Excellent location, wonderful, friendly staff…will certainly be back!
Carlos
Great location, close to transit and main shopping areas. Walking distance to the university, museums and the public library. Friendly and helpful staff.
Carlos
Great location, fantastic staff, recommend the view from the top floor. I'll definitely go there again.
Erin
All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is convenient for walking to destinations.
James
Nice new property with well appointed rooms. There is no restaurant on site, so a little effort needed to find breakfast. Kitchenette’s are a nice feature, and there is a little store very close by. Would stay again.
Pirjo
Super helpful and nice staff, excellent service. Spacious lovely room. Superb location!
John
This was my favorite hotel on a three-week trip though Scandinavia.
Kathryn
Everything was exceptional - staff, breakfast, room, location.
Robert
Great hotel, and excellent breakfast.
Brian
Room was immaculate and super comfortable. Perfectly balanced for what could have seemed like a smaller space. Would stay here every time in Helsinki.
Mark

Great central location
Julie
Absolutely beautiful hotel with a great choice for breakfast including its own gluten free bar. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. My only negative point is the lifts; they are very small. Two go to the very top and an old fashioned on only goes to floor 5. These lists are used by customers and staff so if it’s housekeeping morning it takes forever to go anywhere! Other than that, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Beautiful old world style hotel in city centre
Hotel is in a great location, and was surprisingly quiet considering it was a busy area.
The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful.
I would definitely stay here again if in Helsinki.

Good convenient position however the hotel was a little tired.

Great views from the top floor. The room was small, but we were offered a larger one on a lower floor, which was appreciated. It did get very warm, and without air con, we had to keep the blinds shut during the day to manage the heat as we had no air-con. Breakfast was great — plenty of options and good quality.

Great hotel
Lovely historic hotel with great backstories, fully renovated without losing any of its charm.
Great location, excellent check in staff, view from roof bar

Nice hotel in a great location. Rooms are a little sterile, but decent. Lighting system could be improved. One switch turns on all lights in the room. It would be nice to have a switch that just turns in the ceiling lights, instead if having to turn off all the lamps in the room. Decent gym for a hotel.

The only thing i have to say is that the AC situation wasn't the greatest. The controls were a bit different and it wasn't clear how to regulate the temp in the room. Then when the fan or AC (again wasn't clear) turned on, once it reached the lowest temp available of 19.0 degrees it shut off and then would reset back to 21 or 22. Again, maybe it was user error, but i didn't find any instructions on this. I opened the windows most nights, but depending on which night you're staying (Saturday was the worst), you could will be exposed night club traffic and people yelling and just being drunk until 5 am in the morning and not get any sleep. If you don't have to open the window, you should be fine. In addition to that, the duvet was something used in the winter time. I kept waking up bathed in my own sweat almost every night. They were able to give me a lighter duvet, but it was still too heavy and didn't make much of a difference. I asked for a fan, but apparently that was not an option. Aside from this, the hotel staff is great, the accommodations are excellent as well. Very updated, great bathrooms, plenty of water pressure, large closets for all your clothes and luggage. Great breakfast and a lot of at restaurants in walking distance as well. The hotel is situated in an area with lots of Asian cuisine, which i enjoyed. Very close to public transportation which is very easy to use via the HSL app. There is a lot of history in this hotel and it was a great experience.

Amazing hotel, clean and friendly staff. Great food and location

The best!
Richard
Nice place to stay. Staff are very helpful. One thing might be better to consider for people who carry large luggage because there are some stairs or steps. Suggest to change if possible in future. When we checked out, staff helped to carry luggage out. Overall, this is excellent hotel and has panoramic views from top to whole city.

A very posh hotel for us.
Great view of the city from our room in the tower.
Even better view from the bar at the top.
Breakfast was very tasty with lots of choice.
Only downside was the TV in our room didn't work but that didn't matter as we there one night & used our phones & hotel wifi.
Glass door on the bathroom was interesting.

Amazing stay
Amazing hotel right in the center, close to everything, with great tram access too.
The room was nice and clean.
The receptionist who welcomed us (I’m so sorry I can’t recall the name, she was young and blonde) was super sweet and helpful, the restaurant staff as well.
Great breakfast, definitely recommend the smoothies.

Staff was friendly and efficient, spoke very good English, and made good suggestions for dining options other than the restaurant on site

This was a beautiful hotel. Very centrally located. Clean and friendly staff. Gorgeous room. Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for hotel in walkable area.

Room was not as should be
Cian
Amazing view from the top floor bar, possibly the best view of the city. Staff were really friendly and accommodating and the rooms were very nice, clean and furnished to a high standard. Breakfast was of a great quality with lots of options, and wasn’t swimming in grease like other hotel buffet breakfasts
Mariko
Hotel located was very close to everything. Main train station, supermarket and department store.
Stuff was nice.
If you go to rooftop you will see nice views. ( it has bar, too)

The hotel was great, staff was helpful and very friendly, location of hotel is very walkable. The only problem was a night club that is open to 5am Thursday- Saturday. That was not listed on the hotels page. Otherwise, i would have probably stayed somewhere else. It was pretty bad

Walking distance to everything in downtown Helsinki, including train station, shopping, museums. Perfect location! Friendly staff, good breakfast. Cute outdoor dining terrace, and great view of the city from the rooftop terrace. Will definitely be back!

Great Hotel!!
The stay was great! The check-in was smooth and staff was very professional, respectful and overall nice. You feel welcomed. The hotel is kept clean, same as my room so I felt comfortable.
Great location, close to bars, restaurants, railroad, cathedral, market square, etc.
I would definitely stay here again.

Just a short walk from the train station and relatively easy to find. Staff were excellent at welcoming us.
The hotel is in a good location, central and easy to access everything. We were even able to walk to Loyly sauna despite there being ice on the pavements.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was included and was of a good quality with good variety.
Would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel
Beautiful hotel with views of the skyline. However, if you're going for a queen bed - be careful. The sheets don't fit properly so it was not a comfortable rest as it kept crumpling up in the middle of the night.
Eleine
Everyone and everyone were wonderful and friendly.
My only problem was the maid service never took used cups and glasses from the room.

Excellent stay, lovely room & everything you could possibly need at breakfast. Highly recommended.

The hotel is beautiful. The room and bed so comfortable. Saska at reception was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the old part of the hotel and the room was large, had high ceilings and a small beautifully tiled bathroom. The hotel is walking distance to the train station and shopping district, would definitely return.
Julie
Beautiful hotel! Wonderful staff - amazing rooftop bar! Easy walk to the main train station and restaurants.
Laura
Easy stay in the heart of Helsinki!
The hotel has always been one of my favorite and now after refurbishing even more. Room quality is great and breakfast is just enough, freshly oven baked croissants and cold cuts, healthy smoothie and sustainably presented buffet. Big plus also for the attentive table service. Thank you Torni staff for making my stay so easy and lovely!
Pekka
Cleanliness was perfectly fine.
In your breakfast restaurant you could have wider selection of coffees and some of the waiters could pay quicker attention to the customers when serving the coffee and orange juice.

Ernst
Charmantes Hotel im Herzen von Helsinki gelegen!
Henrik
A very nice top floor bar.
Nina
Lækkert rent værelse - ingen larm - super lækker morgenmad og behjælpligt og venligt personale. Hotelet ligger meget centralt.
Nina
Ann
Obekväma kuddar, dålig belysning i badrummet. Minibaren fungerade inte, ingen kyla i den. All dryck var ljummen.
Fin frukostbuffé och trevlig personal.

Very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The only thing I´d wish they´d had, would have been a coffee machine, like a Nespresso or similar in the room. Other than that, I was very pleased with the comfort and I would love to return.
Anders
Fint hotell, trevlig personal, bra läge!
Heli
Kim
Bra läge, fint hotell. Bott där 10 tal gånger
Tina
A beautiful hotel conveniently located in the middle of Helsinki. The rooms are classic and light with a comfortable bed, fluffy duvet, and pillows. The toilet has an actual door and non of that sliding door nonsense many hotels have today.
The building is from 1930s and this means that there are some noises from adjecent rooms and the hall, when people walk past or slam doors. If you are very noise sensitive then this hotel is not for you.
The breakfast is amazing and the roof top bar offers a lovely view at sunset.
I will stay here again for sure.

Trevligt och bra som alltid!

Comfortable hotel in the city center. Good service, great breakfast, nice rooftop bar. Only drawback is that the single rooms are very small.
Mona
Frukosten kunde varit bättre. Rummet och hotellets läge var mycket bra. Bra mat på restaurang Or!

The place to be. The hotel is really nice and the location ideal.

Hotellissa on näkyvissä hyvin vaalittu historia.Huone oli erittäin siisti, laadukas ja kaunis. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä.

Sängyt todella hyviä ja koko hotelli siisti.

Great hotel with an interesting history
Balthasar
Sehr gute Lage in Helsinki, saubere Zimmer.

Rummet var lite dammigt, men jättetrevlig personal, god frukost!

Yksi parhaista hotellimajotus kokemuksista
