I have stayed in wonderful hotels all over the world and can honestly say that this hotel stands head and shoulders above anything I have experienced (Not just the fact that it is the 3rd highest hotel in the world).
The staff are amazing. They greeted me by name everywhere I went. Attentive and caring!
The architectural details and artistic flair are beyond compare.
The views are nothing short of extraordinary.

Amazing views and great rooms! Restaurants shut early before 9.3O so went hungry! Bar is nice with similar great views but limited food!
The bar on the 100th floor is shut though?
Also strange but very limited English spoken by staff which is not my previous experience on staying at St Regis hotels in Asia!

Would be better if the design is more thoughtful eg there is no full length mirror in the room, the bathroom light could not be switched on if the “master” light switch is off (had to turn on the “master” when one of us had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the light), and the video screen in the 100/F lounge was too bright.

Absolutely the finest 5-Star hotel in Shenzhen! Outstanding staff, with an impeccable butler service. Don't miss the scrumptious morning, and evening buffet. So many international dishes, which are prepared with the highest of standards!
Access to the metro is a snap, and it is beneath the King Key building. One never has to go outside to ride the system.
This is my only choice of properties when my travels bring me to Shenzhen!

Pros and cons:
Pros: In general , most of the staff are friendly, especially Concierge staff are very friendly, provide a lot of local information. Room is reasonable big, and a big shopping mall is connected to the hotel.
Cons: When I and my wife went to the bar at 100th floor around 8:30pm on 21/Sep/2019, we requested to see the environment of the bar before we decide whether it suitable to us. The waitress told us a quick looking is not allowed as we might cause inconvenience to other guests. What is the hell? we were not asking to view any private dinning room, we just need to stand at the bar entrance so we will have an idea the environment of the bar, but our request was just declined by the waitress. This is the first time that I was treated like that in a luxury hotel; The decoration of the hotel room is a little old, but not very prominent.

Do not recommend

I found a cotton bud lying on the floor, which definitely does not belong to me. It was so hard to miss out that it makes concerns about the whole cleanliness so I had to try to touch their towels and sheets as little as possible. And the overall experience was bad starting from check-in as in the staff welcomed me with a poker face. The decor and the location is up to the St Regis standard, but the service is miles away from the expectations.

Great Place to Have a Birthday!

Just a great hotel with impeccable service. Wonderful marble floors in the rooms, fantastic dining experience (buffet). Views that are unbeatable. Service personnel everywhere to guide, call elevator, assist on the phone, etc. Took my birthday off my Passport and sent us a cake! There was a fire exercise going on the second day and we heard alarms and called. They sent some sweets and an apology to the room! They really want you to come back.

A truly superb hotel experience. The St Regis sets the standard in Shenzhen. It is easily as nice as the Shangri-la or the Four Seasons yet not nearly as expensive. The soaking tubs big enough for two with beautiful views of the city are a particular highlight.

The hotel is fantastic as is the staff. Only drawback is check in is in the 96 floor and then you take an elevator down to your room. Every trip outside requires two elevators. Connected to KK Mall with great good and good shopping. Highly recommend the hotel, the rooms are fantastic and so is the staff. One of the best ever for me.

Definitely Worth a Stay!

Here for a business trip. And I have to say the hotel did exceed my expectations in terms of its service throughout my duration of stay. Room on the 83rd storey had a good view of the entire Shenzhen, which was definitely breathtaking. Not only that, one could even catch the view from the bathroom. Most memorable feature of the room was the Spa Mode in the toilet which automatically dims the lights and turns on the classical music, allowing one to have a good relaxing soak in the bath tub at the end of the day. Conveniently located just above the Grand Theatre station (via the KK Mall exit) if you are taking the subway from the Lo Wu station. The St Regis Bar on the 96th floor is a good venue for casual business meetings too, but do make reservations beforehand if need be as I almost couldn't get a table prior to my meeting due to the lack of available tables in the late afternoon. Overall a very nice stay, and I will definitely be back again on my next trip to Shenzhen.

I am kind of mystified by the extremely high ratings for this hotel. Summarizing--the pricing is high even vs local premium market but the combination of hotel and staff didn't deliver on rest and relaxation.

This is a truly incredible space, in the top 20 floors of a 100-story building. High ceilings, dramatic views, hip venues for food and drink, and good food. The staff were really conscientious and helpful, but not well organized and generally weak in the English language department vs other local premium hotels. They gave me a free room upgrade, but the upgraded room smelled strongly of organic solvent, so I asked for a different room. This required about 40 minutes of not taking a shower and a couple trips to the lobby. I could not get any of the phone handsets to work; the speakerphones work fine. They downgraded me again and the new room solved the smell problem. The smaller new room was still huge, with astonishing views from the 85th floor. The decorating is well done but it's kind of sterile for my taste; the bed and the air were comfortable, so no problems here. I ordered a steak for dinner, which cost about just about two days' gross pay for one of my local engineers--extremely pricey. I asked for it medium but it arrived rare. The staff gave me a little static about this when I asked for them to re-fire it; this took a couple of phone calls because the English was a little more complex. Nothing awful, but not really a premium experience.

I've been warned about staff's in China can be terrible, until I encountered a very rude female receptionist, she basically refused to help me... I'm about to depart to Japan and stay in an Onsen resort town, so I need to exchange currency, unfortunately the bank was closed. So I talk to her in order to find out information, she pretends to called and got information, but when I figured out, she was lying, I told her I'll figure something out myself, she start attacking me have harder, saying if you stay in a 5 star hotel later they'll do this for you... how long have you not stay in a good hotel?! Etc... Needless to say, all the good memories of the hotel was gone in an instant.
It's already bad that their food sucks, their staff's are so useless too.

World class luxury hotel, perfect in all aspects

World-class hotel! Impeccable interior & design. Lobby is located on level 96 & hotel rooms start from level 76 onwards. Great breakfast and amenity, meminds me of the time at Ritz Carlton in HK, but at a much more reasonable price. Hotel location is superb, with a great shopping mall right underneath it. As my room as the basic one w/o b/fast, upon check-in, I was offered to pay an extra RMB480 for a room upgrade, 1 b/fast and 1 day wifi (which would otherwise cost RMB100), and the room was really grand and huge with panoramic city view. Overall, top-notch world-class hotel, will definitely recommend to friends visiting Shenzhen.

Beautiful hotel. The only frustrating part of my stay was what felt like unnecessary additional charges when the room itself is already almost $300/night. For example: it clearly states \"with Wifi\" in the room description. Yes, they do have Wifi in the rooms, but it turns out that it costs 100 RMB a day to use. Putting it in the room description, then, is similar to saying \"King bed\" and then giving you a double bed and saying \"well, you CAN have a King Bed- it just costs an additional 50RMB.\" It doesn't make sense. There was also a 200 RMB charge if we wanted an additional roll away bed in the room.

I do understand that many people that stay at this hotel (okay, most people) are very well off financially and that these additional unexpected charges mean nothing in the grand scheme of their budget.

I am a teacher, who planned a special one night getaway for me and 2 of my teacher friends to stay at the most expensive hotel any of us have ever stayed in- so these charges were disappointing to me.

Tall building does not excuse poor food and servic

Beautifully appointed hotel spoilt by poor food and service. Maybe it is a sign of good service in some places, but you could not literally walk out of a lift without being asked where you were going. We were also charged an extra room night cost for checking in early and leaving our bags in the room - this was not made clear at check-in. The hotel represents a novelty being the 12th tallest building in the world, but for 3 days it felt like a tall prison to us. Plenty of other choices in Shezhen that will be better I'm sure.

We came over from the HK side and the hotel was only 10 mins away on a cab. It is located on the top of the KK100 and we wanted to try out for the night view. The city didnt have much to offer to my disappointment. But the room was spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant upstairs offered italian dishes. Food was soso.

不是第一次入住Regis，原本也很期待深圳這家，但這次入住體驗是非常失望！！若以這酒店品牌的服務水平來說，深圳St. Regis完全說不上他們一貫的水平。完全感受不到他們的優質服務接待客人。
首先辦理入住時，前台人員態度冷酷，第一句不是說歡迎你好基本問候，而是直接問你是不是入住。沒表情沒沒笑容，而且不會主動完會講解入住酒店基本資訊，例如：退房時間、吃早餐時間、在什麼樓層吃早餐等…要我問一句入答一句。甚至他們引以為傲的管家服務，前台的他都沒有解釋介紹如何聯繫，只是簡單說一句：「掃這個二維碼就可以聯絡到。」原來這就是所謂的優質服務呀！
反而在大堂接待的女士很熱情，辦理入住手續後主動帶我們乘坐電梯上客房，簡單介紹了一下。

第一次是入住印度孟買的St. Regis, 那次體驗實在令人難以忘懷，所有服務都十分體貼入微！所以對今次深圳入住本來很有期待的，但為何會有這麼天淵之別！？實在感到非常之失望！

Quite a bit below my high expectation

I have been having a high expectation in St.Regis Hotel but I guess it was quite a disappointing experience to me. The place was indeed having a magnificent views from both room and lobby, which food there taste good too. However, there are few things that need to concern before booking:
1.) you need to queue for breakfast for around 15 minutes.
2.) My room are having cigrattes smell which might be from other room through the venting system. Calling reception only giving me an air purification machine in the room.
3.) Swimming pool have no swim cap available to borrow.

有點失望

櫃檯男服務員他說幫我們提昇了房間不收費用，上房後發覺我原本訂的房間50坪還小，有點失實, 因為趕著外出沒有查詢問題。餐廳及酒吧服務員服務態度有些很好但有些服務態度不佳。但反而留下地面的服務員及櫃檯查詢服務員服務態度非常專業及禮貌。
早幾年曾經入住橫琴瑞吉酒店，服務態度相當優越，相比深圳瑞吉有極大的分別，所以有點失望。希望以後有所改善。

第一次入住深圳瑞吉酒店，地點方便，周邊環境配套都好好，有好多食店在附近。酒店裏面，房間非常舒適，床又大又舒服，各服務員的態度都好親切，所有需要的他們都盡力辦到。尤其在96樓大堂的服務員Alice Chen, 她親切有禮的笑容和態度，令我們一家在一入到酒店大堂已經有很安心的感覺👍👍。我們一定會再次入住。
