The hotel is nice and located close to our office. However if you arrive after 9.30pm there are very few options for eating as everything closes early in the area.

I was a bit reluctant initially as it was expensive. I needed to book 2 rooms. I am glad I did choose GLO for the following reasons:
1) The room was so quiet. Finland is quiet in general but having a super quiet room helped to adjust to the new time zone.
2) The ventilation system is superior compared to many hotels I have stayed at around the world. It's quiet and does the job properly so the room does not smell musty.
3) The room was small but that is typical of Europe. Did not feel suffocating thanks to the high ceiling. Also, the bathroom is an American size bathroom so it was a pleasant surprise.
4) Breakfast was top quality. Porridge was the best. There were many other options such as crepes. I felt I was eating high quality, good ingredients food like the whip cream and jam unlike high fructose garbage offer in hotels in America. Eating bad breakfast in American hotels will lead the population to needing American size bathroom.
5) The location is so convenient. It's fast to take the train to Helsinki or to the other direction. There are couple of supermarkets 2 minutes away to grab food. There is no unsafe area in Finland so I need not to comment about the safety of the areas outside of this hotel.
In conclusion, I am glad I chose GLO. I encourage American visitors to check out GLO to experience the difference in the architecture quality and food quality.

I have stayed at this hotel many times because it is close to our company’s Finnish office. This particular time, I was disappointed with my stay: hair on the bed, bed made in a rush in the mornings, tv not working one night... and the room rate was really high. If there were other hotel choices nearby, I would consider staying in another one. Let’s hope the standards will increase next time around.

The hotel was chosen as being close to the office I was working in. It is in a modern development about 20 minutes north of the city centre. There's not a lot to do here but the hotel is comfortable and service friendly and efficient.

The staff at the Glo is always friendly. My room was too hot and setting the temperature on the air con didn't make a difference. I reported the problem in the morning, and this was fixed when I got back to my room in the evening, and some chocolates were left in my room as a \"sorry\". That is what I called great customer service!

Last minute changes to our plans meant needing to find a place in to stay in the Leppavaara area. Next time I'm back in the area, I'll be staying here! We were greeted by a very warm and friendly staff member when we checked in late that night. The room was lovely! The bathroom was spacious, well-designed, and would have been the best feature until I laid down on the bed. The full breakfast in the morning is worth the extra euros. It was a full hot breakfast.

GLO Sello is consistent and comfortable. The breakfast has lots of variety for both European and American tastes. It's conveniently located next to a shopping center. Local restaurants are limited, however.

Great location and the hotel was clean and the room was very nice. I asked about a sauna and they said they did not have a sauna. This was Finland! How could a hotel not have a sauna???? They said that they \"partnered\" with a gym in the mall and that if I wanted to there I could for a fee of $12 Euro per day. It sounded more like I was partnering with the gym than the hotel. Buffet breakfast was pretty weak.

Room was not serviced on the 2nd day. no coffee and tea accessories in a room. Curtains are not closing a windows for 100%, so we were awaken in early morning with the day light. Location, breakfast, and parking are good.

The main thing the Glo Sello has to go for it is the location. It is close to a shopping centre, businesses, and has easy access to Helsinki with the train station only a couple of minutes away. Breakfast is pretty basic for its cost, rooms are comfy but not always very clean, and there is no gym or sauna facilities.
