Really lovely midsized hotel with a great vibe and excellent services. Food was wonderful and fresh, it was amazing to have this included in the price. Nice quiet area too but close to good restaurants and transport. Room was really quiet and the bed comfy. Would definitely recommend!
Thomas
Great hotel, stayed there four times. It seems to be getting a bit more corporate in that they are charging for every extra amenity (umbrella, early check in, etc. ), but the meals are great and the location is perfect. Was a bit noisy this time, lost of banging and clanging, but that’s likely other guests. All in all, would still recommend highly.
darly
Absolutely beautiful the food is amazing 5/5 recommend to stay.

Wow, what an amazing hotel. I almost want to keep this a secret. Where do I begin? The hotel looks like an old castle. The reception hall is absolutely gorgeous and the details in all areas are beckoning to be discovered. Beautiful artwork along the walls. Very spacious and comfortable rooms with a coffee maker and real pottery mugs. Shower and bathroom very modern. There is A/C. Our room was very quiet. The linens felt luxurious, the beds were comfortable. With dinner and breakfast included, you would think that the food couldn't possibly be good--but it was, in fact, delicious. Breakfast consisted of pancakes, several options for bread, yoghurt with fruit, cheese, cold cuts, a shrimp salad, and other options that I most likely forgot. You can get coffee, tea, juice, and water. All in all, staff were helpful, polite, and very kind. I would come back to Helsinki just so I could stay longer at this hotel.

The dinner was amazing. Walkable from train station
Andre
Wonderful hotel, amazing historic building, and excellent food. Just a great place to stay.
Caroline
What a lovely place, with great character, a friendly staff and really good food! While it’s not exactly central, it’s within reasonable walking distance of the main places to visit (and public transportation is available nearby). My room was spacious, clean and modern. The common areas are pleasant and many services and amenities are available. The hotel offers half board (breakfast and dinner, as well as coffee time, aka fika) and i found this not only very convenient but also varied and tasty. The hotel is part of an eco-friendly chain and is very environmentally-friendly, which I liked (limited food waste, housekeeping on demand only…). Overall a very pleasant experience at a very reasonable price.

Near to everything, walkable all within a mile radius, city center, market square and most points of interests

Room was small but clean and comfortable- bed was very good. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent - perhaps 8pm for breakfast is quite late though, we missed breakfast on our last day because we had to leave at 8am.
Great value given meals are included - we really like the Home House Hotels.

This a hotel with lots of character and a friendly, homely feel. Having dinner included is a bonus - simple, everyday food but easy when you are on the move.
Stan
Good breakfast. Wonderful lobby. Small room

It's clean! Great place and good breakfast!

I would give it 6 stars if I could! My daughter and I had the most wonderful experience at this hotel. It truly is a home away from home. The staff is so welcoming and kind and the breakfast and dinner were incredible to have. Centrally located but a very peaceful area of the city. Just perfect!

We loved this hotel. Breakfast dinner and afternoon tea was included. It's in a beautiful old castle but totally updated.
We did have an issue though. Their is no room clean unless you request it. We had a 4 night stay and after the 2nd night I requested a room clean as our shampoo/ body wash bottles were less than a quarter fill. Our room was not cleaned that day as they said it would be but as I only told reception that morning I gave them another day. Again the room wasn't clean and we were totally out of everything in the bathroom. I believe after 3 days a room clean should be automatically done especially as towels and bathroom amenities required replacing. But again our room wasn't clean. We went down to reception and they had our towels changed and filled the bottles in the shower within half an hour of us. But I still believe after if a room is occupied by the 3rd night there should be an automate clean.

Really nice building and very comfortable room with everything we needed.
Tea & coffee was provided (but no milk for the tea but I hear that it's an absurd idea to have milky tea in Finland). However, I wasn't sure about the snacks and wine, were they complimentary or additional? Decided not to risk it.
The breakfast and evening meals were excellent and a BIG positive for this hotel over others we were looking at. Fika was a nice as well on the one occasion we were still in the hotel.
Didn't try the wellness room & sauna The sauna seemed to be only available for free use on a Sunday, maybe we should have clarified this with reception on arrival.
Location was good with easy walking distance to city and the beach. Have a paddle in the Baltic if you are brave enough! Whole hotel and surrounding area was peaceful & quiet.
We're not looking anywhere else to stay should we have the good fortune to come back to Helsinki.

I appreciated the historic nature of the property and how well that was preserved. The room was comfortable and quiet. The pillows were all a bit soft but there were several of them. The meals available everyday was a wonderful benefit. The exercise room was very nice. It was a short walk to the downtown area and there were a number of shops and restaurants in the hotel area.
Amanda
The staff were great, very helpful.
The included breakfast, afternoon coffee and dinner was brilliant. One main course only at dinner, but soup, plenty of salad and side dishes as well as drinks. Considering it is included in the price, we were impressed.
The room (compact Queen) was probably the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in - it was manageable, just. Very little space for luggage, and very little space to walk around the bed.
Over all - with all meals included -very good value, but I would probably choose a bigger room if we stayed again.

This was a very nice hotel to stay at for the week we were in Helsinki. With both breakfast and dinner included every day, it also was a great bargain. The staff were friendly and helpful both at the front desk and in the dining area. The location was excellent and we were able to walk to the harbor, to Downtown and everywhere we wanted to go. We would definitely stay here again.
Amaru
excellent alternative for your multi- night stay in Helsinki.

Spacious, good location, breakfast and dinner inclusive very useful for a city like Helskinki

You just can’t go wrong at this hotel. Was my third time.

I could not possibly be happier with my stay! The guest rooms were beautiful and cozy. The breakfast was the best that I have ever had at a hotel. Dinner was included as well and it was also very good when we stayed in. A beautiful gym that was perfect. The staff was over the top helpful. It will be the only place I will stay when in Helsinki.
Matt
The hotel was centrally located to either the train station or an easy walk to the old Market Square. It was very clean and the amenities were perfect. Breakfast was amazing! Had everything you need. An afternoon snack wasn’t expected but it was perfect for a quick pick me up. And they had dinner every night! Loved that option if you didn’t get what Helsinki had to offer. Staff were friendly. I would recommend this for any couple or families. I would stay again!
Geraldine
Clean room, beautiful cotton sheets.
Breakfast buffet, fika and dinner provided which is unusual in hotels I looked at. Buffet style and lovely salads and fresh made bread (delightful after lots of lacklustre bread elsewhere in Finland!).
The sauna you have to book in advance and is an extra charge.
Helpful staff.

All positive according to me. I strongly recommand this hotel. We did not know at first but breakfast and dinner are included and delicious.

Wonderful hotel, staff, and location. I loved that dinner was provided. I will definitely stay here again next time!

Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were also very good. The staff helpful and friendly.
The tram was one street away making it easy to get around.

Our room was super hot and we could not open a window or turn down the heat. We did change rooms, but still had the some problem. We also had a shower with see-through glass doors into the room which was awkward for friends. Bed mattress was very thin and not super comfortable. Quite small rooms compared to other hotels we stayed in in Helsinki.
Julie
The sauna was advertised but only for private use for a fee. This was not said in the hotel discription.

Loved this hotel!!
My husband and i had a wonderful stay at this hotel and in Helsinki.
Every member of staff from the moment we arrived to us leaving were so helpful and friendly.
Room was spotless with no noise heard from outside or inside. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom excellent, no solid wall between bedroom and bathroom, just glass.
Breakfast, fika and dinner was included in the price paid. Worth every penny!!! Personally, as a vegan,i was overjoyed with everything provided as well as staff's care and help. Each evening a vegetarian option, which is actually vegan, was cooked to order.
Location was great with everything needed on the doorstep or within very close reach.
Everything was great, i wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Valitsimme Home Hotel Jugend
Helsingin ennen kaikkea hotellin
ainutlaatuisen historian ja linnamaisen rakennuksen vuoksi. Halusimme
Huomasimme kuitenkin huoneen lattialla
pölyä sekä muutamia nurkkia, joita ei ollut siivottu aivan huolellisesti. Tämä oli pieni
miinus muuten miellyttävässä
kokonaisuudessa.
Plussaa myös hotellin kuntosalista
sekä pienestä jumppahuoneesta, jossa
oli Neurosonic-peti. Erityisesti illalla siellä
oli mukava rentoutua päivän päätteeksi.
Aamupala oli hyvin tasapainoinen:
valikoimaa oli riittävästi ilman, että
tarjonta olisi ollut liiallisen suuri.
Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja
palvelualtista koko vierailumme ajan.
Kaiken kaikkiaan vierailu oli
positiivinen kokemus, ja voimme
suositella Home Hotel Jugend
Helsinkiä erityisesti niille, jotka
arvostavat historiallista tunnelmaa,
hyvää sijaintia ja hotellin tarjoamia
aterioita.

A welcoming hotel in a beautiful area. The wellness facilities and gym are very good, and both breakfast and dinner are included and of good quality. The only drawback is the lack of a desk in the room
Joni
Todella kaunis paikka hyvällä sijainnilla. Aamupala olisi ehkä voinut olla monipuolisempi

Dejlig morgenmad og aftensmad. Centralt beliggende 😊
Maurizio
