Highly recommend, Finland at it's best

Arriving was such a great experience, how check in should be, almost immediate and giving useful information.
The room was clean and spacious, the scenery out the window divine 😍.
The only improvement I could recommend is to have a fridge in the room, although again the staff were lovely giving free ice for our water jugs. The was also no control for heating, so it did get a little warm later in the summer day, but I guess it's a minor quibble.

The areas around is fantastic, and true Finnish beauty.
Breakfast was a bit basic, and the gluten free options were not so great, but at least they did have some.
Dinner however was far better, and almost everything can be made gluten free, vegetarian etc, and was very nice.

Finally, for those reliant on Uber or Bolt, you can get taxis but you may have to wait occasionally. I used the timed feature to collect for the airport, and this worked very well, and was much cheaper than using the local taxi company.

Lots to do!

Great amenities, delicious breakfast (they even had chia pudding!), food at the restaurant is tasty ( best of Nordic cuisine) and all the facilities for a great stay (you can borrow rackets for squash, badminton) or balls for outdoor sports during the summer, all free of charge!

Beautiful area, very quiet. Hotel is clean and updated. Breakfast is very basic, not much to choose from. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. The room has one type of dispenser soap for everything. No coffee maker, no usb chargers, no shoe horn. Staff is very accommodating.

Hotel in nice calm surroundings, reasonable price

Hotel Korpilampi is in a nice setting, surrounded by nature and we found our stay peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are not as modern as some hotels in the helsinki/espoo area, but they were adequate for our needs.

The staff were helpful and accommodating, I had my 9 year old son with me and they made a bit of effort to keep him happy as regards food and a drink with an umbrella.. these little things make a difference for a 9yo.

We would stay here again.

Relaxed, high quality, wonderful staff, wonderful breakfast choices even for modern, healthy diets.

Well maintained indoor pool, and beautiful views from all the windows. I hope to return for another stay and will be more prepared for the no fridge in the room, but good, affordable, healthy food options upon request 24 hours. (They have more than homemade pizza if you ask).

I would love to update the Brutalist-1979 influenced architecture and find local art students to paint the big dull building with murals of trees to help the building blend in with the real trees to look more appealing.

It would be really cool to get temperature sensitive paint that can change to make it look like there is snow on the trees when it is cold, and during the summer the trees in the mural turn all green. Or a gloss that turns white like snow when it is cold.

Making the outside more appealing will match better the good feeling inside and the gorgeous lake and tree views all around.

we arrived late at night, later than expected due to traffic and bad weather. this was supposed to be a highlight on the last day of our trip, before we would depart from Finland the next day. We had booked lake vie but initially got a room with a view onto a truck car park. after complaining we could change, supposedly to a lake view. we checked out 2 different rooms but they did not have lake view either (even though we were told so) they just were facing the lake but view wing the garden. That also did not change with day light ;-) Getting the wrong in the beginning (things can happen...) and still not getting the lake view even if we were told so after changing rooms twice, was very weird. I want to be fair since the next day,the manager took EUR 20 of our bill and the room was ok and clean. But it was not what we expected and we felt tricked somehow...we probably would not come back..

Hotel clean and efficient. For a one night stay over in Espoo on business absolutely fine. Nothing wrong just is basic and does what it needs to do. No toiletries or drink making facilities in room. Breakfast a good basic selection of options on offer. Very child friendly if you take children I noticed.

Hotel surrounded by beautiful nature

It was a pleasant stay. It is ideal hotel for families with a nice swimming-pool and a site to jump straight into the lake wth amazing forest surrounds. There is the possibility to play badminton and go to the gym. Moreover, there are nice forrest paths and beach close by.

A good place to stay if you like privacy

I did have a good-night sleep in this hotel.
The reception was friendly and quick and the room was an ordinary two-bed room. A complimentary sauna and swimming pool plus a good breakfast was included into he price.

It was located not-far-away from the Helsinki airport. To get there one shall have an own car.

Forest Hotel next to the Serena ski/water park

The hotel location and forest setting is magnificent. However, the room was a bit dusty, and the breakfast buffet was very basic (not your normal Scandi tourist fare). The hotel had a nice kid's playroom (a pleasant surprise) and the pool area was fine with a nice terrace into the (frozen) pond. We had the hotel pizza, and I recommend takeout from one of the local restaurants in Klaukkala.

Perfect for conference but not travelers

This place is very secluded with small lake behind the hotel. Perfect for conference but not for travelers especially when you don't have car. Far away from anythings such as shops, stores, restaurant, airport, etc. We can't control the temperature of your room.
If you come on the weekend, no food or restaurant. The hotel sell very minimum cold food, and of course they are not willing to warm your food. (their response: \"we don't warm food\").
Swimming pool open at 5 pm but they have exercise class, which the teacher said that we have to wait until the class over.

Dull, soul-less with little going for it

First impressions in reception were good, but unfortunately that's where it ended. The rooms are in a separate building, which is mass poured concrete walls. The room is small, and the ensuite is tiny and very dated. Overall the hotel is a soul-less dreary place.

Affordable hotel near to the nature and Helsinki

Very friendly staff at the reception and in the bar. Hotel is a bit of a labyrinth but you can always ask if you don't get your way around.
Bar terrace has very lovely views, drinks a bit pricy though. They also sell wine bottles in the reseption. You are allowed to take those to your room too and they even give you the wine glasses to go with it!
Next morning went to the pool at 7. We were the only ones there at that time. Separate saunas to men and women, small jacuzzi a bit to get in...even more hard to get out. Also a pool to swim in and one for the kids. Nice views from the windows.
Breakfast was .plenty of food to choose from. For the first time in a hotel -(and I have been in many) -they actually served crispy bacon! They also served for example rösti-potato-buns and mushroom salad that are not common to see in the selection of a hotel breakfast.
All and all very priceworthy hotel just 30 mins drive from Helsinki.

The Hotel staff were really friendly and always happy to help me with any questions and with directions and transport times, my room was nice and clean and a good size, it was really good as they have a bus stop near enough outside which had buses regularly going to so i could get into town, the food at the restaurant was amazing and will recommend it to other people

Quiet and secluded beautiful break

A stunning location with a room overlooking a frozen lake and fairy tale snow scene. Fantastic service by friendly staff and intensely clean. Only one vegetarian option on the menu but I am sure they would have made us something else if we had asked. 50 minutes by bus to Helsinki - a lovely capital city.

Located on small lake that is lovely for a swim on a warm day, in pleasant surrounding woods, only 25 min from airport (overhead plane noise is noticeable), good access (by car) to local lakes, woods, hiking, golf and not far from Helsinki. Rooms were OK but lack of aircon meant that they were stuffy even when it wasn't that hot outside - opening the small window vent gave some relief, only to be woken by delivery vans at 6:30 on a Saturday morning! There is a small indoor pool but it doesn't open until 5pm and there are un-mixed saunas (no costume variety) - massage was good and reasonably priced. Food was generally of decent quality although the evening menu was limited especially if you're staying a few nights - we didn't find any alternative restaurants in the area. No lunch is served but you can buy snacks from the front desk - quality / variety could be better. Staff were friendly and helpful. Karaoke with the locals on Saturday night not to be missed!

A unique hotel located at a beautiful, quiet setting. The staff is friendly and courteous. The interior has been renovated and the rooms are comfortable plus modern so do not let the older exterior disturb you. Pool and dining areas have beautiful views of the pond and the surrounding rocky hills.

A quick getaway

We stayed at Korpilampi hotel for one night, arriving late from Helsinki airport and heading on the next afternoon. The hotel was an excellent choice - an easy 15 minute drive from the airport, hospitable staff and a spacious room, topped with a good breakfast, a morning swim (you can choose between a small pool (in the morning open only between 7 and 10 am), or indeed the Korpilampi lake) and a walk in the forests surrounding the hotel. A good choice for e.g. families with children who want to get out of the city.

We had a very nice stay here. It is about 35-30 min. from downtown Helsinki, but we found the bus system fairly easy to use, and less expensive than a taxi. Rooms are small, but not cramped. Breakfast included was nice, and had a lot of options.

This hotel is just outside Helsinki in a rural area by a lake and woods. You will want to have a car if you stay here. It is a beautiful area and you can get to Helsinki downtown in 45 minutes and Espoo in 30 minutes. It is near a nice waterpark (you can walk there) which kids like. The breakfast and service are great. They also have a swimming pool and sauna (only open in mornings and evenings). The rooms are large and ours had a bed and a couch. The couch could make into a bed.

Huoneet oli siisti ja vuodevaatteet oli puhtaita, hyvä ravintola mutta valitettavasti kaikki sauna ja uima puolet haisi hometta. Mielestäni hotellin ympärillä oleva tilat ei ylläpidetty hyvin, kaikki hotellin valokuvat ei vastaa oikeita. Siellä oli vain kaksi pientä tavallista saunaa ja vain kaksi suihkua. Ja pientä ei lämmintä poreallas , en suosittele muille.

Huone oli mukava. Allasosasto saunoineen oli mukavan retro-henkinen. Uima-altailta pääsi ulkoterassille ja terassilta pääsi myös lampeen uimaan.

Ravintolassa oli ystävällinen palvelu ja hyvä ruoka. Aamupalalla olisi voinut olla enemmän kasvisvaihtoehtoja, mutta aamiainen oli muuten maittava.

Huone oli siisti. Se vastasi juuri sitä, mitä olimme tilanneetkin. Asiakaspalvelu oli asiallisen rentoa.

Jälleen kerran yövyttiin Hotelli Korpilammella. Yleensä aina on huone ollut siisti ja viihtyisä. Mutta nyt oli huoneessa tunkkainen haju sen huomas heti kun meni sisään. Oli pakko pitää tuuletusluukkua auki se vähän auttoi asiaa. Ehkä tunkkaisuuden teki kokolattiamatto ? Sauna osastolla oli mukava viettää aikaa saunoa, uida ja käydä Korpilammessa kastautumassa. Sängyt oli hyvät ja varsinkin kun oli oma tyyny mukana :) Aamupala oli todella monipuolinen ja maukas.

Nettisivuilla hehkutetaan ekologisuutta ja erikseen mainitaan vegaanivaihtoehdoista, mutta pettymys koitti. Ravintolan annokset olivat pieniä ja hintavia. Aamupalalla vegaanille oli leipää ja chiavanukasta. Vegaaniset leivänpäälliset piti erikseen keittiöstä pyytää. Vohveleitakaan ei kuulemma vegaanisena pystynyt tekemään.

Ilmastointi oli bonusta, mutta illalla huoneessa oli liian kuuma nukkumiseen, eikä huonekohtainen säätö ollut mahdollinen.

Korpilampi itsessään ihana ja kävelimme myös Luukkiin.

Huoneessa olisin toivonut olevan jääkaappi ja vedenkeitin, koska kävelyetäisyydellä ei kauppoja ole. Respasta sai kahvia (3€).

Vaikka itse hotelli(ulkoa!) ei ole kauneudella pilattu, jollei viehäty juuri 70-luvun kolkosta arkkitehtuurista, MUTTA ympäröivä luonto on aivan mielettömän ihana!! Se, että saunasta pääsi altaan lisäksi uimaan ihanaan metsälampeen oli todella mahtavaa❤️

Huoneemme oli siisti ja siinä oli kaunis metsäkuva”tapetti” yhdellä seinällä. Aamupala oli runsas ja hyvä (oli vohveleitakin!). Saunat olivat päällä aamulla ja illalla.

Paikka on ympäröivän luonnon takia niin ihastuttavan rauhallinen, että mieli lepäsi!

Super mysigt läge, underbart att sitta i restaurangen och äta! Kändes som att man satt ute i skogen! 🌲 En nackdel på frukosten var äggröran som var blaskig och korven var inte alls god. Olemme käyneet monta kertaa. Huoneeseen oli tehty pintaremontti. Sänky oli hyvä, tyynyt ei niin hyviä. Ilmastointia ei voi säätää. Puhalsi kylmää ilmaa lujaa. Suurin miinus tulee siitä että joka kerta huoneet haisevat samalle kuin vanhain kodissa. Ei kovin mukava haju. Hinta on hyvä koska aamiainen sisältyy siihen. Tällä kertaa oli vähän huonompi valikoima. Saunaa ei lämmitetä arkiaamuisin. Hyvät ulkoilu alueet lähellä. Siksi menenme luultavasti uudestaan.

Rauhallinen paikka mahtava ympäristö

Rauhallinen paikka luonto ja ulkoilu mahdollisuudet mahtavat. Tarkoitus oli illastaa hotellin ravintolassa illalla, mutta ravintolassa oli iskelmä tapahtuma ja tarjolla vain buffet mikä oli pieni pettymys. Iskelmä musiikki oli kuitenkin toisaalta ihan kiva yllätys vaikka lapsille musiikki aika kovalla. Sauna osasto oli ihan hyvä. Mahdollisuus uida lammessa ja pääsy saunaosastolta iso +.

Luonnonläheinen paikka. Allasosasto siisti ja vesi miellyttävä +28/30°. Ruoka erinomaista. Kallis aulabaari. Huoneen vaatekaapisto riittämätön vaatteille.

Kiitos ja kumarrus

Huoneen ikkuna olisi kaivannut pesijää jo viime vuonna. Todella kauniin maiseman ihailua esti huono näkyvyys.
Huoneemme oven väljyyden ratkaisimme laittamalla pahvisen kiilan oven rakoon. Piti häiritsevää muksetta kun lähellä olevia avattiin/suljettiin.
Nämä ei ole valituksia vaan pieniä korjaus ehdotuksia.
Kiva paikka menisin toistenkin jos tarvetta olisi.

Ohuet seinät tai ainakin huonot äänieristykset ulkorakennuksen huoneissa. Naapurihuoneessa juteltiin yömyöhään ja kaikki kuului omaan huoneeseeni. Jääkaapin puuttuminen miinusta.

Viihdyimme

Hyvä pikku irtiotto arjesta, lampilenkki lumessa kahlaten ja sitten saunomaan ja uimaan, lampipulahdus hieno elämys. Hotelli sisältä todella hieno ja viihtyisä. Ravintola myös hyvä, teimme varauksen etukäteen ja Korpiburgerit maistui.

Miellyttävä korpihotelli nostanut tasoaan

Huoneessa oli liian lämmintä, nukkuminen häiriintyi kun oli liian kuuma. Jostain kuului ovien pauketta yllä,herkkäunisena se tietysti häiritsi. Aamupalalla oli jonoa jomnkin verran, kun tyttöjen palaajaporukka sattui samaan aikaan, mutta selvisivät aika nopeasti pöytiin. Aamupala pöydästä jotkin ruovat olivat loppu, kun iso ryhmä tuli kerralla. Hotelli nostanut kyllä tasoaan ja lauantai iltana olisi ollut tanssitkin tarjolla, tosin ei jaksanut eikä ollut tanssikengät mukanakaan.

Rauhallinen majoituspaikka.

Ihan Ok paikka, kaunis luonto ympärillä. Huoneesta puuttui jääkaappi ja ikkunasta näkyi viereisen rakennuksen seinä. Muuten hyvä 👍

Hotelli oli positiivinen yllätys. Vaikka tilat jo hieman vanhahtavat, silti oli siistiä ja esim. pesutilat hyvin toimivat. Erityisen maininnan ansaitsevat henkilökunnan ystävällinen palvelualttius ja ravintolan ruoka sekä aamiainen olivat erinomaiset!

Mahtava yöpymispaikka korpilammen vierellä

Ihana paikka ja siisti hotelli, erityispisteet siitä että lampeen pääsi uimaan ja oli erittäin hyvä aamupala
