This hotel is quite deceiving. The grounds, entrance, pool and restaurant are amazing! If you decide to stay there, unfortunately the rooms and service for room accommodations are less than optimal and really is a scam for the rates they charged. The rooms smelled like mold, there was mold on the ceiling, and had to change rooms twice to get something comfortable enough for myself and little child. There were dead bugs in the room and stays on the table. The air conditioning didn’t work for my entire stay. It stayed at 24 degrees even after 2 technicians were sent to the room. Save your money. Stay somewhere else and visit the restaurant for a great evening ambiance

Fantastic hotel with amazing facilities and spectacular views! Breakfast was fantastic - one of the best breakfast buffets we have had! Has access to four different restaurants on site, which have different themes. Room service also was great when we used it.

Great rooms, well decorated, all with an amzing bath area (walk-in shower for us), large smart TV, excellent wifi and a safe and fridge plus a veranda overlookimg the sea!!!

Best features was the amazing pool and pool side bar which had fantastic African/Senegalese themed entertainment almost daily, but especially weekends. Also, there is a shopping mall connected to the hotel which has everything you can ask for including a grocery store, pharmacy, cinema and restaurants.

The spa was also fantastic with a sauna, steam room and hydropool as well as has a well-stocked gym free for guest use.

Service was fantastic. Majority of staff, especially the breakfast buffet staff (shout out to Marie Noel and Mami), Pool Bar staff (Ndongo and the waiters), the concierge (Mami) and the reception staff (Binta, Aliou, and others)...sobmany fantastic staff, inclusing thevhousekeeping, securuty and gate staff and spa staff! There were one or two staff members who were not so polite but I will not let a bad apple spoil the bunch!

The area is a great location - close to a beautiful local public beach, the African Renaissance Monument, Seaview Plaza mall, large grocery stores and the African Souvenir Market park plus much more.

I recently stayed at the Noom, formally the Radisson Hotel. The hotel accommodations were great. My only area of concern was the customer service for food. Several times when I ordered, I had to wait an extended period. However, I observed other guests arriving promptly after receiving their food. One night, it was cool as I sat outside and requested a blanket. When I ordered my food, the server did not come to check to see if I was pleased with the service. When I asked her why she didn’t check back with me about the blanket, she said she was sorry and there were no blankets. When clearly, other guests received blankets. Please emphasize to your staff the importance of customer service and how ALL guests need to be treated EQUALLY! Also, emphasize to your staff the importance of customer service and be mindful of how you treat your guests.

The stay was fine but not the réception was was not welcoming. Paid for my stay in December 2024 and was told I did not. Showed the receipt of hotel.com but still was not trusted. Their system was down, I can understand they cannot say that my receipt is not true. I finàlly got a room. After so much talking and waiting after a long trip from Canada. That was bad!

Let me start by saying the staff was super duper great in every area of this hotel. Now the review, I had to change my room 3 times to get a room resembling the photo online. After showing the staff the actual room I reserved online based on the pictures, I was told that room is not in their hotel. I was in 178 where overall the room was unappealing. I can say the view was really good. The wall I primarily faced was devoid of any pictures or paintings. It was blank. The furniture was dated with baseboards that seemed to have water damage. The 1st floor smelled of stale water and the carpet was torn and worn in several spaces. There was direct access to the shopping mall on this floor. That was a plus. I visited the bar/restaurant by the pool. The food and drinks were good but I waited so long for the bill I went to the bar. I learned after the second time to just order from the bar for a take-away. I didn't find any events nearby. Luckily the hotel is in area where this single female felt very safe walking by herself, no matter the time of day or night. There is no direct beach access. The safe in my room had its keypad ripped off so I had to bring all my valuables with me each time I left my room. I decided to use housekeeping once during my 6-night stay. Ultimately, I really should be requesting a full refund as I feel as if this was a case of bait-and-switch. This hotel used a cardstock photo to solicit customers. That in itself is enough for me to say no,

Si vous buvez tout le café dans la chambre, il ne sera renouvelé qu’au compte goutte.
Aucun des problèmes techniques rencontrés n’a été résolu, malgré plusieurs relances.
Le petit déjeuner est bien avec du choix, mais aucun renouvellement gustatif , c’est copier/coller tous les jours.
Le coffre fort était complètement inopérant; et on ressent le vieillissement des chambres, et les odeurs dans les couloirs.
Pas de restauration à l’hôtel, uniquement du snacking.
Malgré toutes ces péripéties , on me facturera le départ tardif.
Point positif : le service au petit déjeuner et au bar.
Au final,je vous conseille fortement d’aller ailleurs.

Restaurant staff and bar staff were not hospitable. I waited nearly 30 minutes at the pool for someone to approach me and take my order while hanging poolside. No one came and I had to walk up to someone. Later at dinner that night it took nearly an hour for wings and a personal pizza. They brought the pizza and forgot the wings. I tried to cancel the wings and they brought them anyway. The restaurant staff could be more pleasant and pleasing to guests. They act like we owe them something.

Arrived at the hotel at 6PM (check-in time is 3PM) I was told to come back. Returned 30mins later and was informed it wasn't ready. This lasted until 8:30PM at which time I asked for them to be honest with me which is when they informed me they overbooked the hotel and had no room. Essentially lying to me since 6PM. Around 9PM they moved me to another hotel 45mins away which I had to wake up prior to 7AM in order to be driven back to Radisson for a morning tour. After asking, they did give me a voucher for food which is why I am giving them 4 stars. The following day a room was available around 4:45PM. I would advise against rooms with pair numbers *22 to *34 as they face the pool deck and bar which is where musicians play music at times until 9:30PM and then speaker music comes on. I recommend booking a 0* room on the ground floor, it is a staircase down from the pool deck but quitter and some face the ocean. This place hosts convention almost daily bring tons of people including the pool side which is why of 25 pool loungers (hotel with 241 rooms) some are stacked on top of each other as there's no room. Food and bar drinks were nice and service. Bar serves food. Rooms have 1 shaver socket in washroom and some rooms have Type R plugs while others have Type G. Paid $300 a night wouldn't say it was worth it if you're going for a vacation.

This property was okay. Our room smelled of mildew and cleaner when we arrived.

Our AC didn’t work, I called the front desk and they sent someone who messed with the thermostat and then left, I gave it an hour to see if it would get cooler in the room, then I called again and they sent someone at 10:30pm to replace the filter, I gave it another hour and the room still didn’t cool off any so I called again. This time they sent someone out at midnight who said all he can do is give us a new room, we weren’t trying to move that late especially since my lady was sleeping and we had a flight early in the morning. All they said was sorry, didn’t offer any refund, credit or anything except a new room at midnight and an “I’m sorry”.

We also felt like the staff outside at the bar/patio place were rude to us.

Overall I wouldn’t want to stay here again.

This stay was disappointing. The front desk staff and cleaning staff were very nice and tried to make it up in some aspects, but there were many inconveniences. There was an argument over breakfast every single day when we paid in advance and still had to pay to access breakfast each morning. We used a venue space in the hotel that was leaking, we did not have the materials we requested and the staff was slow to help. The rooms were not clean when we arrived and the flies all over the hotel made the stay unpleasant.

Please don’t close bar at 11. All flights of Air France and Iberia arrives the night, and it’s not pleasant to eat in the room. It’s a shame a hotel like this radisson closes kitchens that early, besides you know very well flights arrive on night, and there’s no option.

The hopel is beautiful and expansive. Ocean views. Am not be beat. Active construction was happening. Our sea view from the balcony was unobstructed but very much under construction. The pool was closed for maintenance. Too bad the fixes couldn’t be done overnight so it could be enjoyed during the hot day. Services at the spa and restaurants was just right!

The bellboy, Mr Sheriff Jallow was very helpful, always smiling and makes one feel welcomed at the hotel.

The hotel needs to improve on the crowd control especially around the pool. These facilities are difficult to enjoy given the large crowds of people coming in from the city to use the facilities.

Do not book the sea view room with balcony. The hotel is currently having construction on those balconies from
8am -4pm. We were not able to sleep thorough the stay may 5-May 8-3 nights. No lounging chair or tables. No access to the balcony. You see dirt and construction workers. Water leakage from the shower through exit door then hallway. Unacceptable!

The staff members are always polite. A few to mention (even if everyone is nice), are Abba, Marieme Cisse, Allassane, Djinda and Mona. Any issue that was brought forth were immidiately aknowledged and solutions or alternatives were proposed. Being a heavy traveler I know nothing is ever perfect, but great customer service is key to a guest satisfaction and at the Radisson they do strive to ensure quality service. That is what makes the beauty of a fine establishment. I would recommend Radisson as one of the top hotels to stay when in Dakar.

The initial room provided was not what I had booked. They changed the room after I informed them that my booking was for a superior ocean view room and not a basement room. Radisson also provided complimentary massage for the duration of my stay which was very nice of them. The pool bar and restaurant was excellent to dine at and the staff were very attentive. Overall, a very good and enjoyable stay.
The corridors and rooms need to be cleaned and updated, they look old and stained.

Ok, It's clearly an elegant hotel, one of the finest in Dakar. The grounds are impressive with wonderful modern artwork, a great infity pool with a view of the sea, and the staff is very nice. We also liked it that locals are welcome and plentiful. My only suggestion is to do something about the food. For breakfast at least, if you don't want the $66USD buffet, the a la carte food takes a long time (though some of it is clearly coming from the buffet), is cold, and poor quality with undercooked eggs, \"chicken sausage\" that is like hotdogs, etc. I also would be used to a \"concierge\" who could help at a hotel like this, but perhaps that is not typical in Senegal.

Wasn’t nice like the Radisson Blu I stayed at in Kenya. Expected more for a 5 star hotel. Food was ok for dinner buffet, but it was the same every night. The restaurant at the pool was a lil better. The flies are all over Dakar, but the hotel didn’t have any measures in place for them. That was a big problem. The pool was nice. They have construction going on at the hotel, and if I knew I wouldn’t have stayed there. Over all it was ok but not worth the price tag. The beach is down the street and not right in the property, but you can see it from a distance.

I LIKED SOME OF THE STAFF
DIDNT LIKE HOW THE FRIDGE IN THE ROOM WAS NOT WORKING.
ALSO HOW THEY WOULDNT ORDER ME FOOD FROM THE RESTAURANTS MENU TO THE ROOM.
AND THE BALCONY WAS TOO SMALL WITH NO CHAIR AND TABLE.
LOTS OF MOSQUITOS
AND WE HAD TO PARK FAR FROM THE ENTRANCE OF THE HOTEL EVERYTIME WE CAME.
