Excellent spa and bar. Unfortunately the buffet breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Very little options for a sweet tooth and if there is a queue to enter you get told to go to their bakery for additional price.

We ate in the Thai restaurant and enjoyed the food though the menu was quite limited compared to eating a Thai in the UK. Staff pushed the expensive banquet option quite hard but we struck with a la carte. We didn't feel the evening staff in the restaurant were as professional as the rest of the hotel staffing.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel St. George. We stayed in a Serenity Studio room which was a good size and had a lovely bathroom with a rain shower and underfloor heating. We had breakfast included which had a good mix of food as well as spa access which we’d recommend. You book slots to use the spa which meant it was never too busy. Hotel was in a great location and it had everything we needed and more. We’d definitely stay again.

I didn't know to expect. Trudged in after 27 hours travelling to Helsinki. Every single person was exceptional throughout my entire stay. The room was spacious, felt comfortable without being pretentious. Allison at the front desk had 3 solutions for any problem I encountered. Her ideas far exceeded my expectations. And the Thai restaurant? Food like no other. Come to the St. George in Helsinki. You will be so pleased you did.

“Serenity” rooms were not soundproof as stated online and you could hear all the noise coming up from the streets below. Staff recommended to make a reservation for breakfast and spa yet when you arrived, there was no reservation, but first come first serve basis. For 400 € per night there are plenty of great options close by.

Reception staff and restaurant staff were all wonderful, we had brilliant cocktails in the Wintergarden bar, and a great coffee at the bakery. I’ve no clue why this hotel is rated 5 stars. The rooms are average at best. The room service was the worst I’ve ever had. Pillows were uncomfortable. Granted, we were subjected to COVID restrictions that ruined the pool & sauna experience for us regardless of the hotel but the massage we’ve managed to snag was below par as well. Really nothing to write home about.

This hotel was fantastic. Located centrally, so walking was easy to all of downtown. The rooms was spacious and very comfortable. We had a corner unit on the second floor which was large and very quite. Didn't hear any road noise. Had a huge bathtub and nice shower. The soda stream in the room was a nice touch. The bar made really good drinks, but service was spotty. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The cafe downstairs is superb Too and the service was good. Brand new (2018) hotel in the centre of Helsinki - wonderful! Rooms are clean and spacious and it's centrally located nearby the railway station and within walking distance of most of the sites. The pool itself is quite small....not ideal for lap swimming (but there's always Allas Sea Pool!). Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The room was a little bit dusty as if the room had not been used for a while but the amenities in the room were great and it was good to have Sodastream. We really enjoyed Hotel St. George located in a very central part of Helsinki, close to everything. Nicely decorated and spacious room with a view of the streets below and houses above. Great beds to sleep in. Included breakfast was tasty with excellent service. We used the pool and sauna every day. Pool was a bit small the days we did not have it for ourselves. Also enjoyed an evening in the winter garden bar which served craft beer and hipster drinks. Service at check-in/out was smooth, so was the cleaning of the room. We highly recommend Hotel St. George if your gonna visit Helsinki.
