I always stay in this hotel when I’m traveling on a holiday. The location is central to everything. The mall next door, the L1 metro is just steps away. Also the aerobús station to and from the BCN airport is a block away. The rooms are quiet, clean and stylish. Staff is very nice and accommodating.

The interior was clean and quiet. I had breakfast at the hotel once and it was decent (continental breakfast). It can get loud outside so unless you're like me who lives in an urban city, that may be an issue. Just remember to wear your ear plugs. For me, it was great. I'll definitely stay here again.

The bed in this room was like sleeping on a park bench, the shower pressure was similar to a light rain, the noise outside the room was very loud, the furniture in the room was stained. The lobby is a Starbucks. Very disappointing as the Expedia describes this property as a VIP contemporary hotel, of the 17 places we stayed during our five week vacation this was by far the worst.

There was construction going on in front of the property, in addition being located on a Main road it was a noisy. I had the larger room with more windows making it noisier than usual too. There are shops nearby and a good restaurant across the street but you are a little over a mile from the Gothic Quarter

Overall it’s a great place to stay in Barcelona, nice and clean rooms; breakfast buffet was good as well. The location is excellent, and it’s easy to get around plus the staff is really nice and helpful. I would stay there again.

Bit of a shame that the pool and rooftop bar were closed when I visited. There is some noise coming from the road but I was on one of the higher floors so it was fine, but I see how this could be a problem on the lower floors.

I booked B Hotel twice due to its location. Easy access to public transportation specially to and from the airport. Staff were very friendly and informative. The room was pretty big with nice view of Plaza Espana and walkable to some tourist attractions. I will definitely book this hotel again when I’m in Barcelona.

The location of the hotel is perfect and it’s clean and modern.
However I chose the hotel for the pool and the view, unfortunately the pool is closed for works, the surrounding area is full of road works and our room was at the back of the hotel so there was no view. The hotel is paying taxi fares to other hotels in their chain to use the pool, so they couldn’t be doing any more but I wish I would have known this on booking as I would’ve booked somewhere else.

Brilliant place to stay. 10 mins from the city centre by bus. Once there you can walk to the beach in 15 mins.
The hotel was okay. Although I stayed on the second floor and can hear the train rumbling. Reccomend a higher floor
Overall it was brilliant
The pool was the best part and the food and drink are very good.

The view from the room was great, but unfortunately the overall experience was impacted by constant noise. There was a construction site right in front of the hotel, making it extremely loud during the day. Additionally, since the property is located along the main highway (Gran Vía), the traffic noise was quite intense even with the windows closed.

The pool was closed during our stay, which was disappointing, and the bathroom had a leak — the water kept running continuously, adding to the noise and making it hard to relax.

Great hotel in a cool spot

We stayed for four nights at B Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and rooftop are gorgeous. Room with a view and king size bed were amazing. Tea kettle in room was nice. Great location in a busy area with bars and restaurants everywhere. It is a bit loud due to road construction and bus stops, but who cares, it’s the big city. Beautiful!

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel.
Whilst the room was spacious and well appointed, the road noise made sleep impossible, to the point that it spoilt our stay in Barcelona.
We booked the top standard room due to its 'corner location with panoramic views', in reality this was probably a mistake as it meant we had more windows through which the noise could be transmitted.
I imagine the cheaper rooms at the back of the hotel would be better.
We were also sad that the pool and terraced bar were closed during our stay.
Although the website says that access to the pool is restricted in the winter, restricted and closed are not the same thing.
The website did not state that the bar would be closed and we had looked forward to enjoying a drink on the rooftop terrace.
Also, the cleaning staff when cleaning the room each day threw my nightclothes on the floor.
So all in all, it was impossible to sleep and the amenities were not as advertised.

My Husband and I stayed at the hotel for five days.Pros: Large, beautiful and clean room. The location of the hotel was excellent, very close to the metro station and buses that went all over Barcelona. Next to the hotel was a large shopping mall with a grocery store, which was great for daily shopping, and also full of restaurants and eateries with reasonable prices.
Disadvantages: The hotel did not have a lobby and there was no proper furniture or facilities in the lobby. There was a curtain in the hotel lobby with a Starbucks behind it. I think they rented the hotel lobby to Starbucks.
There was a bit of noise coming into the room, so we had to put cotton in our ears to sleep, but I didn't have much of a problem with that.
The breakfast staff stood by the food while serving breakfast and stared at everyone while picking up the breakfast. I think this is not appropriate behavior and it would be better if they stood at the entrance rather than giving people the feeling that they are under control to eat everything.

The pool and bar were not available during this season, the bar was closed and we did not know this. The room was cleaned every day, but there was no specific time and they entered the room without permission without us putting something on the door that we wanted the room to be cleaned. For example, we went down for breakfast and when we came back and wanted to take a shower and go out, I saw the maid in the bathroom of our room and she had just started clean

If you've stayed in boutique hotels in the states, especially in San Francisco, the B Hotel is everything most of those hotels aspire to be but fail. Clean. Attractive. Very helpful staff. Convenient to nearly everything. While there are quirks -- the shower in the tub takes getting used to, the lighting controls require the key card be left in a slot by the door -- these are all at least good intentioned (water saving for the first, power saving for the second).

This is very close to the Barcelona convention center buildings. Across the street is a big mall in the old bullfighting arena with great views on the top floor. Two blocks away is a very busy taxi stand, three blocks away to aiport shuttle buses. Buses and mass transit stations within 2 blocks. Starbucks on the ground floor with tons of space and good WiFi. As with most of Barcelona, multiple eateries and bars on the same block. A 'Super Merkat' steps away from the entrance and an urban grocery mart 3 blocks away.

Breakfast buffet is very nice, but pricey compared to nearby eateries if it isn't included in your package (US$40/person). Half of the breakfast area doubles as the business center once breakfast is over. Good chairs, decent amount of outlets -- but since it overlooks the Starbucks it has coffee-shop levels of noise. Not bad, and didn't interfere with web calls, just something to be aware of.

Overall, would recommend this with no hesitancy and would stay here again when we return to Barcelona

B-Hotel was a great option for my short stay - close to the Olympic Stadium to catch a FC Barcelona match, and easy Metro access. Room was clean and well appointed.
Only drawback was major construction on Gran Via which was 8 hours of jackhammer noise each day. Not the fault of the property but keep in mind if you plan to book here as the construction looks like it has a long timeline.

We loved a dip in the pool with a fantastic view of Montjuic. It’s in a great location - next to the Arenas de Barcelona full of shops and restaurants and a walking distance to the 1992 Olympic site.

We chose to stay at B Hotel for its location. The Arena shopping mall next door was really convenient. But we only stayed one night, so I don’t have an accurate feel for what it’s like to stay at B Hotel for more than 24 hours.
The checkin team were very helpful and accommodating. The curtain to divide the lobby area from the Starbucks was confusing. And the elevators are very small, as is with most elevators here in BCN, and a bit slow so we utilized the stairs mostly.
My sister and her husband (unfortunately) received a room (407) facing the main street. She said it was loud/noisy at night, which prevented them from getting a good night’s rest. My bf and I (luckily) received a room (414) in the back corner, facing the backside. Not a great view, but it was super quiet, which allowed us to rest peacefully. You can notice the slight rumble of the metro under the property, but it did not bother us. Overall, a decent stay and I would return if I needed to be in the area.

Great Location But Very Noisy

This hotel is in a great location, close to transportation links to get around the city and also the main route to the airport.
Its location also causes one of the major issues you'll encounter, noise. The rooms are extremely noisy from all the traffic going by 24hrs a day, and also there's a huge police station not far away, so there were lots of sirens too. Ear plugs are a must.
The beds are also very hard/firm and the pillows are quite thin, meaning a very uncomfortable sleep, especially combined with the traffic noise.
The lights in the room are also a little confusing to use, and the shower has a full glass wall so anyone in the room can see you showering (theres a blind within the glass but you cannot close it for some reason)
The rooms are modern, clean and spacious though and has a mini bar/fridge that you're able to put your own things in. The safe built into the wall was a good feature too, made it more secure than other hotels.
Pool deck is lovely, but we didnt use the pool as the water was only 12⁰c in March, we didn't bother with the optional breakfast either.

This was my third time stay at B hotel in Barcelona for my family vacation. My first two visits were excellent and that was why we decided to go back to B hotel this year. However, this time, the experience was not what I would like. At the time of checking in, I felt that I was not welcomed. I do not know why but I could feel that. No mention of Expedia VIP access at all (which is OK). The Room assigned to us (we checked in at 2:30pm) was 'not good'. doors are missed in the toilet. Side tables were not in a good shape. View from the window was the wall of the building. I explained these immediately after checking in and I was told that another room can be given on the following morning. I checked the room availability, there were rooms available to sell. I had to think why we were given such a room (in relation to my feeling at the time of checking in). Following morning (10am), we left our back to get a different room for the afternoon (2pm). Jordi at the front desk was helpful on the second day. No room upgrade but a different room with a view of outside. Jordi later offered us a free breakfast which was a good gesture of welcoming and complications at the time of checking-in. B-hotel is not the same B-hotel I remember from previous visits. There are many hotels in BCN and comparing with others (we stayed at a different hotel this time as well), I wish to suggest the B-hotel manager to check how front desk handles guests from foreign countries

Check in was smooth. Hotel entrance was hard / complicated to access. No drive up ; had to park in “no parking”zone for the time of check in. A lot of “ one- way “ roads. Parking outside of hotel near impossible to find. Hotel provides garage($30 / per night) . Access to garage is very narrow. No large vehicles will be able to enter.
Otherwise hotel cleanliness was very good.

The hotel was clean, although walkable to the historic district, it is a bit further from all the popular sites. The bed was okay but the pillows were terrible, they were flat and I couldn't get a decent sleep in, also it was very noisy at night. My room was facing Gran Via and you could hear the car noise. Highly highly recommend this hotel! The location is so great and easy to get the bus that takes you to and from the airport as well as the hop on and hop off bus is located across the street. All the restaurants near by were so amazing and some of the best meals we have ever had! And don’t get me started on the roof top pool because that’s a plus for the view and the relaxation vibes. A lot of the main attractions are not so walkable, but the museum near by has the most amazing view of the whole city.
