Best possible hotel location if you need accommodation in the Espoo area. Next to the big shopping mall Ainoa, close to transportation (metro, bus station, taxi station), close to nature for execise and several good dining options.

Property was clean, no issues at all.
Some construction works are ongoing at the rear of the hotel which I did not know about. That started about 7am so might be early for other guests.
Small fitness room was adequate.
Food choice in hotel wasn't to my taste but that's not negative review of the restuarant in anyway - but there is a shopping mall less than 2 minutes walk with plenty of food choices there.

Really nice hotel, very close to the metro station which takes you to central Helsinki in 15 minutes but also very easy to get out of the city and into the countryside. The hotel was well maintained, clean and quiet. The breakfast was fresh and there were lots of options. I would definitely recommend.

Good hotel with friendly staff in a good location in Espoo.
Room cleaning needs improvement though. There was dust in the spots they don’t seem to check everyday (light fixtures, etc). But in all fairness this seems to be a common problem on this kind of property in Finland. Cleaning services are simply not good and thorough enougj.

Everything you need

An immaculately clean room with top quality beds, linen, and light-blocking curtains (helps with jetlag). Excellent breakfast included, as well as WiFi. Sauna available and also included. Walking distance / adjacent to all Tapiola amenities, shops and restaurants, but at the same time no need to go anywhere; the hotel’s own restaurant is excellent as well. The only thing that should be added is parking; we had to pay extra for that.. The metro takes you in minutes to downtown Helsinki.

Pleasant Hotel & Friendly Staff

A really pleasant hotel with friendly staff. Clean rooms with comfortable beds.
Parking is not cheap but you get a hotel discount.
It is located right next to a shopping centre and metro station with easy links to downtown Helsinki.
It's also next door to wonderful parkland with enjoyable walks.
The breakfast was good, coffee not good. I did not eat in the restaurant.

Expensive hotel for what it is....

Nice room, but hardly \"executive\", UK budget hotels can be quite similar. Arrived and told the sauna was already taken by a private guest booking, so not even this facility available. Breakfast good but had to share a table with a stranger as busy. Could not check out as the computers were down (at 8am) and had to leave credit card details and an email address. Not what you'd expect from a €200 hotel!

A nice hotel in Espoo

This is a hotel set near a park and a small shopping center. It is reasonably priced and comfortable. There are several restaurants within walking distance and the hotel restaurant is decent as well. The room that I stayed in had a musty smell. Overall this hotel is a very good value for the price.

You can see this was a great hotel when originally built.
Everything is functional but just old design.
The pool really is massive.
The local shops are overdue a refurbishment /replacement, but the area for walking is simply stunning.
Included breakfast was top quality with whatever you want easily available.

The only con is wifi connection, which is weak and almost impossible to talk on Skype in my room on 3rd floor. Everything else was fine but I have not tried sauna or swimming pool yet. Construction work has been on the site quite awhile.

Excellent hotel and close to my next day appointment. Construction site next door but they are using water spray to keep dust down and there was no noise. Request a room on the back side with a view over the water. Free WiFi (as it always should be - Australia take note please). Excellent buffet breakfast included in room rate. Good value for Helsinki.

Helsinki Area - Tapiola Sokos Hotel

Very nice, comfortable, well-managed, clean hotel with very accommodating and helpful bilingual staff. Staff is sensitive and proactive about addressing any issues no matter how slight, conveying an attitude of genuine interest in the comfort and well-being of the guest. Breakfast buffet every morning is plentiful and sufficiently diverse to create a proper and personally customized experience. Location of the hotel is very convenient for one wishing to visit Helsinki - just a 20 minute bus ride. You don't need a vehicle as the bus stops are right across the parking lot. One of the best features of the hotel is that it is quiet enough to allow for a good night's sleep every night.

Hotel Tapiola Garden, Tapiola Finland

We love this hotel! This is our third year staying there. It is moderately priced and conveniently located in the Tapiola Shopping Center about 10 Km west of Helsinki. There are buses into Helsinki (Kemppi) that leave about every 15-20 minutes. The bus ride is about 12-15 minutes.

However the best thing about this hotel is its staff. They are extremely helpful and friendly. Their staff gets an A+ from us.

The hotel restaurant is good, but a bit pricey. For a more reasonably priced evening meal, try the Stockmann's cafeteria on the third floor of that store (5 minute walk from hotel). Soup and Salad buffet with bread +butter for 9.70€! Open until 2030 on weekdaysTough to beat!

Convenient to my business meeting.

The hotel was quite pleasant, room well-designed and fast, free internet. It is Espoo, so some distance to downtown Helsinki for tourist purposes, but fine for my business location. Breakfast included and very good with many choices of cold and hot foods. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. The area has much construction at present, and the shopping area has been a little affected by this--not open late, few customers in many stores. I am sure when the work project (extending the subway to Espoo) is completed, this area will rebound and offer more options for dining/shopping. The hotel restaurant is Spanish-themed, and rather expensive (as are most hotels in the Nordic region). But the quality of food was adequate and wait staff cordial.

Big building project in area

Hotel is nicely restored and rooms are cozy and well designed.

Currently there is a big building project that affects parking and overall satisfaction. There was only about 20 parking spaces available and guiding to these was not well organised. I recommend using public transportation to get to the hotel until adjacent building will get ready.

Hotel itself is a good place to stay.

Nice hotel currently spoilt by major construction outside

A nice looking refurbished hotel on the inside but heating was not working properly in my room.

Not sure if it was particularly busy but breakfast left me with no empty table to sit at, judging by the number of people the setting area wasn't large enough. I found a place after a few minutes.

The hotel is currently spoilt by the extensive earth works out the front where they are constructing a new metro station!

Saying all that, I used to stay here quite regularly but would probably try a different Espoo hotel next time.....

Although it is rated as 4* hotel, don't expect to have coffee/tea & kettle in the room. It is not the $3-4 dollars extra that you got to pay in order to get a warm cup, but the fact that it is available only at the reception level! How on earth did they get 4*?

Nice hotel in the suburbs of Helsinki; when you don't have a car it's rather difficult to go to the city center. Good value for money. Only pity that the sauna was dirty; but that was maybe tough luck...

2 room family stay

Upon arrival, our hotel reservations could not be found, but the friendly staff checked us in and stated that the matter would be worked out later, which it was. We had 2 double rooms very close to each other with a view of the beautiful fountain and swimming pool from our balconies. The rooms were very clean, impeccably maintained, and nicely decorated with quality materials and tasteful decor. The hotel's location was quiet and peaceful and surrounded by large areas of beautiful flower gardens. The room was equipped with a hot water warmer and plenty of complimentary tea, coffee, coco, and bottled water.They provided bathrobes and slippers, which we used when walking to the sauna and the small indoor pool. We worked out in the gym in the morning - which was small, but contained excellent quality exercise equipment. It would have been perfect if a treadmill was present. The large and delicious buffet breakfast was included in the price and included a good variety of hot and cold foods. We will definitely return to this hotel when we visit Helsinki again.

I went to the Espoo Jazz Fest and found the Hotel walking distance from all the venues. It is fairly clean hotel with excellent and helpful staff. The pond behind the hotel would be nice provided ther is some maintenance done on it. I would stay here again and rate it 4 out 5 stars.

Restaurant service very slow depending on who you serves you. Quality of food good, but not especially Spannish!
Free wi-fi but not in reception/bar away from bedrooms.
Receptionist and barman both exceptionally helpful. I had a problem with my phone which the barman resolved for me and left my Wallet in the toilet and the receptionist retrieved it and returned to me after check out! Very commendable.
Helsinki centre only 10mins away.

Fint rum i trevlig omgivning med bra gym och frukost. Det är dock lite sådär med städning i rummet. I badrummwt fanns trädetaljer precis vid handfaten och där fanns en hel del kladd och gamla kladd fläckar-ochså på badrumsväggen. Det var det enda dåliga, det fanns hårbalsam vilket numera bara finns sällan i hotel-det var trevligt.

Ehdin saunaan vielä klo 20.45, jossa sain viipyä yksin. Kävin pulahtamassa uima-altaassa. Lumenen tuotteita oli tarjolla ihonhoitoon.

Istuskelin iltateellä parvekkeella, ihmetellen kaukaista liikenteen melua. Mäntymaisema ja ohikulkevat rauhoittivat tunnelmaa.

Yö oli sopivan viileä, kun asensimme tuulettimen sopivaksi. Ei melua. Nukuin rauhallisesti.

Tykkään kovasti Tapiola Gardenista, ja haaveilen jo seuraavasta lomasta siellä.

Hotel vermutlich aus den 60er oder 70er Jahren, aber relativ frisch renoviert und in sehr gutem Zustand. Zimmer gut, mit Balkon. Freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Restaurant leider Sonntag abends geschlossen, aber an der Bar gibt's noch was zu trinken.
Verkehrsgünstig gelegen, man ist in wenigen Minuten mit der Metro in der Innenstadt von Helsinki. Für einen Städtetrip Helsinki durchaus empfehlenswert.

Elendig start på opholdet, havde fået værelse på 2 etage, hvor de også indkvarterer hunde. I vore naboværelser var 2 eller flere store hunde og de gøede helt vildt. Værelset var iskoldt. Klagede 2 gange til receptionen, der første gang virkede stort set ligeglad. 2. Gang forstod damen dog alvoren og vi fik i stedet et værelse på 4 sal uden hundeglam og med varme. Derefter har opholdet fungeret udmærket. Morgenmaden rimelig med både varmt og koldt og frem for alt nærende. Hvis man som almindeligt rejsende holder sig væk fra 2 etage, hvor de indkvarterer hunde, er det et udmærket hotel til en fornuftig pris.

Epämieluisa yllätys oli, että huoneessa oli 3 sänkyä eikä 2. Sen vuoksi 2 hengen nojatuoli oli tiellä ja siihen löi kipeästi varpaansa. Ylimääräinen sänky ei ollut kiinteä vaan tilapäinen sänky tilaa viemässä.

Ruokailussa aamulla oli,timgosta urheilijoiden vuoksi, mutta henkilökunta varasi meille 2 hengen pöydän, jonka urheilijat olivat varanneet itselleen turhaan. Hyvä palvelu.

Koronan vuoksi saunavuoro piti varata, mikä aiheutti hämminkiä. Olin sitten tuntemattoman äidin ja kahden lapsen kanssa miesten saunassa.

Toisen yön toinen huone ei ollut täysin siivottu, minkä huomasin.

Keittiö tarjoili pyynnöstäni maukkaita pikkukahvileipiä aamiaisella.
