We stayed in a Quadruple Room, Kitchenette for 3 nights.The photos online of the rooms are pretty accurate. Clean a bit updated but reasonable. The check in/out process was easy. The staff were friendly and helpful.The facility is small and there's no additional amenities other than a small game room/sofa room.The breakfast was decent with good hours.The type of eggs were different each day,rest was all same with enough variety for our family.The rooms we had were supposed to be the same but one was much more smaller due to being next to the elevator and a bit tight for us.It would be helpful to mention when booking that the quadruple room by the elevator is smaller in dimension.The bathroom was also pretty tight in the smaller room by the elevator. The kitchenette had some dinnerware and utensils but would have been helpful to have some paper towels. Some Kleenex would have been helpful too.There was soap/shampoo combo available but no room for our own toiletries. It's supposed to be quiet after 10 pm but unfortunately on our 2nd and 3rd night there was a lot of commotion in the hallway outside of our rooms by other guests. The garbage also gets picked up at night around 2am and that was pretty annoying to be woken up by. There's two grocery stories right next door and many restaurants about 20-40 min walking distance which was convenient. Overall it was a decent place for our stay.

Best place to stay in Barcelona.

This is my first stay here and I love it. I will come back again. Hotel is very clean people at front desk are very professional and helpful. Especially, I want to thank Miss. Sonia. Our room was even bigger than it looked in the photos, complete with a kitchen area and a lovely terrace. Service was excellent, the apartment looked recently renovated with little touches that made our stay a pleasure. Great neighbourhood with plenty of services and strategic position.

It was Sunday when we arrived so not much open. Found a pizzeria close by that was good and a supermarket to buy water etc. stayed only 1 night so perfect for what we needed... which was a place to sleep before our flight home. Very hot in Barcelona in July. And close to a metro and hop on/hop off bus tour.

We had a wonderful stay with the family. The hotel room was spotlessly clean and appeared to be newly refurbished, which added to the comfort. The staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to help.

There was some ongoing construction during our stay, which was a minor inconvenience, but I hope it will be completed soon.

The highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly its excellent location—close to many popular attractions and essential amenities, making it very convenient for both leisure and travel.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a good place to stay. Walkable to the Metro, grocery store is next to it, laundrymat is right infront of it, lots of cafes and place to eat around the area. The only thing in this hotel that's lacking are mirrors and bathroom hooks! No mirrors except a small sink mirror. We're not able to do a fit check. Nothing to hook your clothes too in the bathroom. Otherwise, it has a fridge, a microwave, a stove, plates, etc.

The property is ideally suited to our needs. It was close to the centre of Barcelona and to Sants station where we rented a car for a trip into Catalunya one of the days of our stay. It was also near the A1 Airport bus stop. The staff were superb and readily agreed to store our bags before and after we checked in/out. Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing renovations which caused some noise during the one afternoon we were resting in the hotel. Also it meant we had to share the lift with workmen and their equipment. But overall a very positive experience. We would recommend the Marcelino restaurant nearby which does excellent local and Galician dishes as well as tapas.

The aparthotel is very well positioned to Sants railway station, metro lines and buses. Short walk to Plaza Espanya and Plaza Catalunya. Room was spacious and the kitchinette was a big plus. Garbage was removed daily and we had a nice terrace on the top floor. Bathroom is dated and smelly though...also, the overall impression is that some refresh is needed. And by far the biggest minus is the price. I know that the prices exploded in Barcelona the last years, but this is definitely not a 170eur/night hotel...

I like the breakfast. Staff is friendly. Location of hotel is convenient. Walking distance to metro, nice restaurant, big supermarket, high speed train and montjue castle. Some review said it is noisy outside but i do not see the issue.
Bed is comfortable and clean.

If i have chance to visit spain again, i will like to stay the same place

Everything at this hotel was clean and the staff is very kind. There is a huge supermarket with affordable prices underground. It’s surrounded by great restaurants and it’s a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro station. I used the train L9S in BCN airport then the L1 at the Torrasa stop to get there and I used the trains to get back as well. Great experience

Staff are nice, the place is clean but you can hear your neighbors next to your room. The guest next to my room was with their kids and i can hear them talking, screaming, running and stumping around. The a/c isn’t cold enough and it can get hot in the room. You can open the windows to let some cold air in but you’ll hear the noise outside. The place is close to metro, restaurants and if you like walking, you can walk to most attractions.

Best thing for us were the 10 euro per day bike rentals on site. We rented them 3 days in a row and were able to travel easily in all directions and see so much of Barcelona. Didn't expect that but what a great bonus!

Aparthotel was convenient with a baby and needing to use microwave and fridge for warming up and storing food. Room was nice and clean although I did find some things under the bed which should not have been there. Facilities were good, bathroom could perhaps be updated. Would be handy to have handheld shower head for bathing children. Very comfortable night’s sleep and the blackout curtains worked a great.

The hotel was made up of efficiency rooms, with 12 units on each floor. Ours had space for all 4 family members, with 2 twin size beds and a pull out couch. (Unfortunately they were all rock hard and we woke up stiff each day, but we were walking about 15km each day so we would pass out anyway.) The furniture was simple but serviceable. There was a parking garage and grocery market next door, which made it easy to grab drinks and snacks to keep in the room. The room had a very functional mini-fridge and microwave, which made getting ready for the day a bit easier with a family. The front desk was helpful when we ran out of items such as bathroom tissue and soap, or needed to have them hold bags before/after check out. Just note, they ask you to leave your key with the always manned front desk, so it does not get lost while you are out and about.
The location is a bit further from many of the sights and activities of the city, and since Barcelona is so spread out it can take more time to reach your destination. However, Barcelona has a very efficient and easy to use public transportation system in its busses and metro, and the hotel is close to several stops within a 5 minute walk. We would stay here again.

Perfect quiet location in busy Barcelona

Location, location, location! We enjoyed our four night stay at Aparthotel Atenea Calabria, and would stay there again when visiting Barcelona. It was away from the hustle and bustle of more touristy areas, but easily accessible via metro. There’s multiple bakeries, markets and restaurants within walking distance. The room was very spacious, and it was lovely to have a balcony to have our coffee in the morning. The check-in process was easy, and staff was very pleasant. The only negative is that you have to purchase additional coffee for your coffee maker, so we would just purchase espresso at the bakery next door.

The location is excellent, 3 mins to Metro station, next to hotel has supermarket, nearby has many local restaurant, very good!
The hotel exterior & common area look like 80s, the room is Okay but very clean floor. We are 4 people but only has one set of toilet amenities 😅
It’s a bit noice, u can hear voice from next door or from restaurant in the morning ( I stayed just above the cafe on 2/F)

Positives: Large room with a small terrace that looked out into the courtyard. Lots of light, great view, clean. Looked just like in the pictures. Kitchenette is minimally supplied with things, but enough to cook something basic.

negatives: the front door to the building was shattered which doesnt give a good immediate impression. Also, the terrace is open to another apartment downstairs, so it's not entirely private or secure. Also, it would be great if they offered Netflix or another streaming service.

The property was centrally located about 5 minutes from a Metro station and about 30 minutes to the city centre on foot.
The apartment was clean, of good standard and well maintained. There is a Mercadona supermarket right next to it and plenty of restaurants around.

The hotel appearence is not as atractive as in pics on the website. Not the lobby nor the room were very welcoming. Breakfast was good, and the dining level had pleasent sitting area, and play area for kids. The staff were nice, and the location - close to placa espana - was also good.

We booked for the standard room a month in advance, it turned out to be an attic ceiling and my husband is claustrophobic in small spaces. But the staff was extremely accommodating and changed the room even though it was a weekend rush. Really appreciate people at the front desk

Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Arena, nearby to the metro station for easy access around the city. Nearby food store was convenient.
Room had a double sized bed and a bunk bed, the room was large and had a kitchen area with a microwave and kettle which was handy.

We stayed in the penthouse with giant balcony, room for sun bathing, eating al fresco,and chairs for relaxing, plus stunning views of Barcelona.

Unfortunately our room wasn’t available when we tried to check in, which was awkward, although they did have a secure place to store our suitcases, and there was a quiet communal area upstairs to sit if needed. We were also allocated a smoking room, which was awful, but after some effort and difficult negotiation we finally managed to get a Luke for like smoke free room. The effort was worth it and we had a comfortable stay, the room was clean with plenty of facilities, comfy bed and great location and price. So over all very good despite the bad start.

Would recommend highly. We were 5 in the room and it was well set up -- little kitchenette also. Room was exactly as posted online. Desk service was excellent. We were able to store our luggage during our sightseeing day before the cruise. Walkable to many tourist locations.

The hotel needs a little bit of an update furniture wise but other than that all is good. The hotel is in an ideal area regarding distance to tourist spots. It’s also right next to a supermarket which is very handy. The hotel cleaning staff changed towels everyday and kept the hotel rooms very clean. We had a lovely stay
