Great area, close to train station which was perfect for my early morning train. Very friendly staff. Easy to walk everywhere. Great breakfast. Only downside was rooms aren’t very well soundproofed so I could hear the child next door and someone seemed to have a barking dog and in the morning a lot of people were up about 5:30am and banging doors. But great hotel otherwise.

Newly renovated room, very clean. The check in counter is at the 3rd floor right beside the bar with function area where guests can stay and have coffee even after check out. There is a dining option at the roof top of the building. A big grocery store is at the ground floor, next building with hot food. The hotel is 10min walk to Plaza Espanya and 1 corner away from Barcelona Sants (the main train station that goes to the airport). They give welcome drinks and 2 canned water for the first day of stay. No kettle, coffee nor refrigerator though we can get hot water at the bar. The room is long and has balcony, comfortable bed and good bathroom.

Hotel is very stylish, had many offerings like a posh lounge, and two restaurants (3rd floor and rooftop). Also very close to other late night eats, and most importantly the TMB bus (Estació de Sants), metro (Estació Sants) AND Rodiales (Sants station). If you do hop on/off it’s west of the train station and just as easily accessible.

Rooms are very well kept and somewhere you could trust the cleanliness. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were immaculate. The ONLY thing I would change about that is having trash bags in the trash can. My baby pooped in their diaper and it would have been great to tie that up in a bag to sequester the smell until the next day’s maid service. The small plastic bags in the rooms for feminine products don’t fit the diapers. Great stay!! Would definitely come back!

The topping on the cake was that the building was attached to an Access Mercando which was a nice surprise.

Stay was wonderful except the horrible security guard who yelled at us, and threatened to call the police for staying 5 minutes over the pool hours (we thought it closed at 11 when that actually was just the rooftop bar) This was so unacceptable I had the security guard go down to the front desk and talk to the front desk for telling us a different time of pool closing. She then proceeded to get upset at the staff and demanded the persons name who gave incorrect information. Unpleasant experience. The front desk was very nice and accommodating.

Good location if you are taking the train to/from Barcelona Sants station, which is just round the corner. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I found the air conditioning a bit strange though - it felt warm in the room despite it being at 19 deg C. There are many eateries around and a supermarket next door as well. I only wish that they had a kettle for making tea - that would have made the stay better. The breakfast buffet has a good spread but no changes in the 2 days I was there.

Property was fairly clean, but overall disappointing.

The surrounding area was a bit unsavoury.

Staff and service were very hit or miss with some staff being amazing but the majority were poor.

Food was mediocre in both restaurants and ordering ar best. Though bonavista was far superior.

There was nearly no sound proofing at all, from outside noise, hotel neighbours or the roof.

We stayed one night and booked the hotel for its pool and the fact that the room had A/C. Well both were not working. No pool no a/c. Temperatures were quite high in June so never got any sleep. No compensation from hotel. Many guest had same issue and some were moved to different rooms but they had none left for us.

The hotel was clean, ultra modern and easily accessible to public transportation. However, when I inquired about the strange shower with a seat that would not stay up, they did not tell me it was a handicap shower, which I did not need. Since it was my first time in Spain, I presumed that all the bathrooms were the same. By the time I realized this was not the case, I was already leaving. They should inform clients of these details.

The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable for sleeping. The bed was great. Someone opened the door to my room early in the morning while I was asleep - the same happened to my friend. I think it was housekeeping. The communal areas are great for relaxing. We were disappointed by the rooftop pool area though, as there was absolutely no shade. We’d planned to spend the afternoon there but it was too intense to be in the sun for long.

Moxy Fun!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moxy. We loved the rooftop pool, the gym, and the game room! The 10th floor restaurant was excellent. There was no refrigerator in our room, which could have been a problem because I have medication that needs to be refrigerated. However, the reception was able to keep my medicine for me, which was fine. The laundry service was AWESOME but expensive. The breakfast buffet was very good, but expensive. We loved the stay overall, and it was a very short walk to the train station. The décor was totally Barcelona!

The property was located in a great place with the metro and station on either side. It made getting into the centre very quick and easy. The hotel its self was really clean and convenient. The pool was great on the roof was great to have a sip after a long day. Only last a staff because of the restraint on the roof. Was a nice restaurant and food was nice however food and drink would take a while to arrive at our table even if when it wasn’t busy.

They have no ice machine on the floors, so you'd think requesting ice would be a thing. Nope, they said I'd have to go the bar. High priced rooms with poor service, no amenities and a crappy bed.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The location is excellent—central, convenient, and the lobby and staff were great: friendly and helpful.

However, the room itself was a big letdown. It was extremely small—about half the size of a standard room—with just a queen bed and a sofa bed squeezed in. There was no fridge, no closet, and the in-room phone didn’t work. We were a group of three but only given two pillows. For the price we paid, it felt way too expensive for what we got.

If you’re just looking for location and decent service, this place might work. But if comfort and space matter to you, I’d look elsewhere.

Service at breakfast very poor. Bad coffee. Pan Cake machine most of the time not running. No label on jam containers to identify the type of jam it was. No spoon in the jam container to get the jam out. Menu at the bar restaurant for meat and fish lovers only. No vegetarian option. Positive: close to public transportation- about a 3 min walk.

This hotel is only 2 or. 3 star.
Our door key kept not working and had to be replaced daily. There is no fridge in the room…so we had to throw out a lot of food we normally carry when travelling.
You cannot make a cup of tea …..you have to pay for it!!!
Our room was not serviced till after 3 o”clock.
The hotel does things on the cheap. It was not good value for the money we paid.
On the positive side….was well located to public transport, and the breakfast was good.

Location is great. Common areas are fantastic. The biggest issue is with the room. The room quite long but very narrow and pretty dark. It feels claustrophobic. The room is also very bare bones. No fridge, no iron, no extras at all. It does have a small balcony which is nice. The gym is great and the breakfast menu is pretty nice. I probably won’t stay there again since the rooms really are not good.

The hotel is affiliated with Marriott Hotel! The hotel is modern and includes buffet breakfast which is a plus. Everything was great except our check in, it was very slow. I've been in so many hotels and never had to wait this long for checkin. There's a long line up of people checkin in. Other than that, it was all good! Location is very close to Sants station and the mall, Arenas de Barcelona.

I would like to share my disappointment regarding the service we received from one of the night shift reception staff. We had booked a triple room with an extra bed, and were informed earlier that the room would be fully prepared by the time we returned in the evening. Unfortunately, when we arrived back, the extra bed had not been set up.

We raised this issue with the reception, and were told to change rooms. However, even in the new room, the extra bed was still not arranged. We explained that since the extra bed needed to be set up by housekeeping, it would be more convenient to prepare it in the room we had already checked into. Despite this, the staff insisted we move to another room, requiring us to repack all of our belongings unnecessarily.

What was even more disappointing was the staff member’s attitude. He spoke to us in a raised voice and claimed that we should be blaming his colleagues instead of him, saying he was trying to \"help\"—when in fact, his actions made the situation more frustrating. His tone and unwillingness to listen were unprofessional and unacceptable.

We hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and provides better training to ensure future guests receive the service and respect they deserve.

Great value for money. Convenient location. It is steps away from the metro station and just one train to Plaza Catalunya. Walking distance to Plaza España and the Art Museum and the Lluis Companys Stadium. I did not like that it had no small fridge to keep beverages and no closet space but we just stayed for one night to go see a Barça game at the stadium nearby so it was not a real problem. It would have been an issue for a longer stay.

This is my 3rd moxy experience in different countries, this Barcelona experience was incredible, the hotel is always alive, people working or mingle, the staff incredible, the bar attention upscale, the mood and very curated details, the rooms charming and spacious, the location incredible perfect to move ny train, ave, or etc. Outside of the crazyness of downtown but close enough to enjoy Barcelona.

Was annoying in the middle of the night if someone got up to go to the bathroom it woke everyone else up. Overall excellent!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised to be offered a room with separate beds free of charge. However, the soundproofing was quite poor — you could clearly hear everything from the adjacent room, even when people were just talking. Unfortunately, we weren’t lucky with our neighbours, as they decided to have conversations at 3am every night. That said, the room’s design and the overall hotel aesthetic were absolutely top-notch.
