As I am experiencing a temporary disability problem and I have had noise issues before, I was specifically asking for a room that would not have a bathtub and that would be silent. First they assigned me into a room with bathtub; then I asked for a room with shower. Then they put me into a room that was on second floor above bar, on the corner of two noisy streets. Very noisy. Then I asked for a silent room. I was assigned again to a second floor room with a promise that there is no noise coming from downstairs.
During the night - people were talking and laughing VERY loud in the lobby and I had no sleep at all. I asked again to be placed into a quiet room with no bathtub. I got a very cold (18 degrees Celcius) room with accessability function. That is fine... but it was next to the lift. So I heard people taking the lift the whole night.
On top of that - there was no hot water.
So - I came to this hotel to sleep and wash and I did not get to wash myself and did not get any sleep.
During the night - people were talking and laughing VERY loud in the lobby and I had no sleep at all. I asked again to be placed into a quiet room with no bathtub. The staff at this property is super friendly and helpful, all of them. The problem with me was the cleanness of the place in general, specially the bathroom room. It was full of mould/dark spots all over the place, it really looked unpleasant.
Also, this property has a rule that they only clean your room every three days. I am ok with that, if they let you know clearly during checking, and also, if the bathroom was clean. I guess the cleaning every three days is not strong enough to clean all those dark spots in the shower.
Also, the carpets around the room floors were always very dirty as well.

Location was good, with shops, cafe's and restaurants situated along the Boulevard just yards from the hotel. It was only a ten minute walk into the city centre. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent and comprehensive. Recommended.

The staff was helpful and friendly. We had to change our room as the tv was not working. We were upgraded and received drink vouchers. The staff was very good. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise too. We enjoyed our stay.

We would have liked some more options in the dinner menu but there are plenty of good restaurants within short walk. The description is for rooms of 20 square meters.
Only a few rooms are that large and most are around 13-15 square meters. I complained after a few days and got moved to a room of the right size, but there's about a tenth of the rooms that are this large only.

This hotel is a charming, slightly vintage style hotel only a short (about 10-15 mins) walk from Kamppi. The room was great, soft bed and good toiletries. Breakfast was good also. The mood was very charming and thr staff was nice.

The hotel is close to the lovely parks along Boulevardi and Esplanadi, making it very pleasant to walk into the harbor area and museums. The room was really nice, with a good view and lots of space. It was nice to have a desk to get some work done, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, the first floor lounge was a good place to take a break.

Radisson delivers yet again! This is a very well located, reasonably priced hotel, twinkly clean, great breakfast, and ooooooooo sooooooo comfy beds! When you're in your late 60's and every bone aches after a day of walking, a great bed is what you need! The room had everything from coffee maker & fridge, to robes and hairdryers, iron and board, and plenty of plugs for computers, phones, electric tooth brushes, etc. And the staff is great! Friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you for making Helsinki so comfortable! Also, there are a lot of good restaurants in this area - from Nepali to Thai to Nordic - you can find something around here that is scrumptious and not bank breaking. Yet you are reasonable walking distance from the major sites. I would definitely stay here again. Why look further when you've found something that checks all the boxes!

Our room was quite large and there was a bath in the bathroom. The AC worked well and the bed was really comfortable. The location was quite convenient for most places that we needed to visit. The hotel is a 10-15 minutes walk to ferry, market square, cathedral, train station and bus station.
