Room was clean and spacious; hotel is in a good location. Biggest problem is, the hotel is used by charities to house homeless people on a temporary basis so it can be somewhat noisy overnight. Can walk to supermarket, 200 metres, and the Dandenong market with fresh foods and clothes etc. Check in staff were fast and helpful.

Worst of all, staff force you to pay deposit without notice knowingly you cant get a refund. Have to spend 30 min at reception to sort out stupidly unannounced clause at last minutes should be banned ffrom hotel.com for goodo sort out unclear

It was ok for a “beside the highway” cheap and cheerful hotel for a single night.

Rough area around the hotel.

The hotel room was clean but some aspects needed maintenance. The bathroom had been renovated recently, but the carpet and walls were stained. The table in the room had someone's name scratched into the surface with a knife.

The bed was hard, but the sheets clean and neatly made.

The room only had a bar-fridge and kettle. There was no microwave or toaster.

Overall it was ok.

Only when destitute!!

Morning of checkout I tried to rebook the room for another night stay online but accidentally selected the room that was $14 cheaper and once they realised I had booked online weren’t happy with me at all and said they will not refund even if I was to rebook the room I was meant to select and said I have to leave in 10 mins or they will call police coz it was dead on check out time of 10am and then told me if I pay for the room outright with cash I can stay. So wanted to charge me for the full room price on top of the card amount they had already received. There was no microwave or toaster only kettle in the room and to top it all off they tried to state that I wasn’t going to receive a key for the room and if I need to go out I would need to get reception to open back up for me once I returned. Very disappointing since myself and two children were kept awake all night with yelling and screaming from other people staying and a party going on 2 rooms down that was held till early hours of morning.

The aircon heating was malfunctioning and remote controller had a cracked glass making it difficult to see.
There were cigarette burns on the blanket.
The light above the wash hand basin didn’t work.
No hand towel supplied in bathroom.
The window Was very difficult to close.

Way to much Road noise, staff to hard to understand what they are saying, also we are a family of 4 and yes room had 4 beds but only 2 of everything in room like towels, cups, pillows etc so I had to go up and down stairs a few times to get extras for the kids 😩

The receptionist was very quick in calling a cab to take me from hotel to Dandenong Station.
He knew exactly how much the ride was going to charge me and to get to Melbourne airport
by SkyLine Bus. Good man- he has been to California also!

I was in the main building.The bathroom was beautiful and functional. The room and bathroom were spacious. Everything was spotlessly clean.
There were some people staying in the rooms outside the main building who made me uncomfortable- they seemed to be on drugs. However, where I was in the main building I felt comfortable and safe.

Staying with 2x small children & too many patrons staying in the units at the back of the complex that they dont need to associate with.
Plenty of drunk people arriving at all times of the day.
Saturday morning was woken by a domestic violence dispute that resulted in a man being arrested. 1 hour later 2x Ambulances were outside a unit

Avoid this place it’s scary!

Absolutely terrible tried to call hotels.com to see if we could change hotels but couldn’t get through, very unsafe place to stay with family crackheads running through carpack.
It’s a half way house for the homeless not a private hotel, got to our room kids shoes on the floor the bed had been laid on went down and complained to the manager wasn’t helpful at all, gave me a new room which then smelt like bad BO, food for the homeless supplies in main reception at the front desk, so random people with smelly trollies are constantly in and out, definitely not worth $181 dollars, terrible experience

We have always used Comfort Inn when we stay with our friends in Dandenong.
The rooms have been refurbished but there was definitely something wrong this time with room 135.
There was a foul smell coming from the bathroom drain & the air con cover was broken.
To be honest I was also concerned about the people that were hanging around the car park asking for money & telling you they were homeless.
This time I felt very uncomfortable.
Don't think I will be back in a hurry.

Thought it was strange when a security guard was on front gate and told me to park in certain area because thats where the cameras where on 24 hours a day. Hoodlums riding around car park . Left early due to constant swearing fighting abuse towards a particular lady ,Rap music all heard from the inside of my room for hours. Felt unsafe had to leave and find another hotel. Front desk was extremely rude and would not give refund for night. Stayed in alot of places in my day , Hands down worst ive ever stayed in

Will probably never stay here again. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, there was dirty brown water marks all over the basin and hairs left everywhere. (Pretty poor as we are still in a pandemic.) The Windows were broken, so we had to listen to people yell and scream all night.

They opted to pay at the motel, but took the money out of my account beforehand anyway. Reception were also less than accommodating when I found out my surgery had been cancelled and no longer needed the room. I understand cancellation policies are in place, but they weren’t even the slightest bit empathetic about the situation. Will definitely be staying elsewhere next time.

The room was small, dark, a horrible funky smell, bed was lumpy, saggy and very uncomfortable. Staff showed us another room, that too was a dark room with a funky smell, one bed was ok, the other was uncomfortable, sagging and lumpy. We checked in at 3pm and checked out at 3.15pm. There was no chance of us staying here. Staff would not refund, offered a credit to come back, no chance I'd ever be back.

This motel is also used for short term accommodation for homeless people. I was unaware of this and upon checking in for 3 nights, noticed numerous people who appeared drug/alcohol effected wandering around the foyer and the carpark. The corridor to my room was dirty, had cracks and a hole in it where it appeared to have been kicked or punched. My room was clean and comfortable, but that was the only good thing about my stay. I would not recommend staying here for any reason at all.

When searched online it confirmed it had a pool. Upon arrival there was no pool. When showing reception online it said a pool, was just disregarded and said there’s a public pool down the road. We booked the room for 2 adults and 2 kids, and only supplied 2 towels for 4 people.

Most of the day as well just outside reception, there were a group of people drinking all day and was not a good look for the kids having to walk past them every time leaving the hotel.

Will not be recommending this place.

Stayed 4 nights here in August. We asked for a quiet room, and they placed us directly above where all the cars come in, and where all the smokers stand and chat outside Reception! Thanks! We asked to be moved because of this and loud \"adult\" noises from next door. Not the hotel's fault of course but their response was that we should have reported it at the time and they would have called the room! There are no staff present at night, so I don't know how they could have dealt with it if the \"guests\" chose not to answer. Upon arrival, I asked if there was a guest laundry. Response was a curt \"no\". That was it, no suggestion, no apologies, nothing. Yet the advertising indicates a laundry, so when my wife asked another staff member, he gladly gave her directions to it. You can buy a sachet of powder for $1 and the wash is $3, dryer is $3. But the dryer didn't dry and we had wet clothes hung around our room for a day. Reported it, and it will get passed to Maintenance. Again, no apology, no offer of money back. Breakfast served from 7am and when I arrived at 8am, there was no coffee left, no bread except fruit bread and no fruit option. Several dirty tables as well. But for $10, it was ok once they had been replenished. Unfortunately, no other options close by. I was also billed incorrectly at check in, which meant they had to refund me, which took a further 4 days! There is just no attention to detail or customer service here.
