Good location if you wanted to go shopping. If not the metro is about a 5 minute walk. There is a restaurant across the street that closes quite late for those who like eating later in the night. What I didn't like about the hotel was that the hallway on our floor had an unpleasant smell, the windows in the room are tinted green, and the shower sometimes goes colder for a few seconds but for the price I can't complain too much.

Staff was excellent and helpful with answering all of our questions. This hotel is close to a train station and is 1 station away from Luohu shopping center. Unfortunately during our stay this train station was closed for maintenance. Cost for taxi to Luohu train station was around 10-20 RMB. Many restaurants and convenient stores in walking distance.

Peter loved the Kai Li Hotel!

The hotel room was amazing. We had a king bed in a large and quite room. The hotel is right next to Guomao metro station which is connected to a large mall.
There are abundant food choices everywhere around this hotel.
The room, the hotel and the location exceeded my expectations!

Upon check in, the receptionist asked me to pay RMB 1200 in CASH or via credit card. I told them I did not have so much cash in hand and i offered to pay via ALIPAY or WECHAT Pay but they insisted otherwise. Took me to flare up at their main hall before they were even willing to give me the breakdown of room charges and deposit. It amounted only to RMB 1072 instead of 1200!!!! And actually, only the deposit of 300 needed to be paid in cash, the rest could of course be settled with either Wechat or Alipay which is what I have been paying with in every other hotel I stayed in in CHina.

Staff need to upgraded their self in communicate language as most of the staff cannot speak English. Hotel also must provide food for Muslim customer. Other than that, room clean, tidy, nice, near with MTR and Mall. Strategic location and value for money.

The overall condition is okay, but the staff are too rude. Also, they do not provide buffet breakfast, only a set meal is provided. The hotel is located quite near to a metro station (about 4-min walk to Guomao station). Wifi is okay, but do note that you cannot use Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, etc. (which are blocked in China). You can either use a VPN or get a SIM card which allows access to these websites.

Always stay in this hotel when I get back SZ. It’s location is perfect to all commute and eat. Spa and massage center is downstairs. Pretty big and clean. And room rate is very affordable

Having Spa attachments is a great bonus. Subway is close, breakfast is ok, not a huge range but tasty and fast.

The air condition should be changed to \"individually control\" and one of the front desk staff service attitude can help the hotel if more approachable on eve little matter such as providing small change for guest. Also lots of web sites cannot be reached.

Very good , well run hotel. All staff friendly and helpful. Good location. Shopping mall next door leads to the subway. Small 711s just over the road and easy availability of taxis just on the road outside. Just 2 stops to Lo Wu to cross into Hong Kong.

Great location

Fantastic location, close to metro station and right opposite a big mall (lots of good food and shops). The room was clean and quiet. However, we booked a room with breakfast not knowing that breakfast is served from 7:30 and we had to leave before that so we didn’t manage to use the breakfast ticket.

Absolutely fine. Staff were pleasant, room was clean and fair, condition of the hotel is not bad. The surrounding area is the \"old\" part of Shenzhen but you're close to cafes, bars, clubs, shopping malls and the HK border.

Only book this hotel if you DO NOT NEED WIFI!!!

Nice hotel but the lousy unstable wifi spoils the whole experience. This is my usual hotel whenever I travel to Shenzhen but with the recent lousy wifi experience, I will skip this hotel in the future. Recommended for those who do not need wifi connection at all else avoid this hotel at all costs.

Once you walk approaching the hotel, you'll meet with what you can think about for spending a couple of nights in this city. Restaurants providing all global cuisines, fashion boutiques for all leading foreign brands, even an eye-catching pub is just steps around. So where else to stay!

There was a musty smell when coming back to room. I aired out room for first couple of nights. Then requested another room. The night staff somehow framed it that I was at fault for not saying something before. I changed rooms the next day. I noticed I had a cough and attribute it to to the room. The rooms are old and you can see cracked caulking where there has been no maintenance.

Considering this hotel should have been mainly non smoking I am afraid that's wrong as I went down to the very small restaurant in the mornings for breakfast people especially the Chinese were smoking ,I even got into the lift and someone had been smoking in there.
Came back to the hotel ne night and someone was sat on the loungers in the lobby throwing up into a waste paper basket no one did anything about this which is not on, he was drunk.
As this is a hotel that expedia advertise, to be honest I would seriously consider dropping it .
I know it is china but the breakfast did not leave much to the imagination 3 steel warmers and apart from a coffee a dry fried egg and 2 sausage that was about it for my breakfast ,wish I had not paid the extra as I would have found somewhere else and gladly paid for a decent breakfast.
The room was cleaned every day and the cleaning staff were friendly.

Great location, next to jin guang hua shopping mall, soho club and Guo Mao MRT; all within 5mins walk.
It has to be noted that google map dis not locate this hotel correctly, therefore it is preferred that baidu maps or using local physical map to locate this hotel.
The hotel is also joined with the Gold Coast Spa which is having such flashy signboard that you simply cannot miss.
having said so, the spa does provide a good 20% discount for Kaili hotel stayers ;) do check with the inhouse spa.

The room and in-rooms facilities are good, clean and pretty new... with complimentary basic toiletries and bottled waters.

The surrounding are great with plenty of eateries and shopping within 5 to 10 mins walk.

Overall a great hotel with good surrounding at an affordable rate... will want to stay here again the next time when i visit Shenzhen luohu area.

Location of the hotel is super. Lots of eateries around. Kingglory shopping mall is just opposite, and it leads to Guomao subway station. Dongmen pedestrian street is just a 10 minutes away.

Hotel provides free shuttle to Luohu where you can easily take MTR to Hong Kong for a day trip.

Hotel room is cosy and size is just right. Bathroom is nice, with glass sliding door shower room. It doesn't wet the floor on the outside after a shower and drainage is good.

Will stay at this hotel again.

Hotel room was comfortable.....

Overall is still ok....and 1 of the room was upgraded...but the room wifi was very bad though is free but cannot access to internet at all or keep loading...not moving at all...
The reception service was not very friendly at times.
The bell boy service from Jack was good....he makes sure things get done and advise correctly. Thanks for the effort.

Very close to the metro one block . King Glory shopping plaza next door good food outlets in the basement, 7 11 across the road. Rooms very large, walk in shower. Staff speak moderate english, one subway stop from lou ho and doing men st a short taxi ride (10 rmb) away. Wifi quick and free, overall a good hotel and close to all facilities.

I travel via Shenzhen to Hong Kong and this is a conveniently placed hotel, just a short distance from GaoMao metro station, it makes the long trip to Hong Kong easier and much cheaper to stay one night in Shenzhen. The desk staff speak good English and the facilities are all OK.

Very Nice Hotel. Room Was Clean. Come Back At Night, Bed Was Turn Down, Slippers Next To Bed. I Do Not Speak Chinese, But Staff Always Took Care Of My Needs. Food At Hotel Very Good And Price Is Good. Laundry Was Inexpensive, Each Piece Wrapped Separately, I Would Go Back To This Hotel.

The hotel is very old with low ceilings and old decor,the staff speak very little English except for the doorman who will try to sell you any thing you want,must be on commission from everyone in the area
