Nice location, nice staff. I did not eat breakfast, just coffee, no coffee in the rooms. Small room but I was solo. You leave your key with the staff when you leave the hotel, I was fine with it, other hotels in Europe also do it. Small bathroom for sure.

It’s not a bad place to stay on a budget, especially if you’re traveling solo, need privacy, and are going to be outside most of the time. The housekeepers brought me fresh towels, toilet paper, soap and a new trash bag on mornings when I needed to sleep through the service period in the morning. The lounge downstairs had a microwave that I wish I knew about earlier (for leftovers — lots of great affordable restaurants in the vicinity). The hotel’s within walking distance from bus and train stations that can easily take you to attractions like Parc Güell and the Arc de Triomf, and the area gets quiet after midnight. The blackout curtains don’t exactly block all light so you may need to sleep with an eye mask for a sound night’s rest.
My biggest complaint is the wi-fi connection being weak in my room and inconsistent throughout the hotel. Foreign travelers like myself often use eSIMs with limits in data, and I would’ve preferred to use Wi-Fi in the apartment to chart my daily plans, access the Internet, etc.
Overall, it’s ideal for someone with a hostel budget looking for privacy.

Exactly what you would expect for the price. I had a nice stay here & would use again for short stays. It is an excellent place to stay for the surroundings- Carrer de Blai is 6 yards away, line 2 metro a 2 minute walk. You can walk in to city centre in 15/20 minutes. Great location!

Noisy, uncomfortable beds
This room was very noisy. You could hear everything through the walls it sounded like the neighbor having a conversation was in the room with me. Doors a slamming all throughout the night. The bed was very uncomfortable. The shower was minuscule. Imagine the smallest shower you've ever seen in your life meant for a child and this is probably smaller than it.
The blankets on the bed Had large burn holes in them and looked dirty. I don't know if they ever wash the blankets every day I would take the blankets off and put them on the floor but they would put them back on the bed.
There is no phone in the room so if you have to get in touch with anyone at the front desk you have to go down to the front desk directly

I stayed in room 115, it was an internal room with no natural light. The only window in the room opened onto an internal fire escape, and had bars on the window. The walls were thin, and you could hear waste running down the drains. I'd recommend taking earplugs if you intend to stay here.

It was located in an area easy to walk to any kind of food, breakfast and lunches. Not a fancy place, but clean. Small rooms like most European rooms. Our room had a very small window, facing another building. It was very good for people that are not in the room only to sleep.

The shower is smaller than the shower in my RV, which made it nearly impossible to use. The bathroom is so small I had to sit sideways on the toilet. Only 1 battery for the tv and a/c control so had to keep switching it back and forth. Breakfast is grossly overpriced, it just juice, coffee, and bread.

The hotel is on a good place, but not very clean, also not very dirty, but you can notice, that it's not well cleaned. The breakfast is pointless, coffee is bad and you basicly only get to make sandwiches - ok, to sleep for a couple of nights, but go to some cafeteria over the corner - cheaper and better breakfast.

Nothing about the hotel or staff was actually a problem for me. The biggest reason I would not stay here again was simply the location. It's a good location and it's near stuff. But it's directly above a line of tapas and my first night there people were up and screaming until 3am and I could not sleep. The cops were called at least twice on those people that night. The walls were too thin for it to be that close to where a lot of people go out to party and drink.

The hostel would have been sufficient if there was a decent WiFi connection (very weak), not so thin walls, and found a used razor around the drainage. While I understand that you pay a premium for single bedrooms in a hostel, I would have hoped the cost matched what you got. If you, like me payed around $50, I would suggest getting a hotel instead for maybe 50% more

The hotel was very nicely situated, with good connections, near important sites like the port and Mont Juic. The personnel was very friendly, after the first night, they even remembered me by name. The facilities very basic, the room was small but clean. The bathroom had a bathtub that was stuck, but it was clean.
Perhaps the only problem was the fact that you could hear very well the neighbour's noises. During the night it was peaceful, but you cannot sleep long on the morning, if you are sensitive to noise.

The Hostel was just what we needed for a one night stay, there were 3 of us in a 4 single bed room and it was perfect for us! Was very spacious and the bathroom was big, the bathroom was more like a wet room but it was absolutely fine! TV too and you could set the air con to whatever you wanted. Was very good for the price we paid (around 65 euros for a Saturday night)

Totally worth the price
Rooms are tiny but contain exactly what you need after a day of sightseeing - good bed and private bathroom. The whole hotel was clean and nicely decorated with pictures of Barcelona and modern paintings. All staff was very professional, friendly and helpfull. We got a good use of the common room on the ground floor where we met with our traveling friends every night for a drink and chat about the plans for the next day. It's located very conveniently - walking distance to lots of tourist attractions and less than 5 minutes to the closest subway station. It was only 5 stops to Sagrada Familia without having to swtich to other subway lines. Totally worth the price.

Too expensive for what you get. Room smelled of old drainage, the batroom shower curtain was in mould, the former white towels was grey, the bath surface wasn't shaning white. However, good location. Just few minutes from la rambla street. Do not book a taxi from the hotel, it takes ages to find it for them, better to catch from the steet.

We had a week visiting friends in Barcelona for the first time. This hotel was nearby and was faultless for our needs. If like us, you like a VERY clean (spotless everywhere), friendly, no thrills, budget hotel, such as this is, then you can't go wrong. With 24 hour security / reception, free WiFi, breakfast 7:30 - 10:30 each day it was a very good choice indeed. During our wonders through Barcelona no better looking simular priced hostel could I find... and 12 noon check out was good also.

Nice small place. It wasn't a fancy hotel which I didn't mind for the price I paid. breakfast station could use a little more variety. It wasn't too bad to pay the extra amount if you're by yourself. If you're going with the family, I would eat out side of the hotel in the morning.

I had misplaced some money on the first day and was very stressed about it and thought someone may have taken it From my room. the staff were so nice it was unbeleievable. I was rude yet they still were extremely kind telling me they just want me to be happy and enjoy the stay. When I found my money later that day I apologized and the staff were so forgiving. I was embarrassed and they made me feel completely better.
I had also accidentally booked 2 rooms and noticed a few weeks before my stay. The hostel completely refunding my second room without any issue. Such a relief.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff at breakfast though acknowledged us on the first morning and subsequently ignored us on the other 4 days as they were reading the newspaper. On checking out, reception had no record of our total number of breakfasts. They thought we had had 2 breakfasts instead of 10.

The location was great - walking distance to La Rambla and the beach. Plus, next to a street of Tapas restaurants. However, the walls were very thin and the people in the rooms next to ours kept us awake throughout the night. If you like a dark room it would be good for you - the window went into a well. Although that may have just been ours.

2 beds, no floor space for suitcases. Street noisy to very late night (Grand Prix weekend). Road construction of big sewer project at cross street meant noise & dust & problems with access. Taxi left us several blocks away. Not the hotel or the neighbourhood we would have chosen, but had to be happy enough to get a comfortable bed on that crazy weekend.

Fuimos a un concierto y solo pasamos una noche alli, la habitacion un poco claustrofobica, porque solo tenia una ventana sin luz que no daba a la calle, el desayuno poca cosa , pero para 6 euros no se puede pedir mucho mas. Hacia frio y tuvimos que pedir otra manta, porque solo habia una manta delgada y un cobertor. Y en el ascensor solo podian subir 2 personas, porque era pequeño. Pero bueno en un hostal tampoco puedes pedir mucho mas

The hostel is super centrally located. I had air conditioning and a tv in my room and a private bathroom. The room was cleaned every day. You can get everywhere on foot. The nearest metro station is only 3 min away. There are supermarkets everywhere.

Klimaanlegget er ute. 40 grader uten klimaanlegg. Stedet lukter dårlig jeg mistenker på grunn av mugg og fuktighet. På kjøkkenet er maten veldig dårlig, nesten ikkje mat, og insekter er på toppen av maten. Jeg har mange bilder, men klart ikke å leste opp.

En general esta bien, ubicacion excelente para caminar a todos lados o tomar metro. Cerca de bares y restaurantes. Podrian mejorar el estado de cañerias. El agua del baño de la habitación del piso de arriba se escuchaba MUY fuerte en nuestra habitacion.

Hola, algunas personas en Recepción no son amables. Adicionalmente en la parte de afuera se tienen unos recipientes gigantes recolectores de basura, lo que hace que hayan mosquitos y que estos ingresen a la habitación. Por último, el hotel se encuentra en una esquina y se escucha demasiado ruido, tanto por la calle como por la carrera. Gracias

Hotel orrendo, la stanza era circa 50 cm più grande del letto, il pavimento non vedeva uno straccio da mesi e mesi e il condizionatore oltre che rumoroso era pieno di polvere. La finestra dava a una scala di emergenza interna quindi non entrava luce a nessuna ora del giorno. Il tutto alla modica cifra di 100 euro a notte!
