Great business hotel with fun edge near the Placa d'Espanya and the metro. Staff super helpful. The airport bus goes from across the road and took 15 minutes, the sign says 45 minutes for some reason. Room was coolly furnished. Breakfast is awesome and the bar is fun

Wonderful centrally located hotel with amazing staff who bent over backwards to accomodate us. Fabulous room and breakfast. The only downside was the all night rave next door which went on for our entire stay with people milling in the streets all night. A very busy area. We enjoyed our stay apart from that!

Due to our flight being delayed, we got to the hotel at about 4AM. I forewarned the staff that we would be arriving at this time and they were very accommodating (they have a 24 hour desk). All the desk staff we spoke to spoke good English, which we appreciated as our Spanish is lacking.

We booked a queen room, however, when we got to the hotel, we were informed that the room was not available, and instead they provided a twin bed room.

Cleaning staff replaced sheets, towels, and bathroom mats, however, the amenities were not replaced, which was a minor inconvenience (if one was to have coffee with milk in the morning, but wanted tea in the evening, both with milk, there would only be one milk). Additionally, we had left used mugs in our room during the day which did not get replaced.

The location of the hotel is excellent with easy access to major tourist sites and the Espanya metro station a 3 minute walk away.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay but there were a couple of minor niggles we wouldn’t expect in this class of establishment.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Indigo during our visit to Barcelona. The hotel is stunning, modern and full of everything you would need! The complimentary touches are lovely and it’s a great location to access the metro line into the centre of Barcelona or a 30 minute stroll. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic! Friendly Hotel!!!

Hotel indigo in Barcelona is the place to go. Right in city center. Everyone in that hotel was amazing from check in to check out. The restaurant and all the young people working in the restaurant were fantastic and embraced us like we were family. Raksh!!!!! She was our little tour guide/Pop Mart pal, she is somebody very special and I am so glad she works for you.

This experience left us deeply upset and offended

This experience left us deeply upset and offended. The lack of respect and the discriminatory conduct from your staff not only caused emotional distress but also placed us at risk of missing our flight. We are extremely disappointed and urge the hotel to take this matter seriously and provide proper training to your employees.

at check-out, a male staff member at the reception insisted that we had not paid for breakfast. I immediately showed him our reservation details, which clearly stated that breakfast was included, and explained that we did not use the breakfast service on the following two days. Despite this, he continued to demand payment. He then changed his claim, stating that we had underpaid the city tax.

We presented our bank transaction record as proof that we had already paid the full city tax. Nevertheless, he repeatedly refused to acknowledge the evidence and insisted that we pay again. This unreasonable dispute wasted nearly half an hour of our time. Even after we explained several times that we needed to rush to the airport for our flight, he continued to argue. Only after I carefully calculated the exact amount due and the amount already paid—showing that there was no discrepancy—did he finally admit that it might be a “system issue.” However, he did not apologize for his inappropriate, reckless, and discriminatory behavior.

The location was convenient where metro and bus stations are nearby. One of our rooms was hot when we went into the room. The maintenance team has come to fix it after 10 mins we talked to the reception. However, I took out 2 stars from cleanliness as I noted some hairs were found in bathtub and in the floor after daily room cleaning.

Seamless booking through Expedia at an unbeatable price. Vibrant, inclusive vibe with unmatched attention to detail. The room was compact yet felt spacious, with a dreamy rainfall shower. Breakfast was a standout: fluffy eggs, beans, fresh fruit, local jams, yummy pastries, and self-serve Illy espresso. Gorgeous city view with double-pane windows for a peaceful stay. Staff was kind and attentive. PERFECT location & Montjuïc offered the ideal mix of local flavor and energy. We used a 48-hour unlimited metro pass and explored the city with ease. Safe area, just 20 minutes and $16 from the airport. Reversible restaurant was a highlight—don’t miss the St. Germain Spritz, farm tomatoes, and the best patatas bravas of our trip. Would absolutely stay again and can’t wait to explore more IHG properties. Highly recommend to friends and family!

Upscale hotel with a great vibe! Located a few minutes walk to Plaza España, transportation hub, very convenient to the airport. Onsite dining at the hotel was amazing, very attentive staff, upbeat ambiance, unique menu items, superb! The hotel is decorated in a beautiful style, representative of the neighborhood. Such a pleasant surprise, we will be returning when we come back to Barcelona!

Hotel is easily accessed by public transportation. Room is small but small and functional. Sound insulation is good. But the bed mattres is too soft for the double bed. I had a backpain after sleeping in the soft mattres for 3 nignts. The mattres is much softer than the average hotel bed. Not recommended for people with back problem.

I booked this hotel for my wife as a much needed break as she is undergoing chemotherapy.
From images online we thought there was a swimming pool which turned out not to be the case.
We tried to cancel immediately explaining the reason of the booking error but the hotel refused.
We were forced to book another hotel at extra cost because my wife's condition meant the pool was essential

We really enjoyed this hotel. Inside, it is decorated and in a fun, funky, and relaxed way. The staff were friendly. The room was clean and spacious. We included breakfast with our stay, which was a delicious buffet and something off the menu.

Modern high-rise hotel near Plaza Espana. Great location for sightseeing – 2 Metro lines at Plaza Espana are 5 minute walk away, restaurants and shops at nearby Arenas Mall, short drive to BCN Airport and Sants train station. Room was a decent size with king bed, small table and chair, in-room safe, small fridge, and large bathroom with walk-in shower and bathrobe. Didn’t eat in restaurant but have a coffee shop in Lobby for coffee and croissant. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.

Hotel indigo is in a great location and it’s a wonderfully clean hotel with a very service oriented staff. Our only issue was that a fuse in our room kept popping at inconvenient times (room 308) even though we didn’t really have any appliances plugged in. Aside from that inconvenience, it was overall a great stay!

Great place to stay and very conveniently located near the metro of Pl. España.

The cleaning was a bit mediocre and we were there for 5 nights so we got to see it properly.

The room was comfortable, a bit tight but better than many smaller sized rooms. The place is modern and the restaurant downstairs was great with good food and great music playing always. The service was slow and felt forced with real lack of hospitality.

I called ahead to make sure they had the ac working (most Europe they turn it off depending on weather outside) they promised it was on and working to full capacity and when I got there the room wouldn’t cool below 75 degrees. I asked them to fix it and they never did, also the street is on isn’t that nice it’s not really on plaza España it’s about 2 blocks away.

An early check in was very gratefully received from a friendly staff.

A clean room on the 7th floor. Unfortunately there is still a lot of noise from the road overnight and for the 2 of us light sleepers it didn't work so well.

Would only return for an inward facing room.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Its staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is close to everything. A bus to airport and from is close to hotel. The breakfast buffet has a wonderful selection. They have a water bottle refill station on ground floor that’s great. The gym is equipped with all you need. Overall excellent hotel. The Indigo is a modern hotel, with nicely appointed rooms. The staff members were young, fun and friendly. The bed was comfy, the linens and towels were fresh and clean, and the room had everything a traveler would typically need - in-room coffee, fridge, safe, etc. Breakfast is not included and quite expensive, but there are many cafes and restaurants nearby.

The location is great with the Plaza Espana Metro about 5 minutes from the front door. A 10 min walk will get you to the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc (currently closed), but just beyond that you will find the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya where you can relax and admire some artworks that date back several hundreds of years.
