We booked a Classic queen room but we got a double and were told only have king and double rooms and no kings available.
Booked the hotel as it had a pool but on arrival noticed pool closed for maintenance. Had not been advised by the hotel.
Had a kettle in the room but only provided with tea bags queried this and was told no coffee if you want coffee have to pay €10 a day for a machine and pods.

Our experience was wonderful at this hotel, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It was close to many coffee shops and restaurants.
The Hop On Hop Off bus stand was directly outside as well as the taxi stand. Great location.

Location was perfect room and food was great. However. Needed to ask for items several times. Should have been obvious, looking for a plug to charge phone at check out. Only 2 towels provided for 2 people. Uncomfortable doubling up towel use Busy bathroom, ,clear shower door was awful. Mirror interfered with hand soap. Food was expansive at breakfast. Hotel felt a little run down to be honest. It was clean enough, but just tired. Also they seemed a little short staffed in the Lobby. The bar was often unattended and you had to wait. Best part of the stay was breakfast where there was excellent variety.

For a ‘basic single room’, i was super pleased. Double bed and could have slept 2. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Quiet side of the building. Slept like a lamb. Appreciated all the little touches - bar fridge, iron and board, toiletries supplied, coffee/tea station, even a usb outlet for charging and a little footrest/stool for seating. One piece of feedback would be to write a little instruction in the room, or provide that info at check-in, re: how the lights work. Could not figure it out, and it turns out you need to put your room card in a little box to activate the lights. Great idea though for eco-conscious travelling so I support that. Can’t leave lights on when you leave, since you need to take your room key with you.

And the kettle no wash properly unknown white dirt stick on the base.

We only booked the Hotel 3 days before we arrived -- It was a great choice. We have been to Barcelona several times before and stayed in a number of different Hotels and locations. The location is excellent near the Sants Station and Placa Espanya. The room was excellent, very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful...We will be back!!!

Hotel is located within a 5 minute walk from the Barcelona Sants station.
The room was clean although outdated. The bathrooms look to be newly remodeled, large, and the hotel provides a toothbrush, shaving kit, sewing kit, shoe shine, amongst other necessities. The Nespresso machine in the room was a nice addition.
The walls have absolutely no insulation, anything from the street or adjacent rooms can be heard in the room.

Access is convenient to city centre L3 metro line and train station Barcelona-Sants which you can use when heading to the airport.
Reception staffs are kind and welcoming.
Breakfast buffet is phenomenal.

If there's a room for improvement, then it would be their cleaning staffs.
The amenities were not complimented at all for our coupleo of days of stay, and the desk didn't get cleaned at all.

Unfortunately no bus or taxi due to the protests at the time. Ordered taxi for us next morning, nothing seemed to be difficult when assisting us . Rooms were awesome and clean, quiet too

I liked this hotel a lot, the only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is because the bath towels are not well washed and didn't have a good smell, I think they should use whiter, better quality towels and that when they wash them, its has to smell to clean In everything else they have 5 stars.

Lovely hotel, nice location, clean tidy etc, but our friends had their bag stolen, and passport etc, from the foyer when they had checked in sat for a drink................... staff were a bit unhelpful to them, so thats was my only gripe, The hotel itself lovely, but quite a lot of noise from the street outside at night. But Barcelona is the city that never sleeps so I suppose it goes with the territory really. Rooms too hot,, but apart from that, all good.

Hotel room was clean, one staff was very friendly and helpful, the others were okay but did not have recommendations for places to eat when asked. Air conditioner took a long time to cool down the room by 1 degree. Ending up spending more money on the breakfast then we would have (for the quality of food it was) as we didn’t know the price of the buffet until after. Location was about a 7-10 Euro taxi ride into city Center. Not a bad place for a short stay.

hotel was clean, service good, location excellent but the AC hardly worked. it was 73 degrees all night even with the AC on \"full blast\" which was barley more than a low breeze. we ended up opening the windows to cool down but then we had the noise from the city.

water pressure was terrible too.

This is a very small compact hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The pool is a joke at only 3 feet deep. I call that a foot pool. Considering how hot Barcelona gets in the summer, they need an upgrade. The location is pretty good, we walked to all attractions. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely come back.

Hotel is very convenient for public transport both for the airport & sightseeing/city centre.
The rooms are bright & comfortable, with good facilities. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel but did have lunch in the pool area. The pool is a godsend, great to relax after a hot day!

Room lovely, had its own Nespresso machine which was a nice touch, near station and Eixample 1.5km. Breakfast was really good & definitely worth paying extra for €15. Good selection of hot & cold buffet plus fruit, yoghurt & loads of different pastries & cheeses. Only disappointment was the pool, it’s about half a metre deep, so you can’t swim just paddle or lie in it to cool off

Chose to stay in Barcelona for a special occasion and unfortunately this hotel, while being fine, was less than spectacular. The staff didn't go above and beyond but tried to help where they could. The room was okay but there was just nothing that sets H10 Itaca apart from the rest of the colourless, sterile hotels and I'm sure there are nicer places to stay in Barcelona.

Apart from that we experienced some issues. On our evening in the hotel, it experiences intermediate power cuts throughout the evening (only for about 10-20 seconds each time) but that meant the Wifi went down for prolonged period of time. This was not addressed or recognised by the hotel in any way. Also, our shower was of such inconsistent temperature that you had to risk either standing in scolding or freezing water.

Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend hotel H10 Itaca and feel you could get more for your money elsewhere.

This was a lovely hotel, great location the only issue I had with my stay was the air con. The first night I did not sleep at all due to the eat and the noise. When people are going in and out of there rooms and let the door close it makes a big bang! So the next morning I went down to ask if the air con could be checked as it was blowing out cool air just very little amount, I also requested a fan to try block out the noise. Went out for the morning came back and air con was still rubbish long story short it took me 4 attempts at speaking to reception to actually get a fan and to be told there was a problem with the air con in our room, we were offered a room change for this next day which we accepted. In the new room the air con was even worse. I went to ask again to be told air con was ok and nothing more could be done. Staff were friendly enough and wanted to be helpful just took a full day to get any answers.

The breakfast was delicious, there were a lot of options. The room was amazing, super clean, the staff is not that friendly but they are very great to solve any questions and concerns. It is a great place to stay, the amenities are not great the pool is not really a pool is just a 45 cm deep, the gym is very small, but besides that, the room was clean, updated and comfortable. I would like to stay more in that hotel. 100% recommended. The are is nice and you can go everywhere from there is very close to some of the locations and attractions and also the subway.

Surprisingly very good location. The best staff.

Booked this hotel randomly because of a last minute rush. I was worried that it was too far from the centre. It turned out it was only 30 minutes walk away from Rambla de Catalunya. Not only that, it is about 15 walk from placa de espania and 10 minutes walk to Sants train station which has direct trains to the airport and trains to all major Spanish cities and towns as well as to Paris, Marseille... etc.
Also the staff were top class. In fact, the best hotel staff I have ever come across during my five years travel around the world.

They gave me a room where the shower was broken. You could hear all the noise from the street and other rooms, the air conditioning does not work, and they do not have an air recycling system, therefore, we feel a suffocating feeling in the room, and of course when opening the window the noise outside was worse. The hotel is not in bena form and that can be seen in the corridors and rooms. I found it very expensive for the quality of the facilities.

This is a nice clean small hotel close to Sants station. The reception staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. There are a couple of restaurants in the immediate vacinity but its about a 10/15 minute walk to the old bull ring which houses shops and restaurants and is right near the museum of art Magic fountains. The hotel is also near to one of the stops on the tourist hop on hop off bus. The rooms are small but adequate and there is a nespresso coffee machine which I swapped for a kettle which I preferred and there was also an iron and board and a hairdryer. Drinks in the bar are expensive, €10 for a gin and tonic. If you want to go out onto the terrace for a drink after 11pm forget it, as the sullen bar man refuses access. Nice stay but would have preferred to stay closer to Las Ramblas.

The pool is only knee deep and not even a regular pool one would enjoy swimming in.
We arrived at 9am and the staff didn’t let us check in until 1pm!!! We had to sleep in the lobby on a launching chair.

Great experience at a very nice hotel

We were amazed at the size of the room, as we expected room to be quite small from the photos. Staff kept room very clean each day. Lobby staff were very helpful and lovely, with their English being very good, which was helpful. Swimming pool was quite small and ensure you know that you need to tell reception 20 minutes before you go in the sauna, so they can turn it on. No too close to the hotel, so if you want a quite walk to the beach, this isn't the hotel for you. But what was good is that it's near a metro station, train station, and only a 12 minute walk from the fountains which was nice. There was a supermarket right underneath the hotel, so very easy to grab food and snacks. Overall, very good hotel and would definitely recommend it to other people visiting.

Room was small but okay for an European standard. We did move the furnitures around so that our luggage could be opened without interrupting the traffic.
