This was the best place to rent for a 3 night visit to Barcelona. The staff are really friendly and the hotel surpasses its 3* rating (and I’ve stayed in top end 4* and 5* hotels). Would not hesitate to book again if the urbane apartment starts accepting families again as I’ve noticed that it only sleeps 2 when it slept 5 with our family.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The rooms are small but had exactly what we needed. They cleaned daily. Breakfast was just what we needed to start our day. And everyone was super helpful.

I think we could have done more research about how close it is to things- it was a 20 min bus or taxi ride to most of the tourist spots but overall I was very happy with our stay

Just stayed with my family, partner and two daughters (3 and 8 months) It was a great location to get to everything we needed, a short walk to the metro and we could get anywhere in Barcelona. A brilliant space for us all to fit in, would recommend & would stay again.

Very pleased about the service received from start to finish. Approachable and very knowledgable staff especially Johanna at the reception.They accomodate every request even a toaster for our girls to have our gluten free toast at breakfast, many thanks to Ismail. The hotel location is also central and close to metro station of Espana L1 and they also clean our family room every day!!! We made a great choice for our holidays in Spain

Very expensive for a basic apartment, but I guess it’s hard to get a two bedrooms apartment in BCN.
Gym was terrible with broken and dangerous equipment. Room was dirty, our coothes got dirty from very dusty shelves and drawers (to be fair the front desk apologised and refunded the parking costs as a gesture). Signs said “no alcohol and no speakers” at the pool yet a group of lads had a speaker and were drinking beer cans in the pool, in front of a member of staff who did nothing
Also, several young men passed out on the corridors, all drunk.
Location is “ok” but you need to taxi or cycle to the centre otherwise a very long walk. It served its purpose for us but I think we vastly overpaid for very mediocre accommodation.

Very friendly staff starting from the pick up service through reception and breakfast team.
All good and nothing to complain, noise levels were reasonable since we were close the road side but after awhile you don't really pay attention to it apart when cars use they horns ( and let me tell you, Spanish people like to honk;-) ).

Space in general clean and tidy, cleaning team was good in leaving the room tidy, bear in mind that a more detailed cleaning will be done only for extended periods of time (stays over 7days onward), we stay for 4 nights and can say the cleaning service was good and satisfactory for that time frame.

Really big shout of thanks to Breakfast buffet lady's, always friendly and welcoming and ready to help when needed some support. For an instance, one of the days I notice there wasn't coming any coffee on the \"cafe con leche\" machine, and after explaining this to the lady she promptly resolved the issue always with a smile on her face and kind spirit. Both lady's at the breakfast buffet were very kind and friendly.

All in all will book again on another trip to Barcelona, nice location also, very central to transport and the Montjuic mountain for a stroll.

This hotel is a great base for exploring Barcelona. The rooms have everything you could need for a city break while being compact, and very well designed.

Checking in was a breeze, all staff throughout our stay were helpful and polite.

The rooms are very clean, almost like everything is new.

The hotel doesn't appear to be in an affluent/glamorous area of town, but we never felt unsafe. If you're getting the Aerobus from the airport, the journey is only about 15 mins, then a five minute walk from the bus stop.

As a family, we all agreed we'd definitely stay here again!

Very clean, simple and modern apartment hotel. Location is fine, 10-15min walk from Plaça d'Espanya.

Booked the triple room with terrace and the room size was great for 3 people - amazed how much space there was. Room was super clean and kitchen facilities were great.

I didn’t receive the Expedia VIP upgrade, but that’s fine as the room I booked was great either way. I did however receive a bottle of Cava.

One thing I would mention is the terrible acoustic insulation in the walls - You can hear people walking and talking down the corridor loudly. On one night the football was on and room above were having some gathering. It was very loud and I was able to hear them shouting and walking around.

Aside from that I could come back to this aparthotel if given as an option.

The condo was spacious, but unfortunately, it was very noisy, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. There was constant noise from the street, as well as people walking and talking in the hallway. There was absolutely no noise insulation.

Additionally, the hallway was completely dark at night, with only one light left on near the elevator. We had to use our phone flashlights to navigate. The phone in the unit didn’t work when we tried to call reception. Lastly, the dishwasher and cabinets had an unpleasant smell.

Small shower and subpar accommodations

These appear to be low income apartments. Only basic amenities, don’t expect any luxuries here. I do not recommend staying here but if there is no other option, make sure you get a unit with a large shower. Our unit had a 3 square foot shower enclosure and I’m 6’ 2”. As you can imagine, taking a shower was quite challenging.

Comfortable stay, clean property, useful to have kitchenette, professional albeit a bit impersonal, decent location, very convenient to airport (bus A1 at about a 10 minute walk.) Didn't see pool (seasonal) but they did have a pool table the kids liked. Didn't try the breakfast but there are some excellent bakeries nearby.

Location was great, close to Montjuïc park. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming but unfortunately the room itself was not clean, the bathroom specifically which made for an uncomfortable stay. The shower also had mold everywhere. Since we were there for one night just to sleep and leave the next morning to the airport, we didn’t make much of a fuss. The whole place also had a very strong perfume smell which was offensive and you would wake in the middle of the night as if you were eating perfume. The walls are also very thin and you can hear conversations and chairs moving next store weakening you very early in the morning. Sadly our stay was not up to par as we hoped it would be.

I was a bit disappointed in the condition of the property. Many of the cupboard doors were broken, and in general everything was tired.
There was no washing line even though there was a washing machine. And there was no facilities for making tea or coffee. There were some biscuits in the draw that had clearly been there a while.

We also couldn’t use the tv as something was wrong. We reported it to the reception and instead of arranging with us, we came home to find workmen in our room which was really uncomfortable.

They kept returning as well to take a gas reading and to check the tv. Eventually I asked them not to return anymore because it made us feel like we had no privacy.

Spacious accommodation as we booked the 2 bedroom apartment. Travelling for 2 nights with 2 teenage boys this meant there was lots of space for everyone. Clean apartment with all necessary amenities and great WiFi. Shower wasn’t the best but was hot and fine for a couple of days.

Breakfast was ok with various continental options and limited hot option.

Location was well placed between airport and city with taxis, metro and bus transport all available. €10 for 4 people on the metro and around the same for a taxi to La Rambla, Camp Nou and other attractions.
The best thing about the hotel was the friendly reception staff who offered a room to store our luggage when we arrived early and gave us lots of information about where to visit, how to get there and even recommended a better beach than we were looking to go to.

Overall a pleasent stay. Not exactly central but close enough to the metro to get around.

Location was great! The employees were pretty nice.
We had an early flight, so we got there at like 8:30 AM, they didn't give us the room until 3:00PM ( when checking was supposed to) . The bathroom wasn't that clean. They have a room where you can store your bags until the room is ready. That was good. We went to explore and eat. There were a lot of restaurants, grocery stores,so we walked to every place.
The apartment was ok for 3 adults and 2 childrens. The only thing is it has one A/C and it's located in the living room, so it was pretty hot in the rooms.

This was the worst hotel we’ve ever been to. Nobody cleaned the room and we stayed for 4 days with a family of 5. I couldn’t iron my clothes because the they didn’t have a spare iron because the one on the room was not working. The pool was dirty . Location was perfect for public transportation.

The property itself is very clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy. Lots of food options and convenient shops around the corner. Let me take a star off the overall rating for their towel situation. If you want to go to the pool, then you go to the front desk and you pay 40$ or so to get blue towels and you get your money back when you check out and bring the towels back. Literally you have to bring the towels back, not leave them in your room at check out. BRING THEM BACK.

Immaculately clean building with incredible staff. Mila was super helpful at check in. I wish I’d gotten the name of the young man that helped with printing something. Staff went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. Location is wonderful with a major metro station only a few blocks away - yet hotel is tucked on a quiet side street. Highly recommend this property.

Oh also, the rooftop pool gets a lot of sunlight and is a great spot to cool off. Will stay here again.

Not the most central of locations, but easy enough to get about and nearby transport links and supermarket. Only issue I have is noise from other guests. Slamming doors, running kids and guests who decided to have a full blown conversation outside rooms in the early hours of the morning. Appreciate it's a party town, just would be good if better sound proofing or guests being more considerate. This was the only negative for me and otherwise was a great stay.

There is mold in this apartment. Be careful about AC units because it has mold. Also there towels warmer has electricity problems and gives you a shock.
Very careful about washer it is full of the mold same as dishwasher. I have to wash all the dishes with my hands before using.
I told that to the front office but they didn’t do anything. I can upload photos on google because in this website I can’t upload pictures.

The Barcelona BCN apart hotel is a bit misnomer of other apart hotels we stayed before: 1. No coffee or tea provided 2. No dishwasher 3. The locks on doors, windows are quite dodgy and not working properly 4. No soap in the shower dispenser 5. The overall condition is worn down and cheap looking like ikea wardrobe and ikea shelves. Not impressed. Poor value for money. Will not recommend to stay.

My stay at this property was awful. When I booked my reservation on Expedia, I entered for two adults (ages 18 ), and 2 children (ages 0-17). These age ranges were what were listed on Expedia. Therefore, it was my understanding that I was traveling with, what were considered, two adults and two children. We booked a room that had two twin beds, and a double sofa bed. The plan was for the two adults each with a twin bed, and the two children to share the double sofa. Upon arrival, the property informed us that we did not have two adults and two children, but instead, four adults. And the four adults could not stay at this property together because if we doubled up on the sofa, it would break. I offered to pay extra and was denied. I said that I would sleep on the floor, and was denied. I was told that we would have to split the family up and could put 2 of us at their hotel, and book another hotel for the remaining 2. I contacted Expedia with my issue and stated that I wanted to simply cancel the reservation and book our family at a different property. I was told that the property denied my request for a refund. The hotel was not understanding at all, and was not accommodating to our family. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was forced to spend an extra $1,100 USD to get a second property, which I don’t feel is right.
