Lovely welcome from staff, room ready early and spacious. Hard mattress ☹️ and some noise from street /other guests but great location with lots of options for coffee/snacks. Also had to borrow an adaptor as forgot ours which was provided by hotel for our stay 🎉

Booked last minute and was glad there was a triple room available. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the bar was a good place to relax. We did not get to try the breakfast. Helped us have a fun trip to Barcelona in the nice and quiet Gracia neighborhood.

Located in a quite part of the city. Bus connections are convenient. Everything is a bout 30 minutes away. Hotel staff are helpful. Hotel property is nice. Bed is super comfortable. We did not use the available breakfast, but that is an option and they looked busy. Room had a kitchen, but hotel said they would charge if you used it to cook in.

The location is good as it’s a walking distance from Gracia station and a few bus stops nearby. Wifi is too slow - often disconnected.
The room is ok - acceptable level. However, the safe in the room is a crap. We couldn’t unlock the safe for twice during our stay and had to raise the same issue for multiple times until they took actions needed.
As the safe didn’t work appropriately, we had to keep all valuables in our suitcase and bring it to the reception for them to keep it everyday before going out.
This happened to another safe in a different room as well - so it was not unique to the specific safe. Not well maintained. Do not use the safe in the room as in the worst case scenario, you cannot unlock it to collect items before checking out.
The safe in the room is designed as a “smart safe” where you can lock and unlock the safe by using the app. However, the staff told us not to use the app as it didn’t work well and ask us to use PIN code to do so - there is no such instructions in the room and manual PIN functionality didn’t work either, meaning the safe is useless.
I would refund some of the paid accomodation fee if I were the hotel manager due to extremely inconvenient circumstances, but it seem that they didn’t even felt sorry about the issue.
In addition to the above safe issue, the towel and some amenity goods were not replaced for a couple of times during our stay. The quality of housekeeping is below standard.

I love this place! It offers everything you need for a confortable stay in Barcelona. Near the metro and bus stations, a lovely neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants and great people. Rooms are super clean, cozy and big. This is my second time in this hotel and will not change for any other.

This would have been a five star review except for the flat refusal of the hotel to switch on the air conditioning in the rooms. The air conditioning was on in the lobby but the rooms were as hot as hades but according to the staff it was still winter. It was 75f outside

We think the Aparthotel Mariano Cubi Barcelona closed a few days before we arrived in Barcelona. They did not inform us nor was anyone answering their phones. We arrived in the afternoon to find the place locked and closed. I contacted Expedia immediately to find out what happened and was told via their chat that Expedia had no record of my reservation even after I shared itinerary number. Expedia informed me via email at approximately 8:30 pm that same day to tell me it was closed long after we had found another place to stay. It made for a frustrating day. With all that is happening in the world with a Covid-19 I hope that the employees at the Aparthotel Mariano Cubi Barcelona are healthy and being taken care of by the owners.

Got given the wrong room at check in (happened before at previous hotel not associated with this because they sold our room - so not a fan of hotels not giving the correct room) but the issue was resolved swiftly by the staff. The reception and hallways were so well designed, very nice feel. The rooms themselves were good, but were slightly too minimalist, no colour, plants, art. Could’ve done with the same attention to detail as the reception, bar, hallways of the hotel.

The apartahotel is old, they didn’t reform it since ages. The noise from the street is terrible, why don’t you change the windows to reduce the noises? It’s a nightmare, you cannot rest!

Great location. Great price. Loved not being in the middle of the tourist areas, but close to what we wanted to see. Staff was engaged and helpful. Breakfast every morning was amazing and service was excellent. Also loved not being on a main thorough fare. Our room was large, clean and comfortable and the check in staff were excellent. The kitchenette is very handy and the bathroom spacious. We really enjoyed our stay, the area is not touristy so you can feel like a local, but there is still a lot happening. We walked a lot around Barcelona which we enjoyed, including all the way to the water which may be too far for some but is very easy and doable for most. We would definitely return to this hotel.

The hotel was in a very good location but basically that is the only positive point for this hotel. The sound proofing was terrible in fact don’t believe there was any... you could hear absolutely everything from upstairs or next room and also outside. Also instead of a double bed there was two single beds put together and they were as hard as bricks... worst night sleep ever had.This is definitely not a 4 star hotel this rating needs to be reviewed... I will definitely not be returning to this hotel or will not be recommending it either.

Large hotel rooms in the middle of the city. Parking, while available, is limited and TINY, so if you have a larger vehicle, be aware. But that's not unusual for Europe. Overall the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are large and clean. WiFi went out for the last day, but we weren't in the hotel much as we were out exploring the city.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even upgraded our room to a room with a terrace.
Room was newly renovated and very comfortable.
The area itself was very nice especially for those who like getting a feel for the less touristic areas of a city. That being said, the hotel is very close to nice bars, cafes and restaurants.

Nice hotel on quiet street
If you don’t mind waking, this hotel is nice. Not on the main strip, on a quiet alley next to it though. My boyfriend and I don’t mind walking everywhere so everything was about a 20 min walk, which we didn’t mind. But I could see how it might be tough for people who don’t want to walk that. Was close to a public transportation area but we did not use that, but it is accessible. Was under construction at the time of our visit but they didn’t work during sleeping hours. Friendly staff, very helpful. Comfortable bed and a nice balcony over looking the streets.

We had a great time eventhough it was a very short vacation. The room we had was great. It was accurately the same as it is described in the advertisement. Very comfortable & clean. The hotell staffs are very accomodating. Although the location is in the city center but a bit difficult to find. But we used google maps so it helped a lot. All in all it was a great experience. The hotel is recommendable! 😊

Perfect location and great accommodations
The location was just where we wanted to be, with a grocery store and a bakery down the block. They have different room configurations, and I was very pleased with a large double that had a sink and a counter top, in addition to the standard table and coffee table, it made making our breakfasts and lunches very easy. The staff was very helpful in guiding us and in meeting our special needs.

This was one of the worst service experience i have ever experienced. Made the mistake of prepaying so i still hope i get refunded for the nights i didnt use. Hope they will seriously re-consider the way they talk to the clients and approach. When we checked in they said our 2 year old son could stay in our room without extra bed. The morning after they charged us 50€ extra for the 2 year old.... pretty weird stuff... should have told us when we checked in.

Room was facing street in 2nd floor so lots of noise from party people, motorcycles, cars blowing horns.......we were 3 adults in room so it was a little bit crowded since we had 3 single beds but rooms have perfect size for a vacation for 2
