This is our favorite hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Comparable to what you would find in the states. Breakfast buffet is exceptional. Location, location, location! In walking distance of everything fun. Highly recommend.

Our stay at the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel was excellent from the moment we arrived. From check-in to departure, the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They were always opening doors and offering help whether it was finding a place to eat, getting drinks, or recommending places to shop.

Our room on the 12th floor with a river view was beautiful. It was spacious, very clean, and a comfortable place to relax after a day exploring the city. One of the highlights was having access to the 5th-floor lounge, which included afternoon tea and happy hour. It was a great perk that made the stay feel even more special.

The pool on the 5th floor was also a great place to unwind. It was perfect for an afternoon swim to cool off from the Ho Chi Minh City heat.

The hotel also has a casino on the first floor, which we enjoyed visiting during our stay. One thing to note is that the tables only accept U.S. dollars for gambling.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. We were able to easily walk to many attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. It was also very convenient to get rides using Grab whenever we needed transportation.

Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with great service, a great location, and wonderful amenities. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we visit Vietnam.

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. In room #2121, the bathtub showerhead did not work properly, which was inconvenient and unacceptable. On top of that, there was ongoing construction on the 23rd floor that created excessive noise and significantly disrupted my stay.

What made the experience worse was the front desk interaction. The receptionist repeatedly tried to upsell me, insisting that the room I had already booked was “not good enough” and pushing me to upgrade, even after I clearly said it wasn’t necessary. The approach felt uncomfortable and unprofessional.

It’s our first time staying at this location and it was a nice stay. The service is good and its convenient location; however, I won’t be coming back here. It’s a bit pricey for breakfast if you don’t book in advanced when you do your booking. We loved the Li Bai restaurant experience and will come back for that with family.

I took an upgrade offer to the newly renovated 'Salon' suites. It's similar to 'Club Room' level of service where you have a dedicated check in/out desk, but with a few more perks.

Whilst I didn't need the extra perks, or the nicer room, it was cheap enough to go ahead anyway and I'm glad I did. The room was lovely, the service for anything needed felt 5*, and the process of checking in/out was so quick and easy.

During our stay, Figo and Kaka (ex. global football stars) checked in for a night too. If it's good enough for them it's certainly good enough for me!

Staff amazing. Lovely hotel, pool and restaurants. Had club room, treated like royalty in the club lounge. Lovely afternoon tea and dinner/drinks. Would stay here again, but not in the tower as when we returned to the hotel for second stay they put us in the new renovated area but there is too much light pollution coming into the room as no black out blind/curtains covering part of the room.

I requested connecting rooms for my family months ahead in advance, but they were not able to accommodate upon check in. They could not even get us rooms on the same floor. That was quite a let down. The rooms are nice and spacious. Beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal. No reason to leave the hotel looking for good food. The seafood dinner buffet, however, is not worth the price in my opinion. Many of the items are exactly the same as the breakfast buffet. The seafood although plentiful did not seem to be fresh.

First time staying at this hotel. I frequent Saigon for work and love this city but tend to stay away from the city centre as hotels are often loud and dated. This hotel was absolutely beautiful and in a great location. The breakfast was great and the staff were outstanding. My stay coincided with a celebration in the square which was very loud and the team made every effort to ensure that they moved me to a room in the other tower which was to my liking. I also appreciate the breakfast box they put together as I was flying out before I could have breakfast the next day. The gym and pool are lovely as well. Would definitely recommend!!

There are two buildings to this hotel. One is older and larger rooms, other is newer. Ask to stay in the newer building. They will say both are the same but it’s not true. The Suite room had a smell but they quickly fixed and offered a late check out, so service was absolutely caring for our comfort. I was lucky and picked the best hotel in HCMC. Amazing service by all staff and the food in lounge was outstanding. We had breakfast there every morning and even dinner twice. Displeased with housekeeping in the morning.
Even with \"Do not disturb\" on, they would go around at 9am knocking on the door and shouting \"laundry\", again at around 10am, knocking and shouting \"housekeeping\".
Not good for people planning to sleep in.

The best thing is that the on-site casino is giving $100 USD worth of freeplay for guests staying inside Sheraton, just tell them the room number when signing up for the membership card.

The valets are low key discrimination my parents because they didn’t dress up luxurious enough. Very disappointed with the way of the front employees treating my family especially to my parents.
