We visited from the USA. This is by far the BEST hotel ever. The location is the GREATEST, as well as the staff: very polite, professional, and most importantly happy and kind :) Don't ever think about, just go ahead and book it.
Many thanks for your thoughtfulness, kindness, and professionalism. We would certainly visit again.

Staff was great, we had a very late check in but it was quick. Would stay here again.

It’s a nice newer hotel in the city center. Location is perfect because it’s close to everything like the restaurants, the coffee shops and the main railway station.
The style is modern designed room and a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom.
Quit room even located in the city center.

Great location. Next to the main station but well soundproofed. We had a premier room which was not large but very comfortable. Not sure how big the standard rooms are.
Breakfast was very good and all the staff were friendly and courteous.

Great location, can walk just about everywhere. Train station is next door so any connections to further away activities are no problem. Hotel is well run, quiet, and clean. Morning breakfast buffet is amazing.
Will definitely stay here again.

I would stay here, if I were you. Perfect hotel in the downtown. Modern style with home town services. We didn’t use the sauna as we were too busy exploring Helsinki but next time , for sure. Can’t go wrong with the breakfast buffet, fresh , healthy and plenty of choices. Try anything, it is delicious.
Maureen
Very clean, great location, amazing and responsive staff, comfortable bed, gorgeous modern bathroom, great views, quiet rooms, lovely lounge areas, fantastic sauna, clean fitness room! I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
Barbara
Room was clean and had all the amenities you would like to see. Could have used a third towel for miscellaneous, even if we were only a party of two in the room. Saunas were a nice plus, breakfast was as expected. Hotel was in a good location for easy get-around in the city. Parking is conveniently attached to the hotel from the elevator shaft, but would be nice if Scandic could help alleviate cost in some way by making a deal with Europark. Parking during the week was rather expensive, being charged the typical rate each night we stayed.
Nicholas
Perfectly located hotel right next to Central Station with Metro, tram and bus links also available. Staff friendly and attentive. Excellent breakfast offering with both hot and multiple cold options. Highly Recommended
Tonya
Very good location, it was convenient to many popular sites
MICHAEL
Great location to access to trains, trams, buses, etc. Security measures outstanding, clean atmosphere. Even with the temp as low as I could get on thermostat, was warm for my liking.
Diann
Breakfast buffet was great - plenty of variety, all delicious.

Amazing breakfast buffet. Also, sauna very nice.
Joanne
Nicely appointed and very clean room. We paid a premium for an 8th floor room which had a great view and tea/coffee. This was a short trip so we didn't use the sauna, restaurant and bars. Staff very helpful and excellent location.
Julie
Breakfast was excellent (vegan options available).
Penelope

Perfect location! The hotel was 2 minutes away from the train station but not noisy. Beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. And the breakfast had lots of variety.
Shopping? Super close as well. 10 out of 10, I would be happy to book again.

Very well maintained. Very comfortable bed. Nice staff. Great position.
Kyoko
Very convenient, right next to the central station, with a supermarket in front of the hotel. The view overlooking at oodi was nice, too. I wish they had longer time for the sauna, so I could use it (was a short stay)
They had a fridge filled with drinks and snacks (not for free), but didn't have an electric kettle, which I wanted.

A fantastic stay. Location, staff, room and breakfast. I would absolutely highly recommend.

Excellent location right next to Helsinki's main RR station. Make sure to exit on the Elias Square side, because there is another Scandic hotel (called Scandic Grand Hotel, dating from the same period as the station building) on the other side.
Great breakfast buffet as well.

Greta location right at train station. 30min ride to airport. Next to Oodi with nearby restaurants. The breakfast spread at the hotel was great
Jo
Everything was spot on. Room clean, comfortable, warm and light filled. Great view of the station, and street lights. Breakfast was unexpected and a great variety. Fresh and delicious. Staff helpful and courteous and we found the location great. Thanks for a fabulous stay.

The staff were courteous, and we were very pleased with our room, which offered a lovely view of the city. The location was also exceptional.

The room should have a separate fridge for the minibar, and complimentary bottled water should have been provided.

Simply Splendid!
Check in was smooth although there was a short wait due to a queue. Reservation staff friendly. Breakfast was very good, which to us were a range of healthy foods on offer. Room was of reasonable size with double bed, a small working table with chair in front of the TV, and free coffee making facilities. Unfortunately, there was no near power point socket at the working table which would make things easier when working though not an issue. Location of the hotel was definitely good for us, which was adjacent and within a less than five minutes walk after exiting the Helsinki Central Station. Centrally located with easy access to buses, foods (restaurants too), shopping malls and within walking distance to the Helsinki Market Square and some other attractions. Overall, Scandic Helsinki Hotel is a very good, nice, and value for money place to stay. We would certainly return to stay on our next visits and would highly recommend to others too.

O piso do banheiro estava gelado.

Fantastiskt hotell
Mycket fin frukost.
Kommer att komma tillbaka!

This is a conveniently located property, well maintained and offers good value for money. Highly recommended for solo travellers who only need a place to crash and store their bags while out and about exploring the city

Com certeza me hospedaria novamente.

Very convinient hotel for visiting the city and have the need to go early with the train or to the airport
