extra charge for parking onsite after arrival . remote for tv had no rear cover so had to firmly hold battery in place or didnt work . toilet seat was melted and rough . Soap dispenser was on floor of shower not on wall it had been broken off before my arrival . staff were rarely in reception during times advertised so very hard to ask for fixes . I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN ibis had been a fair place to stay previously in nsw vic ( dandenong) but not anymore after this eye opener . IBIS has failed .

They have made a number of updates and the property no longer has a slight negative vibe, I would have liked to see the $5 parking charge advertised a bit clearer but was happy to pay as the car parks feel more secure. Overall, enjoyable stay!!

The hotel has good rooms for the price, and is easy to find. The room appeared clean, aside from a large brown stain (around 4cm diameter) on the top sheets - wondered if the sheets where clean or reused. The staff just performing a function, were not engaging or welcoming. The rooms are very noisy, with other users seemingly using the corridors as an extension of the room - an example walking a crying baby up and down the corridor on multiple occasions through the night - being woken up on multiple occasions by a crying baby outside the door. In the morning another guest was asking for more food items at breakfast - it wasn't being replenished. The modern conveniences aside the facility felt similar to being in a small village.

You get what you pay for

Staff were nice, the room was run down and needed some TLC (despite being fairly recently refurbished) but we had clean sheets and towels and no nasty surprises. We didn't take the free breakfast option, instead opted to go find somewhere a little nicer.

I booked one double bed for myself and my older son, and a bunk bed for my younger son. When we checked in, the reception staff were a bit rude, unfriendly, and asked too many unnecessary identity questions.

When we went to the room, the bunk bed was dirty, dusty, had no sheets, and only a blanket that was also dusty. I immediately raised the issue with reception, but was told that they \"do not set up the bunk bed\" and that \"it is what it is.\" When I asked for a refund or a different room, I was told it was non-refundable and that no other rooms were available.

Because of this, I had no choice but to leave. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

Room wasn't terrible, but could be cleaner.

Blanket was clean, but very old and with stain marks all around.

Bathroom showing signs of age. Water leaking from shower tap. No shower curtain, so water went everywhere during shower, including toilet and toilet paper.

Room wasn't cleaned over a 4 night stay, so some wet towels left on the floor (had to use them to dry bathroom floor so we could walk on it).

Breakfast was also disappointing. Very few options, and items not replaced when empty, unless you keep asking for them.

They ran out of cups, plates, mugs, cutlery, bread, juice across several days and not have replacements.

Paid for the hotel through hotels.com, have never had an issue with any until this one. I called prior to arrival and was assured all is well, they could see my booking and that my serivce dog was no issue (as she had to double check with the their \"management\" .. i arrived and they proceeded to check me in with no issues. Took my dog who was tired into the room we were asigned, and as i went back down to get his water and the rest of my luggage, the lady on reception stated \"im sorry, you havent paid\" there is nothing coming up in our system... and made me call all companies to confirm such payments had been placed and paid for. This answer was still not good enough, even the reicept wasnt enough. By this time my dog had been trapped in such a confined space for about 2 hours, as she had locked the keycard given to me. Made me call wayss in Dandenong, to which some how was transffered to the one in Werribee? To which i know i did not call, and they werent able to help me with any accommodation after having to explain my situations time and time again. Ling story short, wasnt allowed to stay, had to leave, got my dog and left.. then at 9.30pm the same day, i get a phone call asking am i coming to stay in the room i paid for? And thus expressed my concerns of travel expenses and the humiliation i was caused due to the wosrt experience, i felt i should of recieved some form of compensation, like a free breakfast or room upgrade, to which they denied and never called me back

My room tv wasn’t working. Staff tried to turn on however he couldn’t. A kettle and tea coffee facility available at room. Toilet seat and one coffee cup was broken.

Arrived and waited at the reception for about 10 minutes. Receptionist arrived and served other guests while I was sitting and waiting. He gave me the swipe for the room. I went up to the room at the second floor, was trying to open the door but couldn’t open it. I came back and told him what was happening. We went up with him to the room he swiped to open but guests were in the room.

Smells terrible in the hallways. Unclean. Room was tidy enough. Bed was terrible. Due for an upgrade. The gentleman at reception was there to take your money, give you your key. That was it. No customer service. Slouched in chair, bo eye contact. Nothing. Light in bathroom did not work. Had to leave door opened while showering. Wouldn't stay here again.

The room although small and very dated was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable and warm. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't like the look of the air conditioner so we didn't use it. The gardens were a bit unkempt however it was exceptional value for the money we were charged.

We stayed 2 nights. The room above us was always noisy, as if furniture been moved all night along. One morning , around 6 am , some odd looking guy , with a bottle in his hands knocks on our door , then says sorry. I report to reception, and I was told “ we will look at camera”. Nothing was reported back to us. Then same day , around midday, my adult children who were in another room, were asked why they haven’t left the room and it seemed more like they were been kicked out. Reception said we had
checked out. Apparently, reception found a door card in their check out box. They only ever gave us one door card key. When I asked reception what was all that about, they said , we found the key card in box. But they refused to understand that we only had one key card, and we had it with us and that may have been from previous check out. No apologies were made.

After showering I sat back on the bed & put my feet up on the white doona… the bottom of my feet were covered in dark fluff & hair which transferred onto the doona… floor obviously not swept & mopped cos the hair wasn’t my colour hair!! Then woken up in the middle of the night by banging doors & I swear I could hear someone snoring…

this was over all poor no sheet changes.

paid for breakfast but was not ready at 8 am
no coffee didn't even have breakfast 2 out of four mornings
as there was nothing supplied. just a poor experience.
3 sheets and a donna with cotton balls on it does not make a good bed would not recommend this place to anyone.

I didn't find anything unique about the property. But I found it quite disturbing to have a man and woman staying next to my room physically fighting and screaming in the middle of the night and again later on. I could hear the sickening punches to her performed by the man and it made me feel quite nauseous actually....

The Staff were condescending.

No pillow cases and sheets dirty. Obviously the sheets were reused. Unable to contact office to change. Office contact number was not answered during the times stated.

Management lied about refund. This hotel does not meet any standards that align with Accor or American Xpress Platinum membership.

I have cancelled my Accor Plus membership in protest. A disgraceful hotel that has illustrated poor management with condescending attitudes.

The room I stayed in was next to a kitchen which was in use until 23:59 keeping me awake. There were children in the halls making lots of noise until 23:00. The room was dirty and illkept, the bathroom had mold!

The room was filthy. Mould in the shower, unknown substance sprayed up the bathroom door, bedside table had not been cleaned, black hair over the bed, mould around the door. Lock on the door was broken. Mentioned this staff and provided photos, the man at reception just shrugged his shoulders. No offer to re-clean the room or fix the broken door or move to another room (they were not full). I then requested a refund and told this would not be considered.
