Room and staff were adequate but the restaurant leaves something to be desired. The food appeared to be pre-plated and microwaved at wrong temperature before serving. Other than the food, the hotel is a nice place and well-priced for the area.

Very far from the more touristy areas, which is a plus and a minus. 20 euro cab fare to get down to the train station or any of the more iconic areas (Sagrada Famalia, Placa de Cataluyna, ....). But a nice quiet family-oriented area that is very walkable with lots of nice places not too far away.

The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood with restaurants and markets close by. Do keep in mind that it is further removed from the main attractions in Barcelona so do be prepared to walk about an hour to the center or to take public transportation.

when i checked in i asked for a room to a higher floor. I was given a key to a 5th floor room and when i walked in using my key it was occupied. Very unsettling. When i told the front desk you gave me a room that was occupied, he responded \"well it shouldn't be\".

The rooms are very very small. The pictures make it look different so dont fall for it. The small bed is very uncomfortable. The AC unit dis not work so we had to sleep with the windows open and it was way noise, also the windows had very easy access to the street and easy to climb.

Even before arrival, the staff were incredibly responsive. I had a few questions regarding my stay and my email was responded to quickly and staff were very helpful.
During our stay the staff were always welcoming, polite and helped with any queries we had.
Our room was bright, clean and tidy and well maintained on a daily basis by the cleaning staff. The only downside to our stay was the comfort of the mattresses, which were on the firm side resulting in some disrupted sleep.
We did not use the restaurant facilities during our stay so cannot comment on food or drinks served here.
The pool area was always clean and tidy with us spending some relaxing times in the hot tub.
Located on a main road with bus stops to various destinations in close proximity and lots of little cafe’s and small restaurants near by.
A very pleasant stay and would stay again if visiting that area.

I stayed at the Catalonia Mikado because my brother was admitted to a nearby hospital. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, especially at breakfast (they had lactose free milk and gluten free bread available).
Pros: room faced the swimming pool at the back, very quiet, well designed room. Nice touch to have shower gel etc as a dispenser in the shower rather than wasteful individual containers. The room was very clean. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice.
Cons: the bathroom's door was made of frosted glass with a small gap around it. Not great if you share a room and need toilet/ shower privacy. The room felt cold, the heating only came on when we were in the room, and it took a while to warm up. Great eco-friendly measure but not very pleasant on a cold wet windy day.
Overalll we were very impressed at a time that was stressful for us. There are great restaurants a short walk away, and we would book again (hopefully for sighseeing and not family emergencies!)

The staff were very kind, and the place comfortable and welcoming. It was easy to find, and they had parking on site for a small fee. It was a short walk to many services including the city hop-on hop-off bus. The breakfast buffet was very good. I highly recommend this place for the value.

Modernish and clean rooms. Unfortunately other guests were smoking weed which engulfed the pool area and our room (we could not leave patio doors open). Did not like our room immediately adjacent to the breakfast area as it was extremely loud in the morning. Parking is very tight for an SUV

Arrived very late and check in took 20 mins so we were exhausted by the time we got to our room. Room was very tired: chipped laminate, dirty brown curtains, dirty shower curtain and smelled of cigarette smoke. Our 12 year old son said it looked like a prison. Complained the following morning and were given a renovated room which was a great improvement. Generally the hotel could have been cleaner but breakfast was good.

Would not recommend if you want to sleep :)

Not the hotels fault so don’t decide blame them at all, but hotel has no insulation so you can hear everything, every door slam I would wake up to, it was impossible to get a goods night sleep as people would wake up at 7am and slam their door waking me up, would not recommend this hotel if you want to sleep. It is soooo loud, also very small room ecspdcially for how much you pay, I paid 1200 aus for a week and my room was the same size as the hostel room of my friend, dissapointing seeing as I paid so much more. Staff were semi friendly. At one point I was crying at the pool and a staff member came up and gave me water so Thankyou to her but other then that the staff were not overly friendly.

I came for a meeting nearby. The cleaning service was the best I've ever seen. The place is near a high end residential area far away from the main tourist attractions. (20-30min bus/ subway). The room was very small itself, pretty barebone and not very fancy but had a nice big tub and shower and restroom. The swimming pool was tiny but beautiful although the hottub was freezing cold. The room did't have coffee or coffee maker but the front desk gave me an automatic water boiler and I bought instant coffee. I didn't try their breakfast but looked very good. The room had a dorm size fridge. The neighborhood has many nice coffee shops and bars that you actually see real Barcelona people and stay in quiet neighborhood but defintely get the all zone metro pass. There ia a bus stop right infront of you and metro station to Catalunua is 10min walk.

Amazing boutique hotel in a very nice area of Barcelona. Our room for 3 was very comfortable. Although not large it was well configured and had a fridge! Pool available although closes early at 8 pm!! Bar well stocked and staffed. Helpful staff.

Very helpful staff. Called from the airport to ask what the easiest way to the hotel was and they advised perfectly. Was greeted at the front door by name and was escorted to my room. Great place for a clean room and bath and easy location to many of Barcelona’s attraction. Super close to the subway which allows you easy transport.

Clean room in a great location

The hotel is in a great, safe location. Nearby are several restaurants and markets with kind staff. The room itself is modern and very clean. Crisp white sheets and blankets. We had dinner at the hotel once and had good service- food was decent. The front desk staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, including ordering you a taxi.

Great location, shame about the noise!

The initial member of staff who checked me in was extremely rude. The room was smaller than the images show. It was extremely noisy; the walls are like paper, the doors slam shut no doubt waking up the whole corridor and the floors are laminate with no sound proofing, so every time someone walked on the floor above me or at the side it echoed through to my room. There were no coffee making facilities or ironing board in the room, this I believe should be a minimum standard for any modern day hotel. I say this as the area is residential with quite a few head offices and private clinics. They should cater for their business clientele.

The room and facilities were excellent value for money. The staff were fantastic and very friendly and hepful. The down side were three things: 1. The aircon was noisey and not working proerly. 2. Some building work going on in the hotel- drilling! 3. Because the room was cold, we needed a blanket on the bed to sleep. However, there wasn't a blanket in the wardrobe! :(

Beautiful hotel in Saria, Barcelona

It is a perfect hotel for a good price. Very clean, nice rooms allthough small, perfect service, the personnel could not be any nicer, friendlier or more polite.
The hotel is like 6 metro stops to the center and is in the richest neghbourhood of Barcelona. The area is nice and quiet and safe.
I liked the little garden, the pool, the jacuzzi. The breakfast was not huge variety but had everything for every taste from hot to cold stuff , fruits, vegetables and sweets. They were super ok. Could compete with a 4 star easily and I am saying this after traveling virtually all around the world and staying in all luxury hotels one can imagine.

Lovely clean hotel. Friendly helpful staff who speak English. Rooms are very clean with shower over bath, hairdryer and TV. There is a small fridge with drinks and chocolate which is chargeable. Good comfortable beds which are well made up each day. There is a small safe for valuables but you need a key from reception and there is a charge for this facility. Small drinks bar in reception with seating area. It has a restaurant which serves buffet style breakfast as well as evening meals if required. Small decking area at rear with leisure pool and jacuzzi. There are plenty of restaurants/cafés in the area within easy walking distance. Well worth returning to.

El hotel es magnífico. La localización, en lo mejor de Barcelona, la amabilidad del personal, la posibilidad de parking a un precio razonable, las instalaciones modernas. La habitación es un poco pequeña pero sigue siendo cómoda y con un baño muy funcional. No desayunamos pero tenía muy buena pinta. Creo que hicimos una buena opción y, sin duda, repetiremos. Es la opción ideal si vas a visitar Barcelona y estar en la habiación para descansar o dormir, no muchas horas.

Tutto molto positivo , posizione, quartiere , pulizia , comfort , una cosa negativa se proprio vogliamo trovare il pelo nell' uovo è il terzo letto a scomparsa che le gambe su cui poggiava erano inclinate e rimaneva in bilico e il buffet a 17€ veramente troppo eccessivo anche se eccellente.

Nunca había estado en cuarto de hotel de ese tamaño, increíblemente pequeño !!! Austero, parecía una caja de zapatos, el pasillo de acceso muy pequeñito, se escuchaban los estornudos de otras habitaciones, el celular. Y más para el precio. No lo recomiendo

O quarto para três pessoas era pequeno, mas o café da manhã e a proximadade de uma região muito boa de Barcelona compensou esse incômodo.
Um ponto negativo é a porta do banheiro ser de vidro, poderia ser de madeira para aumentar a privacidade.

Schoon en rustig hotel, dicht bij goede restaurants. Ik verkeerde alleen in de veronderstellig een kamer geboekt te hebben voor Euro 110,00 (1Persoon). Bij afrekeing bleek het 130,00 te zijn plus bijkomende kosten 154,96. Exlusief ontbijt Euro 15,00. Vreemd!
