and busy. I felt none of that inside the Klaus K. The staff provided exceptional hospitality. Please stay in one of the sky studios with terrace if possible. The air conditioner was amazing. The view was perfect. And easy access to the terrace bar made it even more fun. The room was absolutely fabulous.

The hotel has a very clever approach to hair and body products. They have a large selection of full sized bottles of different products in the lobby. You pick what you want, use what you need and leave the bottles behind for the next guest. Great idea! Eco friendly and gives lots of choices.

An excellent small hotel close to all the Helsinki attractions. Arty decor and great buffet breakfast. The Sky Terrace offers great views of the city with drinks. Streetside rooms may be a bit noisy because of the tram - we opted for courtyard, which doesn’t offer much in the way of views, but still offered daylight and quiet. We will stay here again, strongly recommended!
