The room was spacious and clean. I had a balcony, which was cool... bathroom good sized, needed some more horizontal space to put things, but was pleased with its cleanliness and moderness. Great hot water!

Good sized room, AC working well was a bonus. Great breakfast. despite warnings of noise, we were pleasantly surprised; city street noises but quieted down plenty of sleep. Staff was kind and accommodating.

The hotel is centrally located. As long as you pay and don't run into any issue, no problem. But if any problem comes up, don't expect management to help you. I lost all my money during one stay (no break-in). When i mention it to the (operation) manager, he assure me that he'll look into it right away, he'll investigate it immediately, and they'll find out who enter my room on that night (previous stay). Yet, never once did he ask me for any details about the incident such as what date, or time, or even what room i stayed in. Makes you wonder what is he going to investigate.

I booked a standard they provide ne a deluxe instead upon checking in the staff never inform me about upgrade i never for.
What happen was that room had a share balcony between 2 room side by side i was surprise they provide me that deluxe with a damage lockset. The whole night i was awake till morning cos stranger can easlly ecess to my room.
The next morning i told tge receptionist she is aware if the defect lockset.
Meaning is that they are risking the life for no reason.
Avoid this for christ sake.
I checkout the next morning 27/6/2022.

This is my second time staying in this hotel. Excellent stay there. Can easily hire a taxi with the help of hotel staff. Simple breakfast but their noodle soup is delicious. I left my haversack in the taxi after shopping. Luckily the hotel staff were able to retrieve it for me.
Thumbs up for their excellent services.
Will definitely stay there again.

The facilities were clean and hygienic. There was the odd problem with the hot water service of the showers/basin taps, however, this was rectified. A small problem with the toilet - NOT full flushing as well.

This is the 4th time we have stayed in this hotel. Ideal for the start when you land 20 mins from airport. Staff are lovely hotel is located in vibrant busy area round the corner but quiet hotel. Clean rooms good breakfast. comfy beds! BONUS! All round just the ticket!

Good Value and close to Walking Street

This is a nice hotel close in the Tourist area and close to Walking Street. My rate included breakfast which was very good and i would recommend including it with your rate. The location is good and bad depending on what you are interested in. its close to alot of things, but there are two large loud night clubs across the street so the room is filled with their noise until 2am or so. So dont plan on sleeping early. otherwise find another location. the staff is very nice and the rooms are good. its a great value i felt.

This is the 2nd times i stay in this hotel , what i like is location . opposite is a club so if you are a light sleep i advise you to avoid this hotel . on the 2nd day i’m not sure why the the house keeping person cleaning the opposite of my room making so much noise in the early morning without considering if he/she are disturbing others sleeping . I can hear the door slamming 8-9times so loud .

Had to ask three times for air conditioning to be fixed.

My good wool sports coat was sent out clearly marked DRY CLEANING but came back unpressed looking like it had been washed and tumble dried - leaving me in the lurch for a major public event. .

Cosy stay in Liberty

Location is perfect for traveller like me near to the Bui Vien Street and Ben Thanh market. Room was clean and its condition also nice but since this hotel is located near the crowded area, the noise from there cannot be avoided. However, I love to stay here again !

It was nice to be able to check in early. Very friendly staff. The room was OK but very noisy and very bright. There's a glass wall between bathroom and room next to the bed and the bathroom doesn't have curtains making the room very very bright early in the morning.

In the middle of the tourist and shopping areas.

Mine was just a short 4 day visit to Ho Chi Mein to revisit some of the places I enjoyed during my 19 months living there. Enjoyed some really good messages and did shopping for my girls. Oh! Don't miss the Jamo a Almond Fudge ice cream just around the corner.

The Hotel Liberty Saigon Greenview was awesome to me while I was staying at Ho Chi Min. I strongly recommend this Hotel if you are tourist because it was really convenient to travel around. Also the breakfast was good and clean, Above all, the staffs were soooooo kind.

Worst Hotel Experiance I Have Ever Had!

I arranged a shuttle pick up from the airport through email and received several confirmations. However it took 3days to get a confirmation when trying via email and calling the hotel. No answer. They replied the evening before my arrival. Then I got to the airport to find no pick up. We waited for 45min, read over the directions from the hotel yet again and nothing and no one. When we arrived the manager decided to yell/scold us on where we were and why didn't I call them. I reread him his own email, and said we waited over 45min, asked around and no one was there. He was mean and aggressive, unprofessional.

Then to top it all, the two nights we stayed, there was a concert going on to the wee hours of the morning, that was so loud you couldn't do anything. Watch TV, talk to anyone, etc. It was so loud you could hear the rumble in your chest and it shock the windows and doors. The minor things compared to the horrific noise was that their internet was out and I called for help and they wanted access to my personal computer to change a bunch of stuff, when it was their connection problem. I wouldn't let them and then some how it miraculously worked. They were also rude and abrupt and just seemed shady. The morning I left, the air conditioner flooded the hotel room like a waterfall coming from the sky. I recommended this hotel to 2 other friends who also had this horrible experiance, and it was a horrible ending to my trip. I spent more money on this hotel than any other.

Room was very spacious, full of bars/night life nearby, very safe. On one of the main streets so could be loud in the morning with car honks. Night time was ok. We stayed on the 5th floor. Breakfast was amazing, buffet style, lots of food to choose from. Also allowed us to store luggage after check out till late night. Good service.

I have stayed here a couple of times in the last two years and have not got any negative experience to share.

Staff are friendly, polite and do their best to help out with any of our concerns.

Rooms are clean and air condition was working throughout without failing.

Breakfast did not have much variety but it is sufficient to get your day started (e.g. cereals, breads, cheeses, fruits, local cakes, porridge, egg station, noodle station).

Only a 15 minutes walk to ben thanh market and there is a lot of restaurants, bars, pubs, coffee places in the vicinity. There is also a pharmacy below which was great as the pharmacist is fluent in English and knowledgeable about conditions (had to do a late night run to get medication as my dad had a gout attack). A new plaza, Taka Plaza, just opened opposite the hotel. There is a food court, supermarket, restaurants and a shopping area which makes things very convenient as well. There are many tour agencies in the same street as well, making it easy to book for buses to head to other cities in Vietnam.

Definitely a great hotel to stay at!

Had a great stay, only negatives were only one lift, with limited capacity, so could spend a long time waiting. Breakfast was good but there was not enough seating at peak times and access to breakfast buffet somewhat cramped. Final day if I had been on a tighter deadline breakfast would have been missed due to no seating (yes I did leave plenty of time).

Booked 2 nights at Greenview Liberty. The hotel was satifactory enough and the breakfast was great.
This hotel is on a busy main road and also on a corner block of another busy road so traffic noise was constant... Alot of tooting drivers in Vietnam.
This is no fault of the hotel but if you want to stay somewhere quite, this is not the place.
Apart from the traffic noise and constant tooting the hotel is in a backpacker area and the pub across the corner street has doof doof loud music that shakes the building till 2am. I couldnt sleep!!
We stayed in a room with balcony that was in the curvature of the building facing the corner road intersection.
The bed was in a awkward position in this curvatured room because there was no room to walk around the bed.
If you like that then this will be a nice hotel to stay as its clean and the staff are friendly and breakfast is lovely.
I do not mean to be negative but im informing others of my experience. Its a nice hotel but the area was too noisy for me.

Liberty is the way to stay in Vietnam

This was my third time staying at the Liberty. I love this hotel. The rooms are fabulous, everything a person could hope for. The staff are very good and at times exceptional. I feel the Liberty is the perfect hotel for any westerner visiting HCM (Saigon) for the first time. You will feel perfectly safe and right at home. I got the Excutive Suite. Our room was on the 4th floor, away from street noises and other unnecessary distractions. The room was very clean, which is really important to me. The bathroom was very classy, and gives a feel of American-European style with an all-glass separation into the bedroom. All commodities were available with nothing missing. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and relaxed.

One last thing, the hotel is pretty strict in term of visitors. I had some friends who stayed in a nearby hotel that visited after 10PM, and they were denied access even though they had their passports ready to be held at Reception; the hotel refused to allow them to visit after 10PM regardless of reason. That can be a good and bad thing, but I was preferred the former.

Clean, modern hotel

Everything was great and it's nicely tucked at the backpacker's area. Hotel looks relatively new hence everything is clean and crisp. Staff can speak English and cabs were readily available across the street. Only down side was that the room was much smaller than the photos.

Book for 2 adults, hotel collected extra US$15 during check in as they say my girlfriend is a local.

Good modern hotel

The hotel in in the centre of backpackers street so everything is very close. We had a great time here and would recommend this hotel to others that want a hotel where everything is in good condition and works, which is hard to find in cheaper hotels in the area.
The doorman would also cross the street to help us across the road when he saw us get out of a taxi, thank you!

This is my second stay at the hotel (1st was before renovation). Stayed for 3 days and pleasant feeling, especially the staff were helpful and attentive. However, not all junior staf have uniforms, which at times made identity a little difficult.

I like that it's newly renovated but it is right next to a busy street so if you want to sleep into the morning you can pretty much forget about it. The windows are way too thin so you can hear everything and it's loud. Other than that, it's a nice space. Some of the staff was nice and some were rude. Location to center is good.

Small room Hotel undergoing renovation

The room was recently updated but although newly painted it was so tiny we struggled to find space for our 2 suitcases. The bed was on a raised platform which meant if you got up in the night to the bathroom you could easily trip over.
The was no arm chair to relax in or hang clothes on. There were jackhammers going down the hallway all evening which made for an unpleasant afternoon rest.

If you decide to stay here dont leave yiur luggage with the concierge because he will open it and steal your valuables
He stole my new I phone and when I complained to the reception the man at tge reception simply told ne that it was not his responsibility instead of even enquiring about same , so you would save money a few dollars at this hotel but will receive rude people at the hotel

Great location in District 1, walking distance to many attractions. Nice park outside and supermarkets near by. Staff was friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was ok, many options. On the downside I had paid extra for city view which we did not get, because there was no such rooms available upon check in. The hotel itself feels a bit old, but is kept neat and tidy.

Overall it was a good room and the breakfast was more than adequate. The hotel is right in the middle of Saigon and there is heaps of stuff in District 1 that is in easy walking distance. Tour bookings, including Sinh Cafe, are just around the corner. The coffee at the coffee shop in the building was surprisingly ok (I am an Aussie coffee snob). The noise in the room was fairly minimal considering the location - we were on the 7th flood. But, there was construction work next door that started at 0700 which you would have had to have been deaf to sleep through. Didn't bother us this time as we had an early start but a fellow traveller three floors below also had issue with the noise and the 0630 laundry drop-off after a night of indulgence and exploration. Taxi from airport was about 200,000 dong.

Clean hotel, friendly English-speaking staff, free wifi access in room, movie channel available on tv. However, breakfast buffet spread is limited.

Nice place

Nice hotel in the backpacker district which is a great location.

Staff were polite and helpful. After reading another person's comments on this website somewhere about contacting a hotel to send a car for airport pickup, I did this. It was great. There was someone to meet me at the airport and call the driver who was parked nearby.

Breakfast was excellent and included.

Tour - booked through hotel - did not return me after day 1 tour back to hotel and left me a few streets away. Fortunately other English people staying at a nearby hotel walked me most of the way back. I told the staff at my hotel and they contacted the tour company and told them the next day after the tour to bring me back to the hotel. They did that - they actually dropped me across the road and I had to negotiate crossing the street - fortunately others from the tour had to too. If you have ever been to Ho Chi Min you'll know how much of a challenge it is to cross the street.

When I arrived back at the hotel and needed to go to a pharmacy and was too afraid to cross the streets by myself due to the chaos of traffic there - they organised for someone to walk with me to the pharmacy and walk me back, which was great.

This is a basic but comfortable hotel and great breakfast. It's in a good and safe location.

Variable quality rooms, communication not good

Stayed at L3 with 3 friends, + daughter who lives here. My room was lovely, but others were variable. My friend's 'upgraded room' was spacious with a lounge, but the bathroom was poky and old. Whilst friendly and wanting to be helpful, the Reception staff had patchy English. It was hard to make ourselves understood. On a previous visit I stayed at The Elios (presently undergoing restoration). Elios is much cheaper, with fine staff and a much better breakfast. I love staying in the 'backpacker's' area, but would suggest Elios for an 'over-all' rating. That said, the rooms were very clean, and my bathroom was lovely. I would stay again, but I'd learn a little Vietnamese to speed up the service!
