Excelkent staff, room was clean and relatively spacious, view of pool and gardens was nice.
This isn't downtown Hong Kong, but it is much more relaxing. About three blocks walk to the MTR metro station that can get you anyolace in Hong Kong including the airport. Plenty of restaurants around. Close the the Cattle Depot Artists collectice which I really enjoyed. Right next to the Kai Tak Sports complex if thats your thing. Would definitely stay there again!

The rooms are not as big compared to what you see in the pictures but is good enough for a short stay. The room was clean enough and the staff are helpful and in a good location surrounded by eateries, shops and transportation.

Advertise as 4 star , definitely more like a two, maybe three star . Rooms are in rough shape , needs updating badly. Staff tried to upgrade room to a suite , which was appreciated , but furniture was still stained , old and uncomfortable .
When leaving with our luggage , I asked for the shuttle to the bus terminal that they offer, I was refused !! Being told I can walk because it's not to far . We had four suitcases !!

When we arrive, we weren’t sure it was that one we booked.
Corridor was noisy, we could hear people from the bed and see corridor light below room door.
Location it Kowloon wasn’t the great, MTR Station was a little far with 2 luggage and not the most touristic in Hong Kong

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't indulge in the pool so I cannot speak to that. The one thing that I didn't like was the breakfast. Most hotels offer complimentary breakfast, and HP 8 degrees had an attached cafe where breakfast was discounted for guests, but not complimentary.

Might not be appropriate for first time tourist. There's a shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui. The Deco is very mainland China small town. Specially the faucet was so difficult to control the temperature.

This was the most disgusting hotel we stayed at in Asia across 3 months. On our first day we discovered a huge clump of hair/pubic hair in the bath which was not draining, and they moved us to a different room. On our last day as we checked the room we found a used condom underneath the bed, which I actually touched. This is a huge health risk due to bodily fluids and infection risk, and will be reported to the relevant authorities. The hotel tried to deal with this with an apology only and a free one night stay, despite the fact we were checking out and told them right away that we will not return, which is an insult. Only Expedia managed to get us some money back. Never again.

We also found some of the staff very rude. The lifeguard shouted at a woman one day as she tried to avoid the ridiculously designed waterfall above the entry to the pool area. The staff member Phoebe on reception was also incredibly patronising, sarcastic and rude to me when I spoke to her one day, although when she found out I was a hotel guest she changed her attitude but the damage was already done.

We were in a studio room which is advertised with kitchen facilities, however there was not one cooking utensil, pan, plate or anything, which defeats the point.

The only staff member we thought was helpful was the assistant manager at reception, who tried her best but was let down by other staff.

Location is bad. It’s a residential area which is a 10 min walk to the nearest train station.

Staff are patient and helpful, immediately responded to our needs. Thanks for them to make our stay comfortable and convenient.

Just a short bench in the lobby and it's always occupied by guests. We have no place to sit and has to stand in the lobby while waiting for a car coming to pick us up to the airport. There should be some more sofas and bench for guests in the lobby.

This isn’t my first time staying at 8 degrees; it’s my 4th time. The room facilities are fairly dated to say. There aren’t enough plugs for modern day use which could be a problem. But overall, this is a solid choice for a hotel for the price, which I believe is good value. Despite what I mentioned earlier, everything is generally good enough for any length of stay in Hong Kong.

Check-in staff did not highlight that things such as tooth brush and paste, and comb, are not provided at the room. Even though the charges were very reasonable when I had to purchase some of these items the following morning, the excuse given for not providing items was ridiculous and added insult to injury for such inconvenience caused. Concierge staff are nice. Hotel promotion takes place periodically, suggest guest should confirm booking at very last moment for entitling better price and benefits, especially long staying guest. Unfortunately, we make booking in between promotion period and paid around hk $2000 more for one month, and without laundry coupons ,when comparing with other long staying guest at the same staying time.
I suggest sale office staff should advise to guest that hotel promotion may fall on their booking period.
