There were several front desk agents who went far and beyond their job duties in assisting me. However my stay was not the best. The room was very cold and I end up getting a cold behind the poor heat in the room. I also had an unpleasant experience with the waitstaff in the restaurant.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Seaside Hotel, Helsinki for six nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were absolutely lovely — friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made our stay feel very comfortable from start to finish.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options to suit different tastes, and it was a highlight of our mornings. We also really enjoyed using the gym, which was well-equipped and clean — a great bonus during a longer stay.

Overall, a very pleasant hotel with great service, good facilities, and a relaxed atmosphere. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Helsinki.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seaside location. The room was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is close to transit and the West Harbour Terminal.

We had a terrible smell like something died in our bathroom in Room 902 and also couldn't open balcony door and let front desk know and they said they'd advise maintenance. A passing hotel worker we grabbed on day 2 opened our balcony door. On checkout on day 4 I said the bathroom still had a terrible smell and they said we had the DND on our door which was incorrect. The breakfast was very good and extensive but was a zoo with the hotel being full. Needs a new system for ordering and retrieving omelette orders and more than just a single toaster.

Don’t trust the pictures. There is no rooftop access, which, along with the waterfront location, is the main reason we booked. The pictures told another story. We wound up walking across to the Clarion, which did have a “rooftop” bar, albeit not on the roof, but several stories up so we could get a good sunset view with a cocktail.

A luxurious stay by the water

Really excellent: the breakfast is fabulous, the hotel is in a great location with a view of the sea and also within walking distance (about 20-25mins) to the city centre, but also well-connected by trams. The staff are very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Upgraded to a business class room which was exceptional. Breakfast was also very good. My only complaint is the bar was closed permanently & even if open was small & limited. Plus a plethora of mosquitoes in the foyer gave me a bunch of unwelcome bites

Very clean. Although, the room for three people a little too small and it was difficult to spread three luggage. In the bathroom, the bathtub with a glass screen, which was a little too small and the water splashed outside the tub. Although, on the other hand, the water pressure in the shower was weak, so there was not much splashing either :) But the overall impression is very good. Super location with access to public transportation and nice neighborhood with various public service points - stores, dining, etc. But the best thing about this hotel is the breakfast, which outshines all possible inconveniences. I recommend staying at this hotel just for this breakfast.

Very nice hotel

We stayed in this hotel for a conference. Never been to Finland B4, but it very nice, clean and everyone was friendly. The hotel was great, we got a room on the 9th floor. This had views over the sea, the room was very clean and had the biggest bed I have ever seen! Very helpful staff and a nice breakfast with hot and cold food. The one thing I would say is don't think seaside, as in Southend on sea. It was quiet with no amusement machines!

Very nice hotel. Closet to a food market and easily accessible by transport (and although off center, it is t far to the centre, we still walked everywhere).

Room was overlooked by apartments opposite. I did not expect to navigate around a big structural pillar in the middle of my room which felt a bit weird.

A wonderful boutique hotel experience right by the water. This hotel is decorated in a very modern style and is very well kept. The staff was friendly and attentive and we had a nice view of the water from our room. But the highlight definitely had to be the breakfast they offered. DE-LI-CIOUS. One of the best hotel breakfasts we had ever had. They offered everything from salmon, to eggs and bacon, to fresh bread and fruit. Everything was outstanding.

Our stay was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and came with two comfortable king size beds. The fitness center was clean and well-equipped. We sauna was spacious. The hotel is in a great location. There is a tram stop steps from the hotel. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

While the desk staff and restaurant staff were lovely and helpful, it did not make up for the ambiance of the passages and shabbiness of the hotel. A definite coat of paint and cleaning of carpets is required. As a member I have stayed in a few Radisson’s but this was a poor example of the hotel product.

We loved that there were two king size beds, which made it much easier to sleep for our family with two children. That was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. Everything else was a bonus; the super cute restaurant downstairs; the water and coffee downstairs; friendly staff; and wonderful location. We walked to some great restaurants and I liked walking around the area.

The tram stop was very close so we didn’t need a car to get around. There were several food options in the area except for breakfast. The weird thing was we had this huge column in our room that we had to walk around coming in the door and going to the bathroom.

Wonderful room and breakfast

The room, bath and balcony were wonderful, providing a comfortable and pleasant stay. Breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options.

However, our dinner experience at the restaurant was less satisfactory. Although the food quality was excellent, the ambiance was disrupted by preparations for the next morning's breakfast service, which began as early as 8:30 PM. Our table was situated directly opposite the waiters' workstation, where the collection of cutlery and plates created noticeable noise. This activity, particularly in a quiet restaurant, detracted from the dining atmosphere and made it difficult to relax. Additionally, while there were salt mills on the table, there was no separate provision for pepper; surprisingly, pepper was provided from a mill labeled \"salt,\" which added to the confusion.

Furthermore, we encountered issues in the bathroom, where we were unable to use the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel due to the incorrect installation of the holders. This inconvenience affected the overall experience.

Overall, while the stay had its highlights, improvements in both the dining experience and bathroom amenities would enhance guest satisfaction.

Lovely hotel a bit away from downtown

Breakfast was fantastic. The room is well sized and comfortable. The sea view room does overlook water but it’s really a working harbour and a city view.
Compared to the location of other city hotels, it’s a bit out of the way but the downtown remains walkable from here. There is a great grocery store nearby.

We were unexpectedly in Finland due to my sister experiencing a medical emergency and subsequently being diagnosed with a brain tumor. The staff at this hotel were SUPER kind and accommodating to our family; one member of the staff even recognized my brother in law on the street and asked how my sister was doing. The hotel itself was great but the staff were AMAZING! You’re in good hands here.

Decent hotel

You’re right on tram line 7 from the ferry terminal to the city centre. It is also served by two other tram lines as well (6&9). Our room was very comfortable thanks to those fluffy Radisson Blu pillows. Breakfast buffet was busy but there were actually lots of tables. All in all a decent location albeit not right in the centre.

Nice place, very clean & friendly staff! The only thing I didn’t like was that there’s no access to the rooftop terrace, which is shown in the property details/pictures. I asked & was told it’s only for business events. I might have booked elsewhere if I’d known as that was one of my attractions to this hotel.

We are delighted that we chose to stay at this hotel. The staff provided a welcoming and accommodating service, and the breakfast buffet offered exceptional value for money (gluten-free options, etc). Although we stayed for only one night, we would definitely consider returning with our family. While the hotel is situated a little bit outside the city center, public transport options are widely available. Our modern and well-equipped room even had a fantastic view of the Helsinki Port. Highly recommend this hotel!

The pictures are deceiving. Hotel was not clean at all. Bed sheet had yellow stains all over, there was a dust on the ceiling from the A/C, the carpets on the hotel entrance were dirty. Breakfast was amazing but pricey. Overall, I would not stay there again. Too expensive for lack of cleanliness

Radisson Blu Seaside Hotel is a wonderful place for a family stay. We truly enjoyed our spacious room with two large, comfortable beds. Everything was very clean and cozy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The food was delicious, and the location is very convenient and easily accessible. We had a great experience and would happily stay here again.
