However the room was not well equipped. If the room is booked for two there should be amenities for 2 like tooth brushes or slippers and extra facebtowels.
The water from the tap was salty and undrinkable amd i feel unsafe yet only a small.free bottle of water was provided
The AC didnt work at all as far as i could try to turn it on and the room was 24 degrees..

Didn’t have much bfast variety and there were fruit flies everywhere in the bfast area. Water pressure was horrible. It was like a trickle and all were coming to the reception and complaining. The location was amazing as it was walking to the Barcelona Sants station! We missed our train so was a perfect last minute hotel for us!

Really lovely hotel, excellent room and spacious bathroom. There is everything you can think of in the room and bathroom, they have thought of everything. Brilliant happy staff, I dont think anything would be a problem for them.
I would have loved to stay longer it was so comfortable. Tea kettle, and a coffee machine, room service menu looked very good. I would stay again in a heartbeat, thank you very much.

The only thing good is the hotel located right next to the Barcelona Sants rail station, however there is road work around the hotel.

We booked because they are under the chain of Marriott, but we left with disappointments!

1, During our stay and every time when we passed by the reception, there was nobody! We called from the room, and nobody ever answered the phone... service was terrible!

2, The layout of the room is ONLY suitable for solo passenger or two people who have an intimate relationship or family has no kid, since there is absolutely NO privacy because the bathroom area is completely open! The sink is right next to the bed, the shower and the toilet are looked like in the closets or cubes.

3, Room is over-priced considering the overall quality of the hotel. Well, it's summer so get ready!!!

The walls are very thin. You can hear every single thing that’s happening in the hallways and the rooms next door to you. The bed was very thin and noisy. My wife and I both woke up with sore backs.

Good location for transport, short walk from the main station. Very comfortable bed and room. Toilet is a little complicated setup with a separate spring door but we managed. Everything was working properly and staff were very helpful.

Great location, convenient to get to airport by train. However, hotel doesn't meet Marriott standards. Rooms are small and the service is mediocre and definitely needs improvement. We were a couple, yet we received only one bottle of water, one slippers. When er reminded the team, we are a married couple and we need everything in pair, we still kept receiving just one set. There is not service in the afternoon, when we wanted to get a cup of coffee to relax during the storm, we had to go and make a cup of coffee on our own, which is definitely not something you expect from Marriott brand. The price is way too high compared to the room equipment, facilities and services. Probably would rate is as average 3* hotel, not a 4* hotel under Marriott group.

We stayed at AC Hotel Atocha before our stay in Sants. This one fell short in comparison with the one in Madrid. The room size and amenities were fine, but some staff members will make you wait for everything; from getting ice to checking out. Breakfast wasn’t as good as Atocha hotel. The Wi-Fi sucks, but we thought is a Barcelona thing. Getting better Wi-Fi will be a plus.

Extremely convenient for travel from Barcelona-Sants train station. The walk is probably less than 100m from the hotel door to the train station entrance (the entrance isn't as obvious as the huge McDonalds sign, but it's right there).

The front desk staff were fluent in at least three languages that I noticed, pretty impressive.

The only slight downside was badly peeling paint in the shower. Otherwise the room was very nice and well appointed. Super clean. Overall I'd absolutely stay here again.

Only good for a one night stay

Basic.
No frills hotel.
The bath sink is a design that is just wrong.
Not deep enough so water spills everywhere.
The bath area altogether gets its inspiration from airplanes.
Small and without soul.
Stay for a night or two but for the price, go elsewhere.
Skip breakfast for sure

Convenient location

The hotel is conveniently located, right next to the railway station. The bed is comfortable and the staff are helpful in printing out the boarding pass for us. It’s a pity that there’s no electric kettle and tea available in the room.

It happened to be a hustle to get coffee in the morning, nothing provided in the room, would wait more than 10min in the restaurant and no wait stuff would come to check on us ... stuff(reception desk and restaurant) tended to “disappear” and be hard to find!

The rooms were unique in that the shower and toilet room felt more like closets. Otherwise it was kind of like Marriott painted their name on a cardboard box. Way too expensive for the value. No coffee or kettle in the rooms, but free for guests down in the lobby. Said they had foreign exchange service but didn't have enough Euros to change $50. Uncomfortable bed for more than 2 nights. Rude staff -- not everyone, some of the cleaning staff were very nice, the front desk person who checked us in, and the doorman all treated us like human beings. The rest, not so much.

Quick business trip - it was a convenient hotel as it was right by the train station. I did not find the hotel to be particularly comfortable (mattress is just laid on top of a platform and moves around...). Breakfast did not have eggs available.

Had a great stay but I must point out the window were very dirty in our room had not been washed for a while and the service the second night was a lot to be desired at the bar a certain person was very miserable who served us but the rest were very friendly it does not cost anything to smile but overall had a good stay

Room.

On arrival the Receptionist demanded credit card details, in case there was any damage to the room, I’m a 50 year old man taking his ten year old grandson to a football match. Not sure what she thought we would get up to. Her attitude was very rude. In the room the toilet door wouldn’t close properly. Television wouldn’t work, had to use batteries out of my electric razor. On leaving for the match the same receptionist gave us directions totally wrong for the stadium. On checking out I was informed I owed tax on the room, no mention of this when I booked or from the rude receptionist.... I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

Very convenient to the Sants train station for arrival and departure including to the airport. Neighborhood okay but not as fun as Las Ramblas area. Rooms are modern and well maintained, although most have no door between the bathroom and bedroom — seemed a bit odd and lacking in privacy to us.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. The manager Alexandria, Gemme, and Monica were especially nice and extremely helpful. We did not take the breakfast but it looked adequate.
Overall we were happy with the hotel but might look for one closer to the center next time.
