Surrounding areas are OK. It was strange that that the air conditioning and air purifier were turned on 24x7. We had issue with high humidity of the original room and the situation was not improved when we changed to a different one.

The customer services are terrible in the front desk on 1/18. My mom tested negative rapid test result but they charged us $1200 because she had a positive result from the day before. My mom has no symptoms at all. After a heated conversation, they were willing to return the money but a lady ended yelling at my mom “get your luggage now and leave” and kicked her out of the hotel. We lived in the United States and travel to many places and visit so hotel. This is by far the worse experience ever. The people at the front desk are disrespectful and racist.

I am given an almost the smallest room, as I need to stay 18 nights it's not a good idea so I asked to change. They give me another bigger room but after a few days, the air conditioner malfunctioned a high humid caused so much mould appears on the wall so needed to change another room, however, I am given a tiny one for the rest 10 nights again.

My room was facing inside, it was very quiet. Staffs were friendly; as we asked for refill coffee and tea bags, they brought them to our room in less than 30 minutes; our meals were delivered to the front desk, they were taken to our room in a few minutes. We stayed in this hotel for 14 days quarantine.

The size of room double size of other hotels I have been staying with and really comfortable. However, please pay attention to mugs and check if they were clean before putting coffee or tea. It is really good for business stay if you are visiting Kowloon Bay Area. It is very close to Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. Walkable to public transportation and Telferd Plaza.

Surprisingly good stay

We were very pleased with our accommodations. Perfectly clean, spacious and comfortable room. We chose this location because it was close to the cruise terminal. We arrived 2 days before our cruise began and were very comfortable walking around the neighborhood. We took the bus from the airport-easy to do and extremely reasonable. Wouldn’t recommend with too many suitcases. Get off the bus at Kitec and walk about four blocks. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. We used both Uber and taxis. Took a free walking tour of the city down near the clock tower. Very informative. Would stay here again. Huge Mega Box mall with supermarket within 4 blocks. Hong Kong is fabulous!

The first night was stuck with room 311 with a huge column in the middle of the room and it looked nothing like the photos online. I requested for a change of room for the remainder of my stay. Since they don’t have anything else available till later, I wasn’t able to swap until the 2nd night. It was SOO much better after the room swap, the room looked like the photos. Highly recommend this place for it’s spacious rooms and reasonable pricing!

The room is In good condition & clean. However, there is not enough hooks to hang our clothes as there is no wardrobe. Positioning of toilet roll holder is not desirable. Similarly, the makeup mirror is not in the right position rendering it not useful. Location is also quite far from MTR station.

A masterful conversion of a former factory make thermos bottles, etc. Not quite in the area we had hoped it would be nearer the cruise ship terminal. However, with our plane arriving in HK near midnight having the registration desk open for late arrivals and registration was a lifesaver. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel, the professed 'first hotel in Kowloon Bay', is located in the middle of an Industrial Estate. This is actually a positive thing, so long as you don't mind walking a little bit. The area is very quiet at nighttime, and the thick walls and effective curtains in the rooms will help you to get a great night's sleep. The beds are comfortable and the showers are really fantastic. The decor generally is sleek and modern. Rooms have (or at least mine did) a Nespresso coffee machine, with coffee and tea capsules replaced daily. The staff are very helpful, in my case accommodating a very substantial printing request and giving me a good rate for it (as well as recommending a nearby printing company where the service could be done more cheaply). The history of the hotel is very interesting - it is a repurposed vacuum flask factory. I think they have done a fanstastic job revitalising the site, and I personally love to see inventive reuse of buildings in this way. The prices are very reasonable for Hong Kong standards, and the size and quality of the rooms is better than many 4 star hotels in the city. Breakfast choices are very limited, but they are at least good quality. I think the attached restaurant is very reasonably priced, with good quality food and service. I actually went there several times, which I am normally reluctant to do for other hotel restaurants. There is an on-site gym which I did not try, but I did take a look at it, and it seems fine. Excellent!

The service is typical Chinese service. For a person who have lived in japan, the staffs come off as unfriendly and less concerned about the customers. But that is whole Hong Kong. The customer service just sucks in the whole of Hong Kong.

前台看到行李数量及人数，主动建议升级，升级后的房间非常惊喜！也的确符合我们的需要。
清洁阿姨很友善，卫生良好，房间舒适。
穿梭巴士很方便，要叫teksi可步行到后面的九龙湾国际展贸中心，也有看到巴士到临近的地铁站（这次没搭过）
一切都满意，不过隔壁cafe感觉有些贵。

Clean and Good Value Hotel

Our stay at Camlux was good. The location was not too close to the MTR station. However, the hotel had free shuttle service that will take you out to Jordan station. Alternatively, a shuttle bus from a close mall can take you to the Kowloon Bay MTR station.

The staff were nice and provided us with late check-out. Great value if you don’t mind the inconvenience of taking shuttle buses.

I was on a work trip and chose Camlux as it's the nearest hotel to where I had to be during this trip. Internet was the only downside. Slow, intermittent... and somehow the hotel network would not allow TLS when I needed to access FTP nor allow me access when I had ty connect to my corporate VPN.

The hotel is located in the middle of a neighborhood, so there is nothing to do near the hotel.
The MTR station is not comfortable as other place in HK.

Great Hotel - Tricky to find once off the subway

Had a family trip with two kids, 11&14. Hong Kong madness in 3 days. I love the city. I was looking for a nice place for the kids to stay at without being in a tiny cube and breaking the bank. The hotel did not dissapoint. The location is tricky,so I HIGHLY suggest you take a taxi to get there from the airport. Took A22 bus from airport to Kowloon Bay stop and getting on a taxi there was a nightmare. I had to force myself and kids into one. Not on would stop for us. I was told no and waived off. Uber driver could not find us. Hong Kong streets are NOT pedestrian friendly at all. After a day, we took the MTR everywhere. Hotel has shuttle to station but no pickup??? The Kowloon Bay MTR station is a maze which you have to learn to navigate through to get to the hotel. You will get it after a day or so, but not without help. Hotel is absolutely great. Beautiful, modern, and quiet. I think the hotel would greatly improve itself by providing a pickup & drop-off at the Kowloon Bay station and not Prince Edward.

Why include one free breakfast daily for a reservation for two? Breakfast wasn’t even appealing enough to want to pay for one.

Very close to metro, convention center and shops. Hotel staff was ready to help with any problem or question. I needed a phone charger and they brought one for me. The breakfast we prepaid for was ok but felt like it was lacking compared to other hotels. I would have rather ate out at some other place.

An good transformation, transport needs to improve

It’s used to be an industrial building manufactured vacuum flask. Like the idea they used their history as deco and introduced the now and then of the place.

The room is relatively small but well equipped, most importantly is clean.

Location might be a concern as in an industrial area, only a few the shuttle bus services from hotel to Prince Edward or Kowloon Station.
They don’t provide shuttle bus service to the closest station at Kowloon Bay, either by walk to there in 20mins or take the shuttle bus provided by Kitech where is few blocks away from the hotel with busy traffic.

Staffs are professional and helpful.
In general, we enjoyed the stay.

可能因為工業區內的馬路又長又直，半夜街上不斷有人如大賽車般飆車，多次被吵醒，到了清晨，對面傳來強勁的音樂聲，後來離開酒店時經過才知道是巴士廠的工作人員開大喇叭聽歌，外在問題沒法改變，但玻璃窗不隔音就是問題所在。此外，我們在年初一入住，晚上詢問才知道過年期間餐廳不營業沒早餐供應，工業區內沒任何食肆開店，向front desk員工請教可以去哪兒，對方沒什麼耐性地隨意回應說另一邊有商場，上網查看原來是Mega Box，幾乎都是11:00之後才開始的食肆。官網說距離九龍灣地鐵站步行10分鐘…. 才不是！我們走路很快，即使不計算等待交通燈的時間，也要15分鐘。要不是有獎賞補貼，真不會考慮入住幾乎1千元的酒店。不推薦。

清潔感がありスタッフも英語が通じてフレンドリーな方でとても良かったです。
アメニティもあったのでよかったです。
シャワーの水が少し下水のような臭いがしたのでそこが少し気になりました。
シャワーの水圧や温度は安定していました。
バス停まで少し歩く点と夜は人通りが少なかったです。

バスの路線によりますが、歩いて10分以下の場所にバスが停まります。地下鉄の駅からは歩いて15−20分ほどの距離です。荷物が多いならバス利用、買い物目当てなら地下鉄をオススメします。
私は英語も広東語もできませんが、ホテルスタッフは翻訳機を使ったり、日本語で対応してくれました。
寝る際に周りの部屋から音が響いてくる場合がありますが、私は気にならないレベルで済みました。疲れて寝るだけの人なら全く問題ないと思います。
近くのショッピングモールは歩いて10分ほどなので、買い物や食事で困ることはないと思います。良いところです。
中心地や中環からは少し遠いので、その辺行く方やマカオ、ディズニーに行く方は不便かもしれません。
