Ver nice hotel at reasonable rates, close to the train station and fairly close to Saharan Familia. Plenty of yellow cabs available just outside the gates because there is a huge hospital next door. Exceptional room service- I had a broken shower repaired in less than 5 min. Bathrooms are large with some unusual facilities like shoehorns! Water pressure in showers is very good. Only a small issue is that one cannot adjust the temperature of the air conditioning. But it was quite comfortable. Beds are very comfortable and there is a full length mirror which I appreciate very much because it helps ladies dress up better. Staff are very cheerful and helpful. Lots of eateries around and location is really good.

This was a business trip and a good location for me. I used the fitness room which had Elliptical machines, no treadmill, but that was ok. It is usually good running weather out so not important I guess.There is a pool on the roof but too small to really swim unless you have kids with you or just cool off.
I did not take the breakfast due to cost but it looked good. There are many Cafes around so options are good.

Booked this hotel with family for a 4 night stay whilst attending Grand Prix F1. Great location close to Camp Nou. Close to Metro and only a few stops into central Barcelona. Plenty of cafes, bars & restaurants close by. Lovely park opposite. Room was huge and lovely. Shower was fab. Pool and solarium was lovely and in sun all day. Staff were helpful. Didn’t eat so cannot comment on restaurant.

The staff were not hospitable to our large group. They refused to serve us at the hotel restaurant, because we were too many. The AC in the room did not work. There was a strong potpourri smell in the facility which triggered my allergies. Day staff were unfriendly, although the young man in the evenings was very nice.

The hotel was clean but ran down. In the room where we stayed the window was behind the pillar with no natural light coming into the room, with a view of an office space on the other side. The area is nice, close to stores and public transportation.

Everything was OK. Starting from breakfast (fresh, high quality, plenty of international options). Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Clean, confortable, quiet, classy, very good WiFi... . Had once the lunch and once the dinner at the hotel's restaurant - felt as at home. Usually people are nice in Barcelona, but it looks like the staff is \"more Barcelonaise\" then others!

They were over booked I have to wait more then an hour after check in to get my key. Not even key. After one hour they sent me to a hotel almost 30 mins away and I have to pay additional 37 euros to go back to my meeting place that was originally close The actual hotel where I book the room. So I will not suggest this service to any one. That also about close to midnight.

Never experienced such an unfriendly staff. Not saying „hi“ at the reception.
Didn’t matter at what time you entered- everyone behaved the same- except one nice women at the breakfast area.
Rooms are dark and smelling bad. They will never see me again.

Hotel was perfectly positioned for principal purpose of business at the Maternity Hospital across the street, but also well positioned to attend a FCBarcelona game at Camp Nou, within easy walking distance. The hotel is also close to Maria Cristina Metro station, for a 15 minute trip into downtown Barcelona.

Location great but hotel a little disappointing for the price. Pool is a lot smaller than the picture due to very clever camera work. Also could not get a no-smoking room first night and had to settle for smoking room and then move second night. New room still smelt of smoke but not as bad. WiFi was terrible.

We loved everything about the hotel- service, cleanliness, comfort of the bed, value for money, location, but the room had a very strong perfume smell. Same scent in the lobby. It was like walking into a department store. It was too much for me and i had trouble sleeping. I had to open the window. I prefer a room with no scent or a faint natural scent like essential oils. But not a heavy perfume you can’t escape from. In every other way we liked the hotel and were impressed with it. I would easily return if it weren’t for the smell. Too bad.

Two hotels in one stay

The hotel is very clean and close to the big Spanish department store and other restaurants in the area. We mainly stayed there to be close to the university. The staff was very friendly and even checked me in early once the room was ready. Unfortunately, the A/C in the hotel was broken though at that time and the room was unbearable. We asked the hotel to move us in the third night and they moved us to one of their other branches that's in catalunia square. The other branch is obviously more central so the location was much nicer (although far from the university). The staff was very helpful with the move. They quickly booked the necessary rooms and ordered a cab (that they paid for) to take us to the other hotel. We also forgot stuff during the move and they brought it over later that night. The staff at the new hotel were awesome - very friendly and helpful. They even made us coffee at 11:30 pm after the bar had closed! All in all, I enjoyed staying in the Catalonia series and would stay there again.

Pretty good, near metro

The hotel was better than I expected. It had a very comfortable bed and the best shower ever with great water pressure. Alejandro at the front desk was very kind. The only thing is they charged us for things from the minibar that we did not take, but when we noticed and told them they took it off.
The room is good for two people but would be very tight for an extra bed. The metro is just round the corner as is a huge shopping center with a great supermarket at the bottom floor. If travelling with kids, there are many little playgrounds in the nearby neighborhood if you walk toward les corts metro station. Not much to eat close by, but the hotel restaurant is okay. Hotel was clean.

After an exhausting trip I came to the hotel only to be notified that there is no room available. I was transferred to another hotel in the chain which wasn't in a desired area, but I had no other choice at that time of day. The staff excuses didn't seem plausible to me, and there was no management to talk to in the evening.

My coworker and I were a little worried when we first showed up as the outside was pretty old and rundown, but the inside was newly renovated and up to date.

Rooms were clean and nicely updated. Breakfast was tasty, but did not have a very wide selection given the price.

the staff were very helpful especially at the reception, efficient and friendly. on Wednesday morning when i checked the male receptionist insisted on carrying my bag to the taxi rank which is close to the hotel. having the taxi rank so close means that a taxi is always available. i would stay there again.

Basic; clean; functional for a trip to nou camp

The hotel looks horrendous from the outside. When we arrived it looked like we were staying in a 60's council owned block of flats. That said, the reception, corridors and rooms were fine. Don't be fooled by the rooftop pool. It's unheated and tiny. Approx 5m x 3m.

The hotel was great very modern and all the employees are very helpful and friendly! The hotel is literally a few blocks from camp nou hence the name I provided! The breakfast is phenomenal a bit pricey but worth the money. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice hotel, decent price

I was there for a conference that was held at the convention center catalunya, walking distance. All sightseeing of Barcelona you have to take some form of transportation a taxi, tram or metro both stations were pretty close by, so no worries.
Room was clean, decent size. It had a nice sized bathroom. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of hot and cold choices.

Nice hotel close to Maria Cristina Metro stop. Has small aerobic gym on second floor and small pool on third. Room was modern and bathroom was elegant. Has an Italian restaurant in lobby. Recommend Biergarten on same carrer and Starbucks on Av Diagonal heading to or from Metro. Stay was pleasant. If taxi is required, queue is in front of Sophia Princessa at circle.

Great hotel at an affordable price!

The room is of decent size. Room and bathroom were clean. Bathroom was very spacious. The only complaint was that shower knob didn't work properly (no matter which way I turned, i was only getting hot water!). I didn't complain to the management as it wasn't big of a deal for me, and I was in a hurry in the mornings. I would recommend this hotel. Nice room for the price paid.

Very clean, friendly hotel

We stayed for two weeks and were quite satisfied with the hotel. It is less than a five minute walk from Camp Nou. This was important for us, but it is also conveniently located with respect to the amazing Barcelona metro system, so we were able to easily get around the city. It felt like a three star hotel trying to be a four star. The service was good and the rooms/hotel were extremely clean and well maintained. The hotel has obviously been recently renovated and features a modern look in an old (and not very attractive) building. The views of concrete passageways detract slightly from the experience, as does the fact that it is difficult to keep the room at a consistent comfortable temperature. The lack of a proper ventilation fan in the washroom meant that the humidity from the shower filled the room. The rooms are very quiet and the curtains keep out all light if you so desire. I probably would have felt better about the room rate had it included the breakfast in the restaurant. The hotel staff are consistently friendly and helpful. We would have preferred having a small refrigerator and perhaps microwave in the room as opposed to the minibar(due to the length of our stay), but that's a personal choice. Overall, a good choice, but slightly overpriced.

Very nice hotel but kind of out of the way

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, great shower. The staff were helpful & friendly. The hotel is a little out of the way but I did find a little grocery where I could get a coke, water, snacks, etc. that was only a couple of blocks away. It was a short taxi ride to Sagrada Familia and Las Ramblas. Sometimes the taxi drivers weren't familiar with the hotel & I would have to show them the address to get there.

Nice boutique hotel with trendy rooms

This is a trendy boutique hotel not far from the University District in Barcelona. At check-in, the staff didn't seem very friendly, but everyone else we dealt with after that was very nice. The decor is very trendy. The rooms made good use of somewhat limited space, and seemed to have been recently renovated. Seemingly good food options right in the hotel, but we didn't eat there. A Metro stop is about 2-3 blocks away. One word of warning: Don't stay here for the view! It's a very small, low-slung hotel, and our window merely gave us a view of another building across an alley.

Overall, we were quite pleased and would stay here again.

We stayed twice at this hotel, the first time for 2 nights, this was a bigger room and we got into the room late morning, the second time we were allowed in the room at just after 9am, it had a smaller bathroom, but was still a nice room and good to get in early.
The staff were very helpful. The upstairs breakfast room can get full but there is plenty of room downstairs.
There are plenty of restaurants around the area as well as shops and a supermarket.

Attractive and comfortable hotel in Barcelona

We were very pleased with our hotel - it was very clean and attractive, and the bathroom was amazing. There's a small gym with a treadmill and a couple bikes and an elliptical, and free wireless (not super fast, but it was good). There are a ton of cafes nearby, and the metro is also very close to take you into the more central parts of town. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Un gran personal, gran atención y amabilidad. La habitación tenía la ventana a un tipo de patio de luces con una columna justo delante, así que tuve que tener la cortina cerrada. Por el resto muy bien, el desayuno muy completo.
El parking debes utilizar uno en la calle que es bastante caro.
