The walls in this hotel are not soundproof, and the younger crowd that frequents this place can keep you up at night. On the bright side, the staff is very helpful and attentive, and almost everyone speaks good English. If you’re looking for a clean, budget hotel, this is a good choice.

Magnifique séjour

Le séjour était excellent, l'accueil très sympas, on nous a aidé pour avoir les différentes informations et besoins qu'on voulait. Les personnes à l'accueil sont magnifiques. On a beaucoup apprécié le séjour. L'emplacement est proche du tramway métro et bus le reliant à l'ensemble des coins de la ville. Le buffet pour le petit déjeuner est alimenté en continue jusqu'à 10h30.

Friendly, helpful staff.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was comfortable. The hotel is not really situated next to the touristy areas but in upmarket area of Barcelona. There are plenty of very nice restaurants and bars within easy walking distance as well as a large shopping mall.

Nice location, worth the price

We stayed there for a week in April 2019, and it was quite calm and nice. I have very positive feelings about my overall stay, but to be a helpful review I will point some shortcomings I noticed.
- Our room came clean and set up as expected with 3 beds, but for 3 person it seemed a bit small than expected. As if they squeezed the 3rd bed in the corner, under the window, when it was blowing cold air at night.
- The bathroom door was cracking and it was so loud, that would wake up my family during my night bathroom visits. I asked the reception and it was fixed on the 2nd day after the request.
- Although the room was quite clean, one day one of the towels and pillow cover came with black spots.
- In room tea was not replaced when we used it.
- Also they don't provide conditioner and don't add more soap when you use those.
- If you are fond of watching TV, not good at all. TV screen was small like a PC Screen.
- Could be a bit cheaper considering the season and the shortcomings mentioned above.

Besides these, the receptionists and cleaning personnel is very helpful and nice. Wi-fi was good. Even though we didn't buy Breakfast initially, we could have it for $10 per person, but the breakfast offerings are the same every day. The location is perfect if you are planning to take Metro a lot, it is 3-4 minutes walk to metro and is in a very safe, clean and calm area.

A lovely hotel in a quiet area of town. A 15 minute walk to the Nou Camp and Metro about 200 yards away into the centre. A good clean hotel that met all of our needs.

Well located with good support for tourist, the hotel disappointed in its cleannes and understanding about the guest needs - i.e. I was traveling with 2 yrs old baby and they separated an adult bed instead of an appropriate baby crib. Also, room was very small.

Very spacious. Someone must have been smoking in the hotel as our room smelled heavily of smoke. Great location. Air conditioner did not work well, but I think that may be typical in Barcelona. Staff were excellent. Great storage. Great shower pressure!

Wonderful hotel and employees!

We highly recommend this hotel in Barcelona. The employees were amazing despite being in a different country. They were always so helpful with directions and suggestions. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of a park. There was a mix of updated areas like the lobby and the old style charming elevator. There was a market across the street and everything was within a 5 minute walk for restaurants, buses, taxis and attractions. Cannot say enough about how much we would recommend this hotel!

I found the staff at this hotel to be VERY helpful during our week long stay. No, it is not right in the middle of things, but you are blocks away from a Metro stop that will take you anywhere. Highly Recommend because of the good service.

Basic but clean and comfortable

This is a no-frills hotel in a good location, around the corner from several office buildings (which was the purpose of my trip) and very near the metro stop Maria Cristina. Closest point of interest is the FC Barcelona stadium which is in walking distance. Room was clean and comfortable, but no extras: there was shampoo but no conditioner, bar soap but no washcloth, body wash but no lotion. Street was fairly noisy but I understand that's everywhere in Barcelona. Free wifi was lightning fast. Great little bakery across the street. I would stay there again because it was a good value.

Great Staff, OK hotel

The hotel, although a 4 stars, is pretty simple, looks quite old. Lifts are super old. room is not state of the art but was clean, quiet and big enough for us. As we didn't spend our days there it was ok. had a kettle to make coffee and tea, air condition was not great, it was cooling but not enough for Barcelona in August when there was 36 degrees all day... Staff were great! very helpful, courteous, and really did their best to make us feel welcome.

Stay on fifth floor July 2016.

The room was clean and tidy, bedding &a towels were changed daily. We were facing the Main Street, was quiet enough. Walls were thin, could hear guests in next room. TV had no BBC world news channel. Our beds were on soft side and did give up back ache. On the plus side, there were jars of sweets & marshmallows at reception for guest.

Bad start but overall was good.

My overall experience turned out to be fine. The start was pathetic. The room allocated to us had serious air conditioning issues. When we reached it was not working properly and later in the night it turned of. We couldn't sleep the whole night. We couldn't get another room because hotel was fully occupied. It was compensated by the hotel by returning the first day rent, an upgraded room and free breakfast for remaining two days. Overall it turned out to be a good stay apart from first day.

Other than the neighbors being beyond rude and loud (nothing the hotel can do about that) the stay was very pleasant. The walls are very thin, so cross your fingers you get a god neighbor! Also, there was some slight confusion about the \"Do Not Disturb\" sign and the room service. (I think, however, that said neighbors ripped our sign down...) It was close enough to the city that we could hop in a convenient cab and head on over, but far enough away that it was (externally) quiet and I felt safe.

Definitely not a 4* Hotel!

We arrived quite late and were only staying for one night, so chose the hotel mainly for its location. However, we felt the hotel did not match up to the advertising and supposed 4 star rating. The room was dated, smelled of moth balls and there was scribbled writing on the mirrors. Plus I have never seen crab sticks in a minibar!

No way this is a 4 star hotel-1 or 2 stars at best

The staff was very good, the lobby was \"modern\", but hot, and the room was awful, and I paid extra for an \"executive room\". The carpet was 12\" carpet tile that was completely worn out many years ago, and the furniture was very old, badly worn, and frankly was ready to be burned 10 years ago. The most serious problem, however, was the air-conditioning. My room had a weak air flow that could only maintain about 80°F, at best. They did give me a fan, and that helped. My friend had a room here where the air conditioning did not work at all. There may be rooms in the hotel that did have functional air conditioning, and maybe even furniture from this century, but it seems clear that at least some of the rooms really only merit \"one star\". My wife and I stayed in Barcelona two years ago and had a fine hotel, so it is not a problem with Barcelona. Another friend was staying up the street in a \"two star\" hotel, which by his description was far better than the Husa Arenas. The problem is with the Husa Arenas. Stay anywhere else!

Hotel location is not everything

This hotel is in a nice location and the staff are courteous. However, the hotel facilities are very disappointing. The elevator starts and stops abruptly, which is very annoying. The mattresses are awful. The rooms we were in had one chair in it. The tv is very small and poorly connected. I think this hotel needs renovation and new furniture. 4 stars for this hotel? No, I would rank it as a 2 star hotel.

I needed a place for a week and Husa Arenas was close to where I needed to be. The subway is two blocks away which easily gets you anywhere in town. There is a fruit store and a small grocery right across the street. Plenty of cafe's to burn time in as well. Two blocks away is also al large shopping mall where you can buy anything from books, luggage coats, etc. All in all I was pretty satisfied with my stay. I had to change rooms form a 1 bed to a 2 bed and the staff just made it happen. No extra charges which I thought was great.

Great for the price

About 10 minutes walking from Camp Nou, UPC and Diagonal avenue, but too far from city center and other attractions.
Pros: very clean, nice staff, free Wi-Fi, quiet neighborhood.
Cons: no iron nor coffee in the room, and breakfast is very expensive.
Overall it was a good bargain.

Good Hotel Close to ?

Overall the hotel was OK, extremely friendly staff, the rooms are relatively up to date, the fare is decent however the hotel is close to nothing unless I got my map of Barcelona all wrong. Howver there is a metro station about three blocks away and the metro in Bacerlona is top of the line, modern, clean and safe, once there you can hop on and go anywhere you like, nothing wrong with this place but location doesn't help it to get a better rating from me, I'd stay somewhere else just for the sake of being closer to sights of interest. I don't recommend using taxis they seem to enjoy ripping off tourists, get on the metro instead is cheaper, very straightforward and fun, bus system is also quite good and the metro tickets are valid for the bus rides as well.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. We were very satisfied with the availability of the subway for easy method of travel at a reasonable cost. It was near the Rambla and the Gothic area.

적당한 가격에 머물만한 괜찮은 숙소입니다.
관광지와는 거리가 좀 있지만 지하철역이 도보 5분이내에 있고 근처에 새벽까지하는 백화점 직영슈퍼가 있어요.
도보로 10분거리에 백화점도 있고 동네가 안전해서 소매치기 등 걱정이 없는게 큰 장점 같아요.

Muy lindo el hotel, sin embargo cuando llegamos nadie nos avisó que el aire no servía si no hasta que en la noche me di cuenta y me informaron que al día siguiente lo arreglaban.

En el app se habla de lavandería y tampoco tiene.

Por lo demás, todo buenisimo. Muy bien ubicado. Buena zona. Cerca del metro. Limpio.

Pulizia buona, camera spaziosa e letto molto grande e comodo, posizione discreta un po' distante dal centro ma vicinissima alla metro e ad una via commerciale con numerosi negozi e centri commerciali. Personale alla reception gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Migliorerei la colazione, in ogni caso accettabile. Ritornerei sicuramente in questo hotel.
