Horrible experience. The staff is very unprofessional and dishonest. I had an emergency with change in my plans and messaged Expedia way before the check-in date to cancel my reservation which Expedia agreed on if the hotel could agree. I messaged the hotel that replied (delayed BTW) but instead of agreeing or not, just kept saying that Expedia should be the one to agree on cancelling (which they had already done!) Then, when I explained to the hotel that Expedia already agreed, they ignored me and never replied! In the end the hotel was just trying to buy some time so check-in time would commence and I would not be able to cancel anymore and would lose my money. Very dishonest! Stay away!

the staff were very good and friendly, all those receptionists who worked at counter (front desk) day and night. securities, and peoples who worked at breakfast bar nice and friendly. But only thing made me mad cause I got Lancome foundation and lipstick it's inside my suitcase on top of that I had one set of my clothes, but I don't know who was open my suitcase and took it, also took my adapter to change shape of my iron hair style.
I really mad cause open my personal stuff and steal those; the foundation I bought it plan to give to my high school teacher so that while I disappoint when it loose.
Frist, I thought maybe girls who clean up my room on Jan 21-23, but when I couldn't find the adapter then I think only the men who can have Knowles about electrical. I's very sad about situation one person can affect all hotel and another good employee like that.

WE WALKED OUT AND CHECKED INTO ANOTHER HOTEL DESPITE LOSING ALL OF OUR MONEY…$1000 APPROXIMATELY. I DESERVE BETTER

I originally booked a room with 2 max occupancy and had a traveling companion stay with me for initial week I was staying. When my companion left (which reduces the occupancy by 1), I invited a friend over past 9pm the same day and was forced to pay for another room for 1 night just to have them visit. I have stayed at other hotels like The Reverie and was never treated like a money machine over at those other hotels. It is a ridiculous policy to force you to pay more money just to have people visit you late, so if you are looking for guest friendly hotels this is NOT it. Go with other hotels in the area where they actually care about accommodation rather than profit like Nikko Saigon or Reverie.

Ich würde diesen Hotel noch nicht einmal meinen Feinden empfehlen.

Ihr solltet einen Riesen Bogen um dieses Hotel machen.

Lieber würde ich auf der Straße übernachten anstatt nochmal hier.

Die Zimmer sind klein.

Frühstück, da hatte ich das Gefühl das manches von gestern war.

Das Personal, das was ich schreiben werde gilt nicht für alle, der ein oder andere ist in ein fettes Näpfchen getreten.
Letzter Tag mussten wir spät fliegen, haben nach einer Möglichkeit gefragt um spät check out zu machen was zwar möglich war aber teuer, für das selbe Geld habe ich bei IBIS gebucht was tausendmal besser ist und ein Katzensprung vom Flughafen entfernt ist habe da zwar nicht alles in Anspruch nehmen aber die kurze Zeit die ich bei Ibis verbracht habe war exponentiell besser als bei Liberty.
Jede andere Hotel hätte für eine Stunde uns eine Zimmer zu Verfügung gestellt um uns fertig zu machen doch Liberty Mitarbeiter hat uns auf die Dusche auf dem Dach verwiesen neben dem Pool.

Bitte auf die Bilder achten die stelle ich rein.

90% in Saigon ist auf Touristen abzocke abgestimmt, daher würde ich jedem empfehlen Maximum 3 Tage dort zu verbringen und am besten mit der Reise dort anfangen und es Da Nang zu beenden nicht so wie ich anders rum von Norden nach Süden.

Ich muss auch sagen das ich TMS geschädigt bin aber nach Liberty habe ich Ibis kennengelernt und festgestellt das es damit nichts zu tuen hat Liberty geht garnicht.

The Stay was lovely and a really good location. Room was clean but is begining to show signs of needing refurbishment. The staff were all friendly and the breakfast was a good spread. The roof top pool was a hit, but the price of food and beverages were a little on the pricey side for Vietnam.

We had a fantastic stay at the Liberty Central Saigon Riverside (room only). The room was fairly spacious and very clean.

There is a gym at the hotel which is fairly compact - however it had all the items (treadmill, step machine, weights) I needed and was not busy at the time I used it.

You can get a fantastic view of the city from the rooftop bar, which also has a small infinity pool.

One of the key benefits for us was the location - it is only a short walk to many of the locations that we wanted to visit in the city. Such as the Opera House and Bitexco Skydeck etc.

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at this hotel and would recommend.

Great location in District1 of HCMC. Easy walking to many attractions including opera house, traditional post office, Notre Dame and one of two shopping centres. Convenient location for tour bus pick-up and return.
Slightly opposite from water taxi terminal where you can do a boat ride on the Saigon River like a local which has some amazing city views late afternoon / evening.

Had too many problem with this hotel, 1st day they give me a room where shower drainage was not working properly, after complaining they change my room after few hours , the next day no water in the shower and washroom in the morning until 10.30am, therefore I missed the breakfast time, they did not do anything about it even after complaining, no iron in the room after requesting one they give me bad iron that burned my T Shirt , again they did nothing about it even after complaining, was not happy about this property at all , specially the staff ..

Property was a little different to the adverts. A little untidy in rooms, toilet was faulty. I feel the staff service wasn't as good as it could be. Staff were pushing to book tours on numerous occasions. Scooters booked through hotel arrived with no fuel, and we had a faulty one which kept stopping and cutting power. Comfortable enough.

Location is a 10 of 10. Right on the River and great view and the area is full of amazing hotels and nice shops, restaurants. Hotel is a bit worn down, a bit old to be honest. I stayed at two other more costly and better rated hotels - and the service 100% showed. Not saying they were poor service here, but def not the best. My stay was $60 USD for a night so I really can't complain. Great value, great location and it was perfect to shower and sleep. I may consider this in the future for budget purposes and if I traveled alone.

Sunrise 🌅 on the river

I extended two more days here because of its key location; however the riverside view can be a little noisy but it won’t bother your sleep. The sunrise is on the riverside as well so it can be very bright and so is the light reflects on the river at night. It’s a great place overall for a budget price.

Lovely hotel located in a good location to get around. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and with grab taxi so cheap, the hotel is a great base to explore. Spring time in Saigon

I stay at this place many times and annually I would come back to stay here. It can be noisy on the riverside but it’s a beautiful view! Photos were taken on the waterfront in front of the hotel and the nearby park! It’s walkable to everywhere.

If you need to iron your clothes bring a steamer!

Plan on getting steamer if you stay here to steam/iron your clothes. The room does not come with an iron and you would have to request one which they’ll let you keep for a day however, I think the iron was older than myself. It barely worked and the folding iron board was so broken that when I was trying to iron, the latch slipped and the board landing right on my feet. Other than that experience, I would say staff was amazing and the stay was great! The food was amazing as well.

Great Choice in Saigon

Excellent hotel in a great location. Staff is very attentive, and the rooms ae great. For some reason, the plastic nut inside the tank on the toilet flush handle was so loose that the toilet wouldn't flush. Being a home owner, I raised the lid on the toilet tank and finger tightened the nut. Works great. Breakfast was fantastic.

My stay at Liberty Hotel HCMC was overall okay, but there were a few things that could be improved. The room had a beautiful view of the river, which I really enjoyed, but the large outdoor screens across the river were quite disturbing at night. I like to sleep with the blinds open and wake up with the sunlight, but this time I couldn’t because of the bright lights. On lower floors, you can also hear quite a bit of street noise. The room itself felt outdated, with noticeable scratches and marks on the furniture and walls, and it’s definitely in need of a facelift. The bedding was disappointing as well, with stains and even holes, which was not what I expected. The spa was good — nothing particularly special or elaborate, but the massage therapist did an excellent job. One major issue I had was with the elevators, which had extremely strong air fresheners that triggered an allergic reaction, causing me to sneeze every time I used them. I really hope the hotel considers replacing them with something milder. Overall, while there were some positives, Liberty Hotel HCMC could benefit from some updates and more attention to detail.

The location is good. It has varieties for breakfast. Staffs are friendly. But the condition of my room is not as expected. The window is closed but NOT air-tight. Hence, for my room facing the streets, I can hear the traffic and streets very clearly. The water draining is quite slow. I cannot get body wash out from the fixed bottle even it is full. Nice view of Saigon river. Con: no parking for cars. They have free parking for motorbikes though. Parking for cars nearby at Bitexco will cost you by the hour. For us overnight parking cost 350,000 VNĐ= $16 per night.
