Staff was great. Room was big and clean. Daily room cleaning. Nice pool area with bar. Morning buffet was ok and decent price. Located on busy road with small to no sidewalks. Great location for beach and businesses. Far enough away from party town to excape tye music.

Unfriendly hotel with no hospitality sense

This is one of the most unfriendly properties in Thailand i have stayed. Thailand, known for its hospitality is completely defeated by the staff here! They dont even greet you with a Hello, forget about doing a Namaste. They charge you 3% for payments on any kind of cards (but written credit card) and they insist on paying cash. Breakfast was excluded despite booking says otherwise. It was included after insistence! The guy at the reception is utterly disgraceful!
Breakfast doesn't offer anything for vegetarian, so you would anyway regret starting a day uneventful!
The only good part is its proximity to Patong downtown and beach.
Not at all recommended.

Really nice outdoor space, restaurant pool and bar, with lots of shaded area around pool, which personally i like.
Room was upgraded on arrival to pool and partial sea views, which was nice.
Staff really friendly, especially at the poolside bar.
Location was good for me, away from the noise but 1 minute from beach.
Only negative was the condition of room, but overall good value hotel.

Good but pay attention.

The hotel is well located, with restaurants, convenience store and laundry mats nearby, room is clean, the bed if very comfortable but don't get fooled with the \"sea view\" room option. We booked a Premium Room with Sea View, at the time of check in we got informed that there's no sea view at this hotel and they tried to give us a smaller room, after our complaints, they finally \"found\" a new room for us, which it was the premium room we had booked, but with barely sea view, since the hotel is not beach front. Also, the hotel is really strict and if you have any friends visiting you, be ready to pay 800 Bahts just to let them go upstairs for a couple minutes and also 1.000 baths in cash is required as secure deposit.

Location is excellent ! 10 mins walk from the pier to the left, phi phi is a walking island and this hotel is easily a 15 mins walk to the nightlife area,its located on the much peaceful side of the island.
Staff is helpful, wifi wasn’t working during our stay, sheets and room are basic and clean, toilet definitely needs improvement.

The location was great-close to the beach, short taxi to night life. We booked massages at the hotel and those were amazing. The breakfast could have been a lot better. We had friends in Phuket and all went out and when we tried to bring them back to our room the hotel wanted to call the police. We literally felt like we were in high school. They watched everything we did.... there was a small makeup stain on the comforter and they told us we had to take it to a laundry mat and wash it ourselves. I would not stay here again. I would definitely go to the Hyatt next door where things like this would never happen.

We went to another hotel after being at Baramee for 2 nights and went back to the staff apologizing for trying to leave and proclaiming our live for them, we will always book at Baramee! The pool is our favorite part- even though it is a 2 minute walk to the beach (sometimes you need chlorine and grass instead of sand and salt- it’s balance, people).

Budget conscious with prime position

Baramee Resorttel comes with many extra's, Courteous and helpful staff being the big one. Position puts it outside the party zone but only a short walk to the beach with a hotel loan towel or a free included return shuttlebus ride into the business district everyday. We found Baramee to be the nicest, cleanest, friendliest hotel we stayed in, in this budget category. Bearing in mind all are older than their photo's, Baramee is full functioning and still neat & presentable :)

i can give 5/5 rating...

i stayed in Baramee in 5 nights... What a wonderful property. First the location is incredible....easy walking distance to most of the major sites... good service , nice receiving, breakfast is fresh and tasty.
they are providing shuttle service for multiple times etc. they are very good in monitor who are coming and going... they wont allow anyone upto our room with our acceptance... finally its great and i enjoyed with it..

For the price this hotel charges its not even close to standard. Upon arrival I was told by some rather unfriendly staff I had been upgraded. I had booked for two people and was upgraded to a room with two single beds when I had booked a king size bed. The hotel itself is pretty old and needs refurbishment. The front desk staff were hopeless and not friendly at all. We went to get a drink at the bar only to find all the staff there were already drinking and very drunk one of the bar tenders was telling my wife she is very pretty but don't smile cause she has braces and that doesn't look good. Other people sat down ordered food waited 20 mins only to then be told there is no food because the chef didn't turn up..... The only plus for this place was the cleaning staff who were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for an overpriced comedy I would stay here if not there are much better options for the same or better price available. All in all this hotel is a JOKE!

A minute walk from Patong Beach.

All was perfectly fine with the hotel. The rooms, the staff, Wi-Fi, breakfast and also the rate for the rooms provided.
The only small glitch I found that it was a bit far off from the market. Though, the hotel provides free shuttles but those are only in noon and not in evening/night. It takes 10-15 mins walk. Though I feel the area is pretty much happening while taking a stroll. So many might not find an issue with that.
But, it's just a minute walk from Patong Beach which is definitely a plus.

HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE STAYING @ THIS HOTEL. STAFFS ARE FRIENDLY,SOME OF THE STAFFS CAN EVEN SPEAK MALAY. SO ITS KINDA EASY FOR US TO COMMUNICATE.

My wife and I stayed two nights at Baramme Resortel as it was convenient to Patong Beach. The rent mopeds for 200 baht so I would recommend that if you want to get around pretty easy. It's only a 3 min walk to the beach. The hotel rooms are nice with cold A/C and wifi but WiFi was extremely weak from top floor so we couldn't even use it. The bathrooms were very nice. The bed is hard like most of Thailand beds. Breakfast needs some attention but it'll do the job.

Ok hotel but evening staffs lack of services

The rooms are spacious. The only issue I have is that their evening staff doesn't speak much English. I arrived at 2am in the morning and had a call at 4am so I've called the reception to ask how i dial the local number, he put me on hold for like 5 mins, and then hang up. I've to dial in again and in bad english say I've to go to the reception to dial the number as the room phone just connects to the reception and doesn't allow the customer to make local or international call

A very greatful traveler who needed time out.

I would recomment the hotel to anyone who wants a quiet peaceful holiday away from the hussle and crowded streets of Patong. You are only 10 to 15 minutes walk away from the action and shopping but you feel relaxed. The hotel has a shuttle that will take you into town up untill around 5pm each day. Or you can brave it and hire a Zipper (Scooter) as I did and live ib fear for the first couple of days until you work out the flow and just go with it and I have been riding big bikes for 35 years.
The staff is what made the stay special for me as a solo traveler from the first minute at reception I was treated like a special guest. The Waiters like Patrick showed an intrest in you and made it feel easy. The cleaning staff where very proffecional in their duties. The pool and bar staff where just fantastic and helpful in every way.
I honestly carn't say a bad word about the Baramee Resortel. I stayed 24 nights and will be staying there again in a couple of months for another 25 days. It is cheep but I was very surprised by the hotel and it's location to the northern end of Patong Beach only 4 minutes. Easy access to coveniance stores 7/11 and Family Mart just across the street.
You can get your laundry done throught reception just speak to May one of the staff on the front desk.
All in all a fantastic place due to the location and staff.

What you see is what you get

The hotel was everything in the photos and the trip advisor comments helped us alot. The service was outstanding and really enhanced our visit. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff were very attentive to our needs. Its a five minute walk to the beach, but at least 25min walk into town or a 10min tuk tuk ride which would cost around $6aud each time. It is a quiet area so you don't hear any noise at night as its out of the area of nightclubs. The staff really go out of their way to make sure you are happy with everything and the meals at the restaurant are very good. The only negative comments is I found the bed too firm and you need t pay for the wireless internet which is on the expensive side.

It's the Baramee for me

The Baramee Resortel is a lovely place to base your holiday in Phuket. Patong is a lively town and has numerous tourism opportunities and things to see. The hotel itself has a nice quiet hotel which is good for shady morning swims or sun bathing in the afternoon swim. The breakfast was bad but the evening food is delicious - and, just around the corner is a small place which is nice for breakfast.
The staff are friendly and helpful and always greet you with a smile.

This hotel is close to beach and easy walking distance to Jungceylon Shopping Centre (15 - 20 min walk), but that is where the positives ended for my partner and I.

Photos appearing on TripAdvisor and else where must have been taken some time ago (and be of deluxe rooms only) because the room we stayed in could only kindly be described as 'shabby'.

The resortel is fairly quiet at night, but you will hear everyone and everything (especially the cleaning staff banging and dragging things around) at silly o'clock in the morning. The hotel/motel is also currently surrounded by construction on most sides.

The included breakfast is an extremely average affair compared to the hospitality we have experienced elsewhere in Phuket and Bangkok in similarly priced hotels, and after the first day we did not bother again.

Everything costs extra from overpriced Wifi to guest service phone calls, and our room was already occupied by large (well-fed) mosquitoes when we arrived; and despite chasing them out daily, they were back to roost every night.

With the large amount of accommodation available in Patong, I am certain you can do better for the price elsewhere, and would strongly recommend that you consider other options.

Free breakfast is great. Staff is pretty friendly. Didn't get a wake up call when I asked for one. You usually have the pool to yourself which is nice. Close walk to Patong and the nightlife areas. Right across the street from a 7/11 with an ATM. King bed was great and the bathroom was spacious. Internet is 80 Baht for 30 min.

it was our first time to phuket

it was our first time to phuket and had no idea what to expect. but we were quite delighted with our hotel. located at patong beach, it's small but charming. has a great lap pool and was nicely interiored. the staff were very nice and attentive. the beach is just a short 5 minute walk (we're practically on beach road aka thaweewong rd.- that's the main road where patong beach is)).
the down side is that it's a good walk from where the action is (about a 25 min. walk to bangla street- that's where all the bars are and where all the good resorts with beach fronts are).
otherwise, we would so recommend this hotel. it's VERY reasonable and pretty. :D
fyi: you'll need a cab to get around the whole of phuket (it's a pretty big place) get in touch with boy-taxi driver. he'll give you a good price. 0899085981

Baramee resortel is exactly what I was after when I arrived in Phuket.

It was close enough to the main road and nightlife that it was only a short walk or cheap tuk tuk ride away but quiet enough so that you can rest properly and get away from all the hustle and bustle.

The hotel is clean and everyday we had great housekeeping. The staff were friendly, helpful and most of them had really good english which was fantastic for me as I didn't speak any thai.

The international breakfast buffet was good and I usually need need lunch after.

There were 3 shuttles daily into town which was so great for me and they do arranged pick ups as well.

I would only advise that you get massages, internet and tickets to shows/tours not from the hotel as it is more expensive than on the main road. Also on the last day if you can don't book your taxi ride to the airport from the hotel but just hail a taxi from the main street as it is not hard to get one and for only 500 baht (negotiable) to the airport. But other than this is a great place to stay and I really enjoyed my time. I will definitely stay there again if I go back to Phuket.

Overall I liked the hotel. The staff was friendly, there was a free breakfast buffet, and it was really clean. It is within 2-3 blocks of the beach and on the north end of Patong beach, so its a little more quiet and relaxed than the center of Patong. It is still pretty close to the main shopping area and night activities. The hotel has a free shuttle service that will take you to the major shopping area. The shuttle runs until about 5pm or so, so we took the shuttle to the shopping area and shopped/walked back home. I was satisfied with the stay, the only bad thing was that my room had a hint of old smoke, but my friend's room did not.

La piscine était très bien, car la plage n'était pas loin mais trop de vagues et pas très propre à cause des plastiques.

Redelijk verouderde kamer, airco werkte niet maar werd vriendelijk en snel opgelost.
Spa is niet meer aanwezig in het hotel, staat echter wel aangegeven in de omschrijving.
Locatie is aan een drukke straat maar hier krijg je op de kamers niet van mee.
Verder een locatie iets verder gelegen van het centrum, daarom iets rustiger maar op 15min lopen ben je in hartje centrum.

Kleines, aber feines, zentral gelegenes Hotel. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wenn machbar, wird jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Sauberes, gepflegtes Zimmer. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde gerade das bisher einfache Frühstück überarbeitet und in der Sortiments Auswahl erweitert. Somit hat dieses Hotel ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir werden es gerne wieder in Anspruch nehmen, da wir uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt haben.

거리가 정실론에서 멀긴하지만 하루에 5번 셔틀버스를 무료로 운행하고있어서 잘 이용하고왔습니다! 숙소도 생각했던것보다 넓고 깨끗해서 맘에 들었네요..수영장은 조금하긴하지만 할만하데 수심이 깊은편이라 아이들은 수영하기 힘들것같네요!
전반적으로 맘에 드는편이었구요 조식은 가지수가 별로없어 그냥 요기때우는정도~ 가격대비 숙소상태는 아주 양호하다고 생각되네요~~

自分は使いませんでしたがペイバーは500バーツでした。
朝食はパン・サラダ・フルーツ等以外にメニューから選べます。バイキングの日もありました。
プールは２Fにあります。
ビーチに出る時用にタオルを貸してくれます。ビーチサンダル備わっていたかちょっと忘れました。
セーフティーボックスは受付横にあります。
スタッフはフレンドリーでした。

朝ごはんの美味しいところでした

プールがついているリーズナブルなホテルだったので利用しましたが、思っていた以上のサービスでした。特に朝食は美味しくて良かった。パトンビーチの端っこのホテルですが、ジャンクセーロンまでのバスも出てて遊びに行くのに便利です。
どこに行くにも道路を渡らければならないんですが、結構な交通量なので渡るのは大変です。慣れてくればささっと渡れるんですが、最初はなかなか渡れなかったです。

C'est la deuxième fois que je viens dans cet hôtel sans prétention mais proche de la plage et loin de la folie de Bangla Road (animation toute la nuit avec un bruit assourdissant où les filles se déhanche pour attirer le chaland sur des musiques électro et orchestres hard rock à110 db, pas fait pour les enfants ou personnes pieuses) avec toutes les commodités, la piscine est petite mais suffisante pour se rafraichir. Wifi gratuit dans les chambres aussi.
