The breakfast was a highlight. The two men managing it were excellent. They remembered our tea and coffee orders each morning. Good variety that changed daily.

Although we didn't require housekeeping, they were very diligent and checked with us every day to make sure we didn't need anything.

The staff is wonderful the amenities are good, a law passed a few years ago does not allow for free disposable items such as bottled water. You can buy it. Th hotel is squeezed in between parking garages and industrial. There are shops and food nearby but it is mixed between industrial.

Great Dorsett Kwun Tong Hotel

Great Hotel. Very convenient and located near to MTR. Has a gym and swimming pool. Coffee tea making facilities, air filter, dehumidifier, and tv. The shower is hot and comfortable to shower in and the cleaners clean the room up nicely every day. Can buy toothpaste for reasonable price inside the hotel. Very quiet at all times of the day and very nice view if on a high floor. I definitely will come back to this hotel next time.

All the staff were very polite and go over and above to make sure the stay felt as much like home as possible. We were short a suitcase and needed to do a makeshift piece of luggage. We needed some cardboard and tape. The hotel could have easily told us they didn’t have any, but instead, they went and tried their best to accommodate. Will recommend for anyone looking for great value and convenience to everything you may or may not need in the area!

This hotel is very clean with comfortable beds, the staffs are very friendly and helpful. There is no airport shuttle bus, you can take MTR with a fair bit walk to the mtr station. We enjoyed our stay at Dorsett KT, will come again.

We enjoyed our stay at Dorsett KT, our room is very clean, beds are comfortable, shower has strong water, and the gym is functional. The hotel staffs and clean ladies are very helpful and friendly. One area can improve is the lift security by adding hotel key card to access each hotel floor.

Good budgeted Hotel

Hotel is located in an old industrial area in Kwun Tong. Walking distance to MTR station is around 12 to 15 Mins depends on how much luggage you have and what period of time you are arriving (Kwun Tong is an old and crowded area especially during working hours)
Check-in was smooth and staff was friendly.
Room is a little bit small and you can easily tell it has some signs of aging. However, it is still considered as clean and tidy. Hotel provides air purifier and dehumidifier which is definitely a plus for those who live in a relatively less humid countries.
Bed and sheets were clean and you have 2 different types of pillows at your choices.
I would suggest if hotel can provide some bottles of water or some snacks in the room for guest as the convinent store is not that close by.
If a shuttle bus can pick up and drop off at APM, then it will be phenomenal.
I would for sure stay again if those options were threw in without raising too much on the price.

Super convenient if you need to do anything on this side of town of Hong Kong, nice CBD views and some water from higher floor and subway is not too far walk away. I appreciated easy Hong Kong eats and some outlet shopping in hidden road closer to busier part of Kwun Tong as well. A bit more quieter hotel to rest in away from the heavy bustle of HK.

Stay for one night for transitting. Room is with decent space and bed is comfy, TV offers many channels to select but large majority of them are in Chinese. The door doesn't seal the noise effectively as you can hear every conversation happening in the corridor. Some hair left in shower place as well.

Hotel beside it doesn't have good food. Chinese restaurant in hotel is expensive and food is average. On weekends difficult to get taxi must walk a distance to APM. Rooms acceptable but no toiletries at all. Water machine outside need to get container first before you can get water. The hotel should have container for you to fill water like Regal

This is my second time staying at Dorsett Kwun Tong. Due to Hong Kong rules, hotels are no longer allowed to provide bottled water, toothbrushes, and other similar amenities. Dorsett provides water stations by the elevators on every floor. Just didn't forget to bring your card key with you. Kwun Tong as a neighborhood is best described as up-and-coming. It is a trek to the island, or to TST, and don't even try to get to/from the airport if you don't know your buses. Especially the area nearby the hotel is a mix of light industrial and commercial, with very few residential. There are plenty of places to eat and shop, and the MTR is less than 10 minutes away, but be prepared for the crowds and the many people working blue collared jobs making a living in the area. The property is nice and clean, and the rooms sufficiently spacious. The only negative is the lack of plugs near the bedside. The plugs and chargers are at the desk, which is sufficient, but not convenient. In my room, the only bedside plug was taken up by the dehumidifier, which I promptly moved away so that I can have my phone charging next to me at night. But once plug is better than nothing

First thing i wanted to do after a long flight was to take a shower at the hotel. The toilet was clogged even without using it and the drainage for the shower was flooding, the water level was up to my ankles which was disgusting. I had to request the reception to have someone fix it multiple times, not sure if they understood my request but after asking the third time asking it got fixed.
