This boutique hotel was a gem! Situated within walking distance to all the historic sites but in a very quiet square . The staff were outstanding, especially Nicole, who was always available to make our stay even more enjoyable! One feature I really appreciated as a Canadian, this was the first European hotel of the many I have visited in the past 3 months, that had facecloths! Breakfast was incredible..huge variety beautifully presented. Lovely cozy renovated breakfast room….much prettier than the picture. Shops and restaurants nearby and each room had heat and air conditioning. Easy Uber ride from airport or train station.I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. It is not 4 star quality however. The staff is abrupt and not as friendly as you would expect. Our maid service was horrible. I had to ask for shampoo and toilet paper! They did not make the bed properly. We had to redo it ourselves. I would expect more from a 4 star hotel. The breakfast buffet is very nice, if you can stand the loud annoying music. Nice atmosphere, great location, rooms a bit too small for 2 people, even for Europe. I would not stay here again.

Lovely hotel and staff.Room was small, but fine for 2 nights.Nicely decorated, good air con and coffee machine with pods. Safe in the room. We could get BBC 1. Only a couple of minutes walk to main square, but in a very quiet street. Breakfast was perfect, smoked salmon, hot eggs and bacon, freshly squeezed orange and even prosecco if you wanted it. Only niggles were the little wall lamps at headheight over the bed which were difficult to avoid. Also the pillows were a bit small.

The best!

This place is a hidden gem! Wonderful, friendly and helpful service. Nice breakfast on beautiful china. Great location out of the tourist chaos, but so close to walking everywhere. I highly recommend this place, and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bruges!
*I had to leave super early one morning due to a Belgian train strike (had to be on a bus at 6am to Amsterdam). One of the ladies booked me a taxi for the next morning for 5:30, and the driver was exactly on time easing my stress. ❤️

The hotel is nice and as we travelled during Xmas period - it was nice, cosy and warm. However, a few massive disadvantages in the room: the shower doesn't have either a door or a curtain, a toilet's light was a movement sensitive, so literally you do your stuff there in complete darkness (sorry for details, but it was just awful!!!) and a host was cool about it saying that nobody ever asked questions about and made me feel bad like I was demanding fool... So it is a nice hotel, a great location, but these two things is such a turn off...

Great boutique hotel in Bruges. Excellent breakfast, nice staff and a short 5 minute walk from the central square. And as a bonus: one of the best beer shops (sorry the name escapes me right now but you can't miss it) in Bruges is only about 300 meters or so from the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff.

The hotel and staff were wonderful. The location was central. We were able to leave our luggage on the last day and return later to take a taxi to the train. The breakfast had a huge selection with a gorgeous area to eat. A small bar area which allowed you to meet friends and start your evening. Quiet to sleep and independent entry if you were out late. I would definitely stay again.

The best small hotel. You won’t be disappointed!!

This was absolutely the best small quaint hotel we have stayed in. I believe they have under 20 rooms and each one is beautifully wallpapered and furnished impeccably. It was so comfortable that you almost didn’t want to leave your room but Brugge is a delightful town that you have to see. A true chocolate box.
Their location is perfect. In the middle of an area near canals and a few blocks from the center of old town.
They serve a great breakfast and there are other numerous choices to eat close by. Next door is an amazing local restaurant where on a beautiful day you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the canals.
The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable even giving you a map with all the local top attractions. They all speak English which is helpful for those of us who don’t speak the language.

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Biskajer. Lovely boutique room, not the largest but cosy with enough space for your luggage. A great selection of food and drinks for breakfast with friendly helpful staff who made me feel very welcome. The hotel itself is within walking distance of all the major attractions in Bruges, just round the corner from a quaint little square by the canal. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be coming back next time I'm in Bruges! 😊

It is a nice hotel, in a good location, but I can’t call it 4 *. It is like B&B. Room was Nicky fit sided , but so dark, I could only bread in the loo. The charging point was under a dude table , so now that have tongi on your knees. Breakfast was nice. but no special place to leave your luggage. They left it in the office , but when I came to collect it, it was all covered with dirty linen.,So no way 4 *

Two suggestions for the management :
1. The toilet is very inconfortable. If you turn 90 degrees will be perfect.
2. Inside shower we don’t have a place to put shampoo and soap

Bed was super comfy, but not the pillows which were very lumpy. Went to have a bath and there was a big crack in the bath, so could not use. Could not change the air con to warm.
Told reception of the issue of the bath and they did not seem to care. This hotel is not 4star and very expensive for sub standard accommodation

We found the room to be clean and tidy, and the bed was firm and comfortable for a good nights sleep. The windows open to allow in fresh air, which was nice for sleeping. The bathroom has both a tub and a shower, which was a nice feature not often found, the hotel staff was amazingly nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Bruges.

Charming small hotel

A small charming hotel with a good breakfast included. A variety of hot and cold options and fresh, fresh bread. As importantly, the bed was so so comfortable! Hotel is very centrally located and it’s super simple to use public transport to get there from the train station.

Great place to stay.

This is a lovely hotel about 5 minutes walk from the very centre. Check in was efficient and the little box of chocolates was a lovely touch. The room we stayed in was very nice and spacious. The hotle doesn't offer evening meals but the choice nearby is varied and would satisfy most preferences. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice of warm and cold buffet. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We have stayed in many hotels in Bruges and this was as good as we have experienced. I wish we could have stayed longer. I will stay again if i return to Bruges.

Tucked away hidden gem

Absolutely fantastic hotel in a tucked away spot in the city. Bruges is a very walkable city that’s touristy enough to be comfortably traveled by only English soakers. I enjoyed being away from the main drag and having a quiet, clean, and comfortable place to rest. My only complaint is the pillows, bit hard for my tastes, but that’s only a personal preference.
