The property was good, spacious and, although a little removed from the main attractions, access to transportation is convenient.
The customer service is good, but beware of needing immediate attention. We had some issues with the apartment key-cards and where lucky that happened during business hours. Other than that overall a good experience.

The property was clean, and the location was incredibly convenient — just 20 minutes from all the sightseeing spots, bus stops, and grocery stores. We stayed for three nights and loved the apartment. We’d definitely book it again and highly recommend it. The host was very communicative, quick to respond to our questions, and even recommended some great restaurants.
The only downside was that we landed early and couldn't check in right away, so we had to walk around with our luggage after a long flight. Thankfully, we found a nearby locker to store our bags.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable. Location was excellent. It was much more comfortable for our family of 5 than a standard hotel room. Our complaint is with the company that owns the property. I looked on the website to make sure I understood the checkin process. It said to let them know when we will arrive and someone would meet us there, which I did. Unfortunately this information was out-of-date. Now they send an email ahead of time with instructions about how to get in the building and access your room key. We never got the email and ended up standing outside the place for over an hour in the pouring rain with all our luggage. If you choose to book with Home 2 Home and do not receive an email ahead of time, make sure to call and ask.

They did not simply deliver a key, they re-keyed the lock and left all the new keys INSIDE THE ROOM. Started bad. They would not cooperate on adjusting the number in my party. I had to wait till the last day to even know if I would be able to stay. I had worry about the entire thing. Finally they agreed. WOW - Did me such a favor on decreasing my group size to just me. No gratitude and just wasted my time making it impossible for me to cancel. NICE JOB! The place? Needs paint! Overall it's okay.

I liked the modern design and security. It's also walking distance from the former bull ring that is now a mall, the Opera House and the palace.
On the down side, management dropped the ball. We advised them 3 times re when we were arriving: 3 days ahead, 2 hours and again at 15 min. But no one was there to let us in. We couldn't even get into the lobby area. Standing outside with suitcases in a new country in a neighborhood that we didn't know was safe was very uncomfortable. The street outside has graffiti and large smelly trash dumpsters...use of double locks make you feel unsure if it is a safe area. Inside the apartment it was a nice modern design but leather furniture was tattered, walls scuffed up, garden full of weeds, refrigerator worked but inside was dripping with condensation. Empty bread bowl with a sign about the bread that wasn't there, fancy coffee maker was there but couldn't use it as there were no special coffee pods for it.
There were some potato chips and a bottle of wine on the table. Impression was they were not quite ready for us and had not stocked things. The place
looks amazing in the pictures which must have been taken when it was new but the apartment needs some freshening up/ maintenance now.

3 NIGHT stay in Home-to-Home. Was welcomed with some crisps and complementaries with a personalised note. That was very nice. The apartment really is refreshing. The garden was the best part for me. It was so huge and classy. The room was nice. Sofa-bed was comfortable. The apartment was 5-mins walk to the Espanya Metro station and main roundabout where buses could be found. I really can't fault this booking and would book again should I visit Barca.

Not regular users of apartment rentals, so not much to compare to. Great check-in experience, very helpful man met us and let us in etc. Good quality apartment, very well equipped, comfortable. Good access to Metro. Restaurants nearby (walkable).
Only grumble would be noise outside during the night- the bins were emptied in the middle of the night, and construction work nearby seemed to go in around the clock.

Excellent place to stay. We got the larger downstairs unit with the garden and it was spacious and super clean and comfortable! It has separate bedroom and my kids slept in sofa bed in living room. Disappointed though that there is no T.V in the bedroom :( this was frustrating because it’s not as comfortable to be in living room sofa bed to watch Television vs the comfort of your room bed plus my kids wanted to watch something else on T.V...this part did not work out. If they would add T.V in bedroom I would definitely stay here again.

Beware of Barcelona
The apartment is close to restaurants and supermarkets and has everything you would need. We had to wait for some one to check us in we called one hour ahead to give time we would arrive and actually was early and they were not there, so we asked some one walking down street if they would call for us and they did and they finally arrived. Apartment was clean and comfortable. If you watch TV in English make sure you ask them to show you we could not get it to work. You are about a 10 euro taxi ride to the city center La Rambla and Gothic area. Walking distance to the fountain and bull ring mall. Close to all city transportation. Be careful I was pick pocketed which messed my trip up but it was on the last day

We toured all over Spain and Barcelona was the only place to be on the watch for thieves. Our taxi was on time for airport the guy that checked us in arranged and that was 40 euros to the airport. We really needed one more day in Barcelona three days was not enough. One day to Monserrat and Cava tour was great and we did the three country tours which was long France, Andorra and Spain twelve hours. and our last day we did a walking tour of Gothic Quarters, sail around the bay , and La Rambla.

Great apartment in a convenient location
We stayed 5 days at this premise in a 2-bedroom apartment. Well located within walking distance (7 min) to Placa d'Espanya station, this building is quite new and looks like recently renovated inside out. It's situated in a safe area with lots of restaurants, shopping and supermarkets in the proxmity.
The interior is clean with lots of storage space. There were shampoo, towels, condiments, washing detergents etc ready for use. The washer / dryer came in handy as we this was the last leg of our journey and we had accumulated some dirty laundry. The only complaint I have is that the tub drainage in the master bedroom wasn't working too well.
The check-in was smooth. Jet was our host. She's nice but didn't seem to have a good grasp of how to use the satellite TV or washer / dryer. It would save us time to read the manual if she could just quickly run over the operation. I think she's a new staff and I give her the benefit of doubt as she did try!

But this was not like someone's apt, the whole building (with various apartment units within) was run by a management company and very well managed indeed. The location was ideal for us, within walking distance of some attractions, nearby local shops for wine, cheese, bread, meats and more. We really enjoyed the terrace upstairs, and took our lunch up to enjoy it there. The convenience of having a washer/dryer was fabulous for this stage of our trip. Jet was our assistant to help us get settled in and she went above duty to also get my jacket mailed back to me after I inadvertently left it hanging in a closet. The building has great security measures and we felt completely safe there.

Convenient Location for Fira Convention Center
Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my unit was not properly functional and therefore had a late and uneasy sleep both nights I stayed there.
I had the unit with the garden patio, this is a plus...for that unit only. My colleague had a different unit without a garden...
It is a real downer to pay such an amount and have to clean up and do the dishes before leaving.

Very smart apartment
Stayed in a delightful 2 bedroom apartment with front and back balconies. Very clean and smart overall, useful kitchenette (although no oven, only a microwave - no problem for me) and great location 5 minute walk from Placa d'Espanya with its excellent transport links. Seema checked me in with no fuss at all and although I didn't really have any questions for her I got the feeling that any questions I had would be easily and happily dealt with. Slightly upset my flight took off late so I had to pay the €20 surcharge for late check in time - but that is clearly stated in the T&Cs so not exactly unfair. Overall and excellent stay and will definitely consider staying there again next time I am in Barcelona.

Nice hotel close to Placa Espanya
This hotel is very nice and clean. Furniture and appliances are fairly new and very well kept. It is in a quieter area of the city, yet close to attractions like the MNAC, Montjuic fortress, the Olympic Village and Poble Espanyol. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the Espanya underground station and bus stops. There are 3 supermarkets ( 2 of which are 24 hrs) within a couple of minutes walking. There is also a Mall nearby with lots of restaurants to eat. If you have a rental car, you can park in a dedicated spot in the garage but it will cost you 20 Euros a night. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. He gave us some good tips and explained to us how to get around the area and to the attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Clean, specious apartment with nice amenities. Great location with several stores nearby. Barcelona highlight points withina walkable distance. The only recommendation I would make for the company is to train their staff on improving communication with the clients. I emailed them twice ordering a cab from the airport and they failed to do that. It was not a problem since they were plenty of cabs outside the airport, but it's just the principle.

Our ac did not work and we had to wait over 24 hours and two hot nights to get it fixed. Also, upon arrival, we had to pay the deposit but the girl forgot the card machine and before I could stop her, she texted the numbers to someone else and then tried to say this was typical and fine. Not cool. Also, you will not have access to the garden unless you pay extra. You will not have access to the terrace expect during open hours. The ways are VERY thin-- at one point I thought my kids were up brushing their teeth in the middle of the night because I heard someone tapping their tooth brush on the edge of the sink. That is how thin the walls are. There were ppl out of the terrace at all hours of the night.

Our flight got in at 6AM. In a normal hotel, you can usually check in early - there may be a fee or you have to book for the night before- but you can check in if you arrange it correctly. The ONLY negative to this apt-hotel was that you couldn't check in before 11AM. When we called and explained - the earliest they could do was 10AM. So, we had to wait at the airport until 9:45. We called the taxi and he took us to a restaurant near the hotel so that we could wait close by and grab a bite to eat while we waited. The apt was AWESOME. The WiFi worked well, the beds were super comfortable. Everything was great. I wish there was room service - but I can live without that. Being jet-lagged and just wanting to check in and take a shower/get some rest made waiting 4 HOURS AFTER we arrived in Barcelona very unpleasant. That was the ONLY negative. If your flight gets in close to 10 or 11 - then you will LOVE this place.

We were early checking in but Grant was very helpful. Lots of information about getting around and how to get to the wonderful attractions of Barcelona. We loved the appartment, so much space for three of us and very convenient, just a short walk to shopping and transport.

We had a very nice stay in Home to Home Barcelona. Modern clean and well appointed spacious 2 bedroom apartment. We were met by Grant at the apartment and he patiently answered all of our questions. We especially liked the extras: welcome basket, toiletries, AC, free Wi-fi, access to top floor patio. Close to palau Nacional, shopping at Las Arenas and Magic Fountains. Only complain: noise from the street and from other tenants kept us up late one night. We would stay here again on a future trip to Barcelona.

We stayed in Barcelona, 3 days. Home to Home was located in a quaint neighbourhood minutes from some spectacular sites including the Magic Fountain, Olympic Park, Arenas Shopping Centre, Hop on Hop off Bus that tours the entire city, Barcelona Transit System, AeroBus (airport shuttle), markets, restaurants, supermarket etc etc. Needless to say it was a fantastic location that lent well to walking. No need for constant taxis.
The building itself was secure, very clean, modern and lovely. There is access to a roof top deck that is beautiful. The apartment was very clean, well appointed two stories with two walk out verandas, flat screen tv, full kitchen. Clothes washer and dryer, lovely bathroom. Bedroom upstairs that was very clean as well and the sofa in the downstairs converts to a double bed. All bedding and towels, soap, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent etc is provided.
We were met by a Home to Home representative (Casper) who was friendly and incredibly gracious with his help and advice. He brought us pastries and Cava as a welcoming gift. He was also able to sell us Hop on Hop Off bus tickets directly.
Overall I cannot say enough about Home to Home. Even when we had checked in the owner stayed in touch via FB. I travel a lot and this was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had staying anywhere. DO NOT HESITATE TO STAY HERE!!! HOME TO HOME IS FANTASTIC!!!!

El problema vino cuando nada más entrar al alojamiento vimos que no funcionaba la bomba de calor, avisamos al alojamiento y nos dijeron que nos traían unas mantas y un pequeño calefactor y que el técnico pasaría al día siguiente.
Las mantas no llegaron y tampoco pasó un técnico al día siguiente.
Después de estar todo el día pendientes de que lo arreglarán, a las 10 de la noche nos trajeron 2 mantas finísimas y un calefactor como la palma de mi mano que no calentaba nada.
Así que, aunque el apartamento está bien, nuestra estancia ha sido pésima.
